This research offers the manufacture of an emergency light prototype using Arduino Nano as the main controller. This prototype uses a buck converter in collaboration with an Arduino Nano to regulate the duty cycle with Pulse Width Modulation, based on feedback from voltage and current sensors. MOSFETs are used to regulate the voltage from a 10 Wp solar panel using the PWM method which is controlled by Arduino Nano. This buck converter is an inverting type because it changes the position of the supply voltage. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technique is used to optimize energy from solar cells by finding optimal working points, ensuring maximum efficiency. This research also uses a 3.7 V lithium battery with a capacity of 18,650 mAh as a load for a series of prototype lights with the Joule Thief concept. The Joule Thief circuit is a minimalist oscillating voltage amplifier that is economical and easy to make, suitable for driving LED lights or DC dynamos. The results of this research show that the DC-DC MPPT buck converter based on the Arduino nano microcontroller can work well. By setting the duty cycle to 80 percent and a frequency of 62.5 kHz, current and voltage measurements produce an output of 4.95 volts - 5 volts.

Mobile phones have evolved into versatile devices that can be used for a variety of purposes, including sending and receiving multimedia messages, surfing the internet, taking photos and videos, playing music, playing games, and running various applications. Mobile is not only a communication tool, but also a multimedia and productivity tool that is very important in everyday life, like a novice YouTuber who can use a cellphone to create his YouTube content. Beginner YouTubers refer to individuals who are just starting their journey in creating and uploading videos on YouTube. When creating video content, a novice YouTuber can use a cellphone, but when choosing a cellphone for creating content, a YouTuber must really choose. Because there are many choices of cellphones available now, it makes a novice YouTuber confused in determining the best cellphone to use. In choosing a cellphone for a novice YouTuber, there are several things to consider, namely Front Camera Resolution, Rear Camera Resolution, RAM, Internal Memory, Battery Capacity and Price. Then we need this information system which is also called a Decision Support System (DSS). SPK is a system that can help companies or organizations to make decisions on a problem they face. In this study, we applied the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method and ROC weighting, which is a method for making decisions and scoring criteria for obtaining the best cellphone recommendations for novice YouTubers, namely Infinix Zero 20 with a score of 0.92711 as an alternative that gets the highest score.

Water is a living medium for goldfish, which greatly influences their lives. Water quality as a living medium for fish greatly influences the growth and development of goldfish; therefore, water quality must meet the needs of goldfish. Several water quality parameters that greatly influence fish life are temperature, degree of acidity (pH), and solid substances dissolved in water (TDS). The aim of this research is to design a monitoring system capable of measuring temperature, degree of acidity (pH), and solid substances dissolved in water based on the Internet of Things. This tool is used for an Internet of Things-based water quality monitoring system in goldfish aquariums, where the results obtained will be sent via smartphone to the Blynk application. And it can also provide food automatically and provide notifications if the water becomes cloudy. This tool is designed using an Arduino Uno, a Wemos D1 R2 controller, and sensors used to measure each parameter, namely the DS18B20 sensor, pH sensor, and TDS sensor. Then the feeder uses a servo to open the feed and an RTC as a timer. The results of this research conclude that the calibration results for the DS18B20 sensor have an average accuracy rate of 99% with a sensor error percentage of 1%, the pH sensor has an accuracy rate of 98.7% with an error percentage of 1.3%, and the TDS sensor has an accuracy rate of 94.59% with an error percentage of 5.41%.

This study explains the benefits of data analysis by visualization of Big data inoptimizing cases of the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia. The data used is the COVID-19 Indonesia time series data from the Kaggle website. In this study, the author used tableau tools to analyze data based on worksheets of covid-19 distribution maps, COVID-19 statistics, details of active cases per province, death cases per province, active cases, death cases, confirmed cases and produced a dashboard of COVID-19 data. The results of the analysis obtained using visualizations in the form of graphs are very fast and optimize data processing so that they can find out which provinces are affected by active cases and deaths of COVID-19 from the highest to the lowest in Indonesia and can be used in decision and policy making for the Indonesian government.

This research proposes the application of an automatic tap device at the GBI Tanjung Pasir Church based on an Arduino Uno with an SR04 ultrasonic sensor. Water is the main need for living creatures, especially humans, and most people think that water is a natural resource that is unlimited in quantity. Currently, the operation of tap water is done manually; people often forget to turn off the tap water when the water is full, which causes the water to overflow in the bathtub and waste water in vain, indirectly results in wastage of water, and is very less efficient. An effective way to overcome this is to set the water level limit in the bathtub. In this thesis, an automatic faucet is used using an ultrasonic sensor, namely a sensor that will detect and release or turn off water automatically by activating the primary media using a solenoid valve. The results of this research show that the sensor on the faucet can automatically solve the problem of filling the bathtub when the water level is below a predetermined limit and will stop filling when it reaches the full limit. Having an automatic faucet makes it easier for users to fill and close water without having to monitor it while preventing wastage of water in the bathtub. With an automatic faucet, it is hoped that it can prevent wastage of water in the bathtub due to the user's negligence.

