Abstract

This research aims to identify and describe the specific obstacles encountered by English Language Education students at Gorontalo State University (UNG) in developing their speaking proficiency. The study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing questionnaires (Likert scale) and semi-structured interviews with 4th-semester students. The findings revealed that students face multi-faceted challenges categorized into Linguistic, Personal, Environmental, and Social problems. The dominant obstacles were Linguistic Problems (81% agreement), driven primarily by Mother Tongue Interference and difficulties in choosing appropriate words and maintaining fluency. Personal Problems (70.4%), particularly anxiety and hesitation, were also highly significant, hindering active participation due to the fear of negative evaluation. Environmental Problems (77.4%) highlighted issues with the Teaching Method and limited opportunities for spontaneous speaking practice. Social Problems (67.9%) centered on the fear of committing mistakes and criticism from peers. The research concludes that speaking challenges in this context stem from a strong interplay between linguistic deficits and affective factors. Therefore, effective intervention must address both vocabulary/grammar mastery and psychological support by creating a highly communicative and anxiety-reducing learning environment.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital dalam dua puluh tahun terakhir telah memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab, baik dari segi metode, media, maupun capaian belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tren terbaru penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab melalui tinjauan literatur sistematis (SLR) terhadap publikasi ilmiah periode 2020–2025. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media digital seperti aplikasi ponsel, video interaktif, platform pembelajaran daring, dan media sosial berkontribusi meningkatkan motivasi, minat, serta efisiensi belajar dengan menghadirkan materi yang lebih variatif, kontekstual, dan mudah disesuaikan. Selain itu, teknologi berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI)termasuk chatbot, pengenalan ucapan, pemeriksa tata bahasa, dan model bahasa seperti ChatGPT—terbukti mendukung penguasaan keterampilan mendengar, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis melalui pembelajaran yang dipersonalisasi dan umpan balik otomatis. Namun, kajian juga menemukan tantangan seperti ketidakmerataan infrastruktur digital, rendahnya literasi digital di kalangan pengajar, serta kompleksitas bahasa Arab yang masih menjadi hambatan bagi banyak pelajar. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa teknologi digital memiliki potensi besar sebagai pendorong perubahan pedagogis menuju pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang lebih responsif, inklusif, dan berbasis data, sekaligus menekankan perlunya peningkatan kompetensi digital guru agar integrasi teknologi dapat diterapkan secara optimal.

Abstract

Currently, Indonesia has indeed built economicfacilities and infrastructure, but in fact these buildings are fragileand porous. Once the crisis wave hit the building, everything fellapart and it took a very long time to bring it back up. In fact, other Asial countries that have the same fate as Indonesia have already emerged from the economic crisis, such as Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea and others. In this context, the Islamic economic discourse is still very relevant to be discussed more seriously, and put forward as an alternative solution to overcoming the economic crisis in Indonesia, where the majorityof the population is Muslim. In fact, recently the banking worldhas adopted the Islamic economic system without a doubt. Conventional banks, for example, which have been based on theWestern economic system, are now starting to open banks basedon other money economy systems as well as developing anIslamic economic system. It seems that a fair system which formsthe basis of Islamic economics is the main reason why this systemis increasingly in demand and developed by the (Muslim) community today. Of course, the development of an Islamic economy will face many challenges today and in the future,and will serve as a test for whether the Islamic economy is able to overcome the economic crisis in Indonesia. Muslim economists are important pioneers who have successfully transformed the Islamic economic system into the modern world. Even to be honest, Western economists have actually learned from them. They appeared when the West was still in the dark ages. This includes their economy. Moreover, the emergence of this Muslimeconomy was in the post-Greek phase and pre-Western progress. However, the thoughts of these Muslim economists experiencedperiods of disconnection from generation to generation of Muslims recently. In fact, literature that discusses Islamic economics, especially the thoughts of Muslim economists, is stillvery rare and limited in the midst of the Indonesian Muslim community. The historical aspect is no exception. This study hasa very important meaning because it will trace the historical study of economic thought in Islam which is very unfavorable because, throughout Islamic history, Muslim thinkers and leaders have developed various economic ideas in such a way thatthey are not considered. The opposition comes from Schumpeter,great gap, by saying that the source of economics is from the west.

Abstract

Talak dan ruju’ merupakan bagian penting dalam hukum keluarga Islam yang tidak hanya bersifat normatif, tetapi juga memiliki dimensi pendidikan dan sosial. Al-Qur’an mengatur talak dan ruju’ secara ketat dengan menekankan prinsip keadilan, etika, dan kemaslahatan. Namun, dalam praktik masyarakat, sering ditemukan perbedaan antara ketentuan normatif tersebut dengan realitas yang terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendidikan talak dan ruju’ dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an serta praktiknya di masyarakat Rantauprapat Kabupaten Labuhanbatu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif-analitis, bersifat normatif-empiris. Data diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan literatur fikih keluarga, serta penelitian lapangan melalui wawancara dengan tokoh agama, penyuluh agama, dan masyarakat yang memiliki pengalaman terkait talak dan ruju’. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan mengaitkan antara perspektif Al-Qur’an dan praktik sosial masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan praktik talak serta ruju’ di masyarakat masih bersifat parsial dan belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan nilai-nilai edukatif Al-Qur’an. Talak sering dilakukan secara informal tanpa pencatatan hukum, sementara ruju’ dipahami secara terbatas tanpa pendampingan dan kesadaran etis yang memadai. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan pendidikan talak dan ruju’ yang integratif agar praktik perceraian dan rujuk dapat berjalan sesuai prinsip syariat, melindungi hak-hak keluarga, serta meminimalkan dampak sosial yang ditimbulkan.
