Jurnal Tathwir adalah jurnal ilmiah tentang isu-isu sosial dan perkembangan masyarakat Islam. Jurnal ini pertama kali diterbitkan pada bulan April 2009 oleh Departemen Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam (PMI), Fakultas Dakwah UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Nama Jurnal Tathwir terinspirasi dari semangat perubahan yang merupakan derivasi dari kata “tathwir” (perubahan). Jurnal ini terbit secara berkala setiap bulan April dan Oktober. Jurnal Tathwir memuat artikel-artikel dari hasil penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan kajian ilmu-ilmu sosial keagamaan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of empowerment and increasing religious values. through regular recitations at the Ta`lim Nurul Iman Council, Agung Koto Iman Village, Tanah Cogok District, Kerinci Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through participant observation, in-depth interviews and document analysis. Research respondents were members of the Ta'lim Council and the community who were involved in routine recitation activities. The research results show that the routine recitation of the Ta`lim Nurul Iman Council is able to empower the community through 4 processes. The first process was the successful formation of the Ta`lim Nurul Iman Council group. The second process is support from the Village Head which is proof of support. The third process succeeded in determining the potential for routine recitation at the Ta`lim Nurul Iman Council. The four processes of routine recitation activities at the ta`lim assembly were successful and ran smoothly in empowering the community in the religious sector. Increasing religious values through routine recitations in the Ta`lim Nurul Iman Council of Agung Koto Iman Village, namely religious values are beliefs, worship, morals that have the potential to succeed in increasing the religious values of the people of Agung Koto Iman Village, one of which is through development progress in Nowadays, people are increasingly interested in actively studying, increasing their knowledge and understanding religious values for provisions in the afterlife, carried out every Friday and Sunday where it is held in mosques and prayer rooms.

Abstract

Education is one of the efforts to make humans as people who have knowledge and civilized. It is known, one of these systems is a very important institution in the world, in recent years the world is facing a very dangerous outbreak that makes the economic system and education decrease, the level of educated students decreases due to the cost that makes dropping out of school by facing these events waqf becomes one of the solutions that can overcome economic problems during this pandemic, Waqf is giving an eternal substance to the community or to others to be taken advantage of.

Abstract

This article wants to examine the implementation of FGD techniques in mosque-based empowerment activities as an effort to increase the enthusiasm for learning Religion for At-Taubah MDTA students. This can be done to increase enthusiasm and participation for MDTA students by modifying learning methods by implementing FGD techniques so that learning is not monotonous and boring. The research method used is social participatory action research. This study found that FGD techniques that were implemented effectively could increase participation and increase enthusiasm for religious learning in students at MDTA At-Taubah through the stages; 1) the preparation stage consists of initial mapping, trust building, field preparation. 2) The stages of implementation consist of the orientation, exploration, transition and work and productivity stages of the FGD. The real results obtained were an increase in knowledge and insight in the field of religion, the application of good morals and manners, as well as increased skills in reading and writing the Koran as well as skills in carrying out religious practices.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan resensi buku Future Directions in Social Development yang diedit oleh James Midgley dan Manohar Pawar. Buku mereka menggugah pembaca untuk memikirkan kembali pencapaian pembangunan sosial. Memang, telah terjadi kemajuan signifikan; terpenuhinya kebutuhan dasar ratusan juta orang, peningkatan partisipasi anak dalam pendidikan dan keterbukaan layanan kesehatan namun kemajuan ini tidak merata, meninggalkan beberapa kesenjangan dan ketimpangan (h. 4). Alih-alih topik dalam tiap bab seakan menentukan masa depan pembangunan sosial, sejumlah topik tersebut lebih berupaya agar memeriksa kembali masalah sosial, berpikir kritis, melakukan refleksi, menciptakan peluang dan mendorong lebih jauh diskusi maupun perdebatan tentang apa yang perlu dicapai dalam pembangunan sosial (h. 13). Ada sembilan bab pada bagian kedua yang menjadi inti dari buku ini.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the IKADI sustainable da'wah management process in strengthening community in the suburbs of Padang. This research uses qualitative methods with a field research approach. Based on the research results, it was found that firstly, the process of planning sustainable da’wah development activities for the community living in the suburbs of Padang was based on the empirical experience of IKADI missionaries in the field. Second, the process of implementing the activities was carried out in the form of a majlis taklim, remaja masjid, wirid in accordance with the plan. Which has been determined: third, the evaluation process is carried out by requesting reports from missionary officers in the field, both verbal and written reports.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of public awareness in carrying out congregational prayers at mosques, attending Islamic studies and events held at mosques. The efforts of the At-Takwa Taklim Council can be seen from the guidance carried out by the Padang Alai taklim at-takwa council based on the aspects of faith, worship and muamalah. With these three aspects, the guidance by the Taklim Council takes the form of activities such as weekly afternoon Wirid activities at the Padang Alai Taqwa Mosque, weekly Wirid Evening at the Taqwa Padang Alai Mosque, and weekly wird yasin. This research uses qualitative methods, supported by observations and interviews, so that systematic results and implementation are found. The results of this research show that society is starting to show changes for the better, such as: starting to diligently attend the Koran, being willing to give alms and help others, not gossiping and discussing other people's problems, and starting to do good deeds that are beneficial for themselves and others. . This indicates that the presence of the Taklim assembly has had a good impact on the religious community.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to provide valuable insight into the GenKompak community's strategy to improve the public speaking skills of the younger generation and its contribution to the social development and personal branding of the younger generation. To explain this, the approach used in this research uses a qualitative approach by describing all visible phenomena by collecting data through participant observation, interviews and documentation. From the studies conducted, it was found that there were three strategies carried out by the GenKompak community to improve the public speaking of the younger generation, namely through the stage program to make speaking fluently, the story sharing program, comparative studies and collaboration, the GenKompak service program. Meanwhile, its contribution is to improve the communication skills of the younger generation, increase self-confidence, develop leadership abilities, encourage the younger generation to participate in discussions and problem solving and promote public awareness about important issues.