Presence is a procedure or process that needs to be carried out by all employees or members of a company or agency. The attendance register is a reference and benchmark for assessing, measuring, and determining the quality and quantity of each member or employee of the company or agency. Presentations carried out manually are considered less effective and efficient in terms of time and usage. So it is necessary to build an intelligent attendance system, one of which is by creating an intelligent attendance system that uses IoT-based fingerprint recognition technology with an Arduino controller and outputs to an Internet or intranet server. Based on the results obtained in the research, administrators can float their side servers freely. The time for sending data from the presence device to the server uses the POST method, with an average time of 8 seconds on an intranet network with a maximum distance of 25 meters from the wireless router or access point. By creating this attendance system, it makes it easier for the Surya Pematangsiantar Education Foundation to record the attendance of teachers and staff, especially SMK units.

A greenhouse is a building with a frame or shaped like bubbles, covered with clear or translucent material that can transmit light optimally for production and protect plants from climatic conditions that are detrimental to plant growth. Research on an Arduino-based plant watering system in a plant house aims to design, create, and test a system to be able to carry out watering. The method used in research on an IOT smartphone-based plant watering system uses an ATMEGA 328P Arduino. There are several stages that need to be paid attention to, namely the design stage, the construction/manufacturing stage, and the installation stage. Next is the testing of products that have been made using Arduino and ESP8266. Watering can be scheduled so that it is done on time. The system can do watering; watering is done automatically with a working voltage of 208–214 VAC and 15 VDC and a constant Arduino pin voltage of 4.8 VDC. By carrying out tests on watering plants, based on the test results, the Arduino-based automatic plant watering system in the plant house can work well according to design.

The Head of Warehouse has the main responsibility to manage and supervise the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispensing goods. In addition, the warehouse head is responsible for leading the warehouse staff team, providing the necessary direction, training, and supervision to ensure efficiency and safety in warehouse operations. This study aims to select warehouse heads by applying a combination of MOORA and PIPRECIA methods, as well as GRA and PIPRECIA. The combination of MOORA and PIPRECIA as well as GRA and PIPRECIA will be compared based on the final ranking of the two methods used. Based on the ranking results on the MOORA Method, the highest value with a value of 0.40017 was obtained by FHY with rank 1, a value of 0.36637 was obtained by AGL with rank 2, and a value of 0.35721 was obtained by YLS with rank 3 Based on the rating results on the GRA Method, the highest value with a value of 0.12164 was obtained by AGL with rank 1, a value of 0.12017 was obtained by FHY with rank 2, and a value of 0.1054 obtained by TAN with rank 3. Ranking differences between Multi-Method Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) and Gray Relational Analysis (GRA) can arise due to differences in approaches in evaluating and comparing alternatives. The results of the conformity test can be concluded in the selection of warehouse heads who recommend the GRA method compared to the MOORA method, because the results of the conformity level of the GRA method get a value of 99.99919% higher than the MOORA method.

One of the advantages of solar cells is their ability to generate electricity without creating noise or air pollution. However, they have the disadvantage of increasing temperature due to continuous exposure to solar radiation, thereby decreasing solar cell efficiency. A solution to mitigate this effect is a cooling system for solar cells. Cooling methods for solar cells consist of active and passive methods. Active cooling methods for solar cells require power consumption, necessitating analysis and evaluation of their efficiency in practical applications. This research analyzed the power efficiency of a cooling system using a water pump, peltier, and fan. The power measurements generated by the cooled solar cell produced a power efficiency of 8.64%, compared to a solar cell without cooling. Meanwhile, the average power efficiency over six data collections was 7.82%.

In the electric power system it does not always run normally. There are many disturbances or disturbance anomalies that can disrupt the operation of the system. One of them is at the Sekarputih main substation. last two years, the channel has experienced five short- circuit disruptions. As a result, electromagnetic distance relays must be replaced with digital distance relays equipped with reclosers. The reclosers will function when there is a relay disturbance on a trip and automatically reconnect. The disruptions may occur due to damage brought by unstable weather conditions. Indirectly, the value of relay settings will change and deviate from the PLN (state electricity company) standards. Therefore, relay re-setting was performed using two methods: the Fuzzy Mamdhani and the ANFIS methods. Using the Fuzzy Mamdhani method, the relay distance settings were as follows: Zone 1 = 0.523 Ω, Zone 2 = 0.54 Ω, and Zone 3 = 1.58 Ω. Meanwhile, the relay distance settings by the ANFIS method were: Zone 1 = 0.432 Ω, Zone 2 = 0.65 Ω, and Zone 3 = 1.22 Ω. The previous values of relay distance settings by PLN were Zone 1 = 0.587 Ω, Zone 2 = 1.046 Ω, and Zone 3 = 1.766 Ω.
