Abstract

Purpose of this community dedication is present the significancy of household sanitary hygiene in public settlement environment. Sanitary hygiene as one of public health aspect to create health public environment. This activity in the formed of socialization formerly did generally in public hall, lalu dilnjutkan with socialization personally door to door of people who do not yet good sanitation facilities. Formerly data was get from officials who had been did survey to people in this village who have not been sanitation facilities like toilet for defecation until food residual and other rubbish from household waste. This activity community dedication is expected to give education to community for more police sanitation in people household.

Abstract

Formerly, UPT BPPRD Sukarame Area always has difficulty in financial statement to local government making. This trouble was caused by condition which no human resource who able mastery and used computer program of financial statement and financial statement way to local government. Because of that situation, every staff and official mastery computer program especially related to financial statement. Actually, financial statement has been created by staff, but it still used manual way neither computer program. Team expected that with this computer utilization training, staff and officials could used standard financial statement program like microsoft excel and power point. The target of this community dedication was staff and officials of UPT BPPRD who able to make computer based financial statement and they able to apply Microsoft Powerpoint for presenting financial statement. This training program did as schedule plan. Based on feedback, response, and participation of UPT staff and officials concluded that they feel satisfied with this training program. It proved by ability to apply computer program as requisite in office.

Abstract

In line with technological development, dream house concept was integrated with modern technology to assist human stay comfortable and practically didi activity inside. Because of will to praticipate in creating apply technological development community and bearing Indonesian young inventor since they were junior and senior high school student, team consist of lecturers of UMITRA Lampung held a workshop or intensive practice with theme “Workshop about microcontroller and robotic”. This community dedication community in basic practice activity about microcontroller and robot form have been realized in robotica practice room of Fakultas Komputer Universitas Mitra Indonesia. This program was purposed to 5 senior high schhol in Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

The aim of this community dedication is present the significancy of washing hand with the proper way. Washing hand is one of activity did by everyone every day. This activity start after survey of team to the student in a state school in Purbolinggo, it is SMP N 1 Purbolinggo. This activity in the formed of socialization former step was preparation, then implementation (health education socialization), and the last was closing.  This activity community dedication is expected to give education to student for being more healthy with good management of hand wash activity.

Abstract

Milk is a foodstuff that is very important for human life. This fact had been known by people since b.c. years ago that milk could support human growth very well since infant until adult age. Cow`s Milk and Goat`s Milk produced by farmer/breeder group in the village only being traded as fresh milk without any alternative to process it to be other processed product. Even less if produced milk was very abundant, it could not sold out and finally been wasted. It need to be quality improved, and be storage period extended, it need to be further processed be kefir drink. Problems happened was lack of knowledge about benefits of drinking milk especially Kefir drink because of no information about familiarization or promotion to Purwosari Community. Beside that, any worry about its taste and smell did not quite right with Indonesian people taste. Therefore, people need to be introduced and educated about Kefir production from Goat `s and Cow`s milk. The expectation of this activity to create increase of milk consumption in Kefir drink form especially in Purwosari Village. The conclusion of this community dedication is the increase of knowledge and education Purwosari community about plan and produce milk and community skill in making Kefir drink.

Abstract

The process of making Jumputan cloth is unique. Jumputan is a handicraft made by picking (picking up with your fingers) certain parts of the cloth, then producing a pattern according to the pattern drawn from the process of dyeing natural dyes or textile dyes from tightly tied fabric tied pineapple waste which is useless for use by indigenous peoples As a natural dye to make the color of the cloth used, Pineapple waste is often thrown away immediately. In fact, if it is used as an interesting work, it will benefit the wider community. By making Pineapple waste a beautiful work of art, the price is high. Many people are interested in having it. In addition to being useful again, the results of used Pineapple Limah handicraft products can be a business opportunity. Pineapple is usually made as simple as food to eat with bread, this time pineapple waste is a light and easy to use material, even by using and playing with pineapple waste it can produce interesting works of expensive Jumputan. Not a few people still think that pineapples have a fragile character and are easily rotten, especially not for long, this time it is used for natural dyes for jumputan fabrics.

