Abstract

The tourism sector is a contributor to state revenue in the form of foreign exchange and plays a role in increasing productivity and reducing unemployment. The existence of COVID-19 has greatly affected the balance of national income, which has decreased. The sectors most affected are transportation, travel, warehouses and the accommodation and food provision sector. Then the other sector is the tourism sector in Indonesia, about 11.83% of Indonesian workers are in the tourism industry sector. The purpose of this study is to review the impact of Covid -19 which has resulted in the decline of the tourism industry sector in Indonesia and also to respond to Government policies to handle the impact The existence of health quarantine policies, social distancing and Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) greatly affects the activities of the tourism and manufacturing sectors which causes economic growth to slow down so that national income declines. Tourism is one of the sectors most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The tourism sector is the mainstay sector of the national economy that has the potential to encourage economic growth in Indonesia. This is indicated by the increase in the development of foreign tourist arrivals, foreign exchange receipts from the tourism sector, and the contribution of the tourism sector to national GDP. Reduced labor force, unemployment and poverty will increase will cause state revenues in the form of income tax (PPh) to decrease, therefore there needs to be a strategy for economic recovery in the tourism sector, namely fiscal policy. Fiscal policy is one of the economic policies launched by a country to manage and direct the economy to a more conducive condition. The way that this economic policy is highlighted is by changing or updating the management of state revenues and expenditures. Abstract

In the past, statisticians, programmers, and data scientists handled data analytics, rarely interacting with companies directly. However, this "experts only" method of data analysis and display has been altered by more user-friendly data visualization, dashboards, and mashup technologies. With improvements that make it possible for people at all levels of an organization to analyze data in meaningful ways, data analytics is being pushed into business. The reporting and visualization tools that statisticians formerly used are now being improved by manufacturers of enterprise-grade analytics. This study describes how dashboards help businesses optimize their operations. And how business dashboards are developed using real-time data and people's innate capacity for visual thought.

Abstract

The identity of Indonesia as a maritime country can’t be separated from maritime history and geographical conditions with the vast sea area it has. The community's economic activities are also dependent on Indonesia's maritime potential, both in terms of natural resource management as well as marine industry and services. So, to optimize the pace of the national maritime economy, it’s very necessary to have consistent evaluation, strategy, and anticipation by the government in each region of Indonesia. Therefore, the author wants to analyze how big the government's role is in utilizing Indonesia's maritime potential, specifically fishery resources in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The results of the analysis show that the Bima City government has basically made maximum efforts in developing its fishery resources, but has not yet achieved the strategic goals as written in the Bima City Marine and Fisheries Service Strategic Plan for 2018-2023.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of sequences and series in economics. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The data collection technique used in this study was a literature study. A sequence is an arrangement of numbers formed according to a certain order. Sequences and series consist of two parts each, namely arithmetic sequences and geometric sequences as well as arithmetic series and geometric series. In economics the concepts of arithmetic lines and series are used for matters relating to calculations such as the calculation of capital, interest rates, installments, and the number of interest periods on a single interest basis. In economics the concept of geometric lines and series is usually used in calculating the final capital, interest rates, and the number of loan periods on a compound interest basis. The concepts of sequences and series are also related to Malthus' theory of population growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the causes of maritime boundary disputes in Indonesia as well as the efficiency of ITLOS in resolving such disputes. Using a statutory approach and a case approach, the author conducted normative legal research. Boundary disputes or disputes involving countries, islands or the sea can be resolved by international courts acting in accordance with international law. There are still many maritime boundary disputes, such as those concerning the Malacca Strait between Malaysia and Indonesia, the Natuna Sea area between Indonesia and Vietnam, the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), the South China Sea, and other maritime boundaries. It is these unilateral claims that cause conflict in interstate relations. This can occur due to unresolved international negotiations, violations by one of the parties (countries), unclear sea boundaries, etc. UNCLOS 1982 is a United Nations Convention with a global reach that applies and only applies to countries that have ratified it. Maritime boundary disputes can be resolved in one of two ways: through litigation or through non-litigation. The last resort for resolving maritime boundary disputes is ITLOS. In Indonesia, resolving maritime boundary disputes through litigation has been more successful than resolving disputes through non-litigation.