Abstract

Community empowerment is the existence of equality or equal position between the community and institutions that carry out community empowerment programs, both for men and women. The dynamics that are built are the relation of equality with the development of mechanisms from each other's knowledge, experience, and expertise. Each of them acknowledges each other's strengths and weaknesses so that there is a mutual learning process. Empowerment programs that can stimulate community independence are programs that are participatory, planned, carried out, supervised, and evaluated by the community. But getting to that level requires time and a mentoring process that includes facilitators who have a high commitment to community empowerment. The principle of self-reliance is to respect and prioritize community abilities compared to assistance from other parties. This concept does not view the poor as incapable objects (the save not), but as subjects who have little ability (the have litte). They have the ability to save in-depth knowledge about business problems, know about their environmental conditions, have the workforce and the will and have long-complied social norms. All of these must be explored and used as basic capital for the empowerment process. Assistance from other parties which is material in nature must be seen as a support, so that the provision of assistance does not weaken the level of self-reliance.

Abstract

The city of Situbondo is currently the choice of entrepreneurs in the culinary business. For example, in the corner of the city along the main road entering Situbondo, there is a culinary business building, starting with street vendors, cafes, restaurants, shop houses, and a typical Situbondo souvenir center. One of the home industries in Panji Lor Village is Kristy's home industry. This home industry develops a superior product of tofu dregs crackers which is an innovation of KKN UNEJ 253 students and Mrs. Ine as the owner of the home industry. Through the 2018 partnership service program, this home industry received equipment assistance to cool cracker dough in the form of freezers and spinner equipment. Unfortunately, marketing promotion still relies on conventional methods so that the tofu dregs cracker is not well known to the public. Product packaging still relies on simple equipment so that packaging design is less desirable. In addition, the limitations of packaging equipment make tofu dregs crackers not durable and prone to damage. The proposed Partnership Service Program has a specific target of enabling service partners to implement tofu cracker marketing through offline and online media. Besides that, it also helps in the form of packaging equipment so that the tofu pulp crackers can last for a long time and minimize damage. The community service team has introduced online marketing through websites and other internet media and provided marketing strategy assistance. Abstract

In increase household economy, participation of housewife was very signifficant to be empowered through institution media that is Group of Farming Woman (Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT)). Government have been support the existence of KWT with cattle donation like layer duck cultivation that managed in groups. But, layer duck cultivation in KWT Tambah Luhur Village, Purbolinggo didn`t optimal. Through community dedication activity, community should be motivated and people thought that housewive played an important role in family welafare, moreover in increase national food security. Based on above, this activity aim to motivate and train KWT in optimalize role of KWT especially in develop layer duck cultivation result of governernment donation. Method used in community dedication activity pengabdian such as eludication with materials that supported development of layer duck cultivation about layer duck business prospect, technique of layer duck cultivation (home system), and variation of processing of layer duck flesh. Result and impact of this community dedication activity was motivated of KWT to develop layer duck business in groups.

Abstract

The existence of Covid-19 given impact directly to community life, did not only about health, but also for economy. Limitations for government activity increase these impact. Many people have been enemployment, then community, decrease of people purchasing power caused unstable economic cycle. People were being instructed stay at home for decrease contagion and transmittal virus Covid-19. This matter caused people be unproductive because they should be “kaum rebahan” that reffer to just at home in pandemic Covid-19 period. Based on problems mentioned above, this dedication community of Program Studi Komunikasi and Penyiaran Islam IAIN Surakarta took “Penguatan Dampak Covid-19” as theme. This dedication community did in form of training of photograph to millenial generation in order they`ll stay productive in Covid-19 pandemic period. This activity did “Training of photograph for millenial generation” purposed to karang taruna (youth organization)Pucangan, Kartasura, Sukoharjo, Central Java, did on June 20th 2020 located in Pucangan Office. Purpose of this activity for give information and basic knowledge about photograph to karang taruna (youth organization) for used as photographer and increase photo quality that used for online shop. Method used in this event as presentation and discussion and practice. Material presentation about basics of photograph contnoued with discussion and finished with capture photo or picture practice. The result of this event, participants instructed to practice photo shoot with approach and basic knowledge about photograph to create good quality of images or photos. Good photos would give appearance as the photograph technique used by participants. This event wished to increase participants skill in produce sensitivity and sharpness of photos or images angle to create good photos to be uploaded in online shop to make consumers interest with only slook at the good photos or images. Besides, increase of the participants skill in photograph, could be a good and reliable photographer. It shoukd be a solution of millenial generation skill increase in the pandemi period to be productive and increase level of life people as generally.
