Abstract

The problem of street children is a problem that has become a problem in every city, especially big cities like Makassar. The problem that is present actually arises in children in the underage age group who have to feel the harshness of life on the streets. Busking, begging, selling, and committing crimes to survive. Being a street kid is not a desirable option for everyone, especially when it comes to safety. Street children are often considered a problem, and there are no regulations that can overcome this phenomenon. This study used a literature study to explore the causes, life order, and vulnerabilities faced by street children who tend to behave deviantly. The results of the study showed that the existence of street children was caused by poverty, personality deviations, and external factors of the child. They have their own living order and are often regarded as the scum of society. Street life that is not conducive and lack of supervision from the family makes street children very vulnerable to various forms of violence. Therefore, to overcome the problem of street children, a complete change is needed so that they do not return to live and work on the streets again.

Abstract

Mothers with sectio caesarea will experience several problems such as pain, impaired mobility and anxiety. The pain felt by the mother of Sectio Caesarea can come from the incision scar under the abdomen. However, the severity of pain experienced by the mother will differ depending on the psychological and physiological as well as the pain tolerance experienced by the mother. Non-pharmacological therapies that can be given to reduce pain are a combination of finger grips and Jasmine aromatherapy. The method used in this study is a descriptive case study design with a case study approach based on the application of evidence-based practice of giving a combination of finger grip with jasmine aromatherapy. The sample of 2 people in this study was mothers after sectio caesarea surgery. This case study was conducted in June 2022. The measuring instrument uses a numerical pain intensity scale. The results obtained from both pain subjects can decrease from moderate pain decreased to mild pain. There was a reduction in pain after a combination of finger grips and Jasmine aromatherapy in post-sectio caesarea mothers. Suggestions for the public are expected to be able to independently apply finger gripping techniques with a combination of jasmine aromatherapy in reducing pain.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the importance of teaching and learning activities in the educational process in schools and how teachers can improve student achievement through the application of appropriate teaching and learning strategies. The text discusses that the success of educational attainment depends largely on the quality of the learning process involving intellectual, emotional and behavioral aspects of students. Education is a conscious and planned effort to develop students' potential in various aspects of life. To improve learning achievement, teachers need to master the class during the learning process by choosing strategies, models, and learning media that suit students' interests and abilities. Teachers are also the main human resources in improving the quality of education in schools and need to be managed properly through managerial and operational functions in human resource management (HRM). Work as a teacher is a professional job, so a professional teacher must have four competencies, namely pedagogic, personality, social, and professional competencies. This research can contribute to improving the quality of the learning process and student achievement in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze effective learning methods on Islamic Cultural History (SKI) material in class XI at MAN 1 Surakarta about Islamic Renewal in Indonesia. The literature study method was used in this study by collecting and analyzing various literature related to learning methods that are relevant to the material. The results of the analysis show that the discussion method and the case study method can be effective alternative learning methods in presenting material on Islamic renewal in Indonesia to students. The discussion method can facilitate interaction between teachers and students, as well as between students, which can encourage students to think critically and be active in the learning process. The case study method can link theory with concrete practice and help students explore information about the context, factors, and impact of Islamic renewal through case study analysis. However, the use of learning methods must be adapted to the characteristics of students, learning objectives, and available resources in the MAN 1 Surakarta environment. Evaluation and adjustment of the learning methods applied are also important to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the learning process. This study provides recommendations to teachers or other educational institutions to use discussion and case study methods as an alternative effective learning method in presenting material on Islamic renewal in Indonesia to students. This conclusion is based on an analysis of literature studies and further research is needed with a more comprehensive method to strengthen the results of this study.

Employees who have organizational citizenship behavior will show concern for colleagues and are able to help other employees in developing the company, especially when employees cooperate with superiors on events in the work environment. Organizational citizenship behavior can be defined as an individual's contribution that exceeds the demands of the role in the workplace. Individuals who have high organizational citizenship behavior will be able to improve organizational performance because behavior is the lubricant of the social engine in the organization. In other words, with this behavior, social interaction in its members runs smoothly so that it can bring up positive feelings when responding to these problems. Selection of subjects using purposive sampling with characteristics, namely employees of PT. BPR X Makassar City aged 20-35 years, working for at least 5 years, and is included in the category of low organizational citizenship behavior. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with scale as a data collection tool. The scale used in this study is the organizational citizenship behavior scale and uses quality training interventions for superior and subordinate relations. The data analysis used is an independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test data analysis technique. Analysis of the independent sample t-test showed the value of t was 11,839 with p which is 0.000 (p<0.05), the mean posttest value of the experimental group was 86.92 and the mean posttest value of the control group was 64.92, thus the organizational citizenship behavior of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. Analysis of paired t-test samples showed a t value of -26,489 with p of 0.000 (p<0.05), a pretest mean value of 57.33 and a posttest mean of 86.92, thus organizational citizenship behavior in the experimental group after treatment was higher than before treatment. ANAVA test result with partial eta squared score of 0.871. Abstract

In the current era, the development of MSMEs in the utilization of natural resources continues to be carried out in order to support the family economy. However, in reality, there are still problems in developing MSME, namely the lack of understanding and knowledge of MSME actors related to agricultural product innovation and the use of digitization so that the sale of agricultural products is still at standard prices and not widely known. The purpose of this community service is to help change the people's mindset in selling agricultural products and utilizing social media as a sales strategy in order to increase selling prices and expand the market so as to support the family economy and reduce poverty. The approach used is a participatory approach by involving the community in the process. Partners in this community service are MSME actors in Sambiharjo Village, Paranggupito District, Wonogiri. The results of this community service activity are in the form of giving directions regarding product packaging and product marketing with digitization efforts. Product innovations produced by MSME actors should be maintained and followed up so that they can be effective in supporting MSME development and increasing product selling prices and supporting the family economy.

Abstract

PT United Tractors Tbk is the largest and leading heavy equipment distributor company in Indonesia which holds well-known product brands such as Komatsu, UD Trucks, Scania, BOMAG and Tadano. Currently the PT United Tractors Makassar branch workshop still uses the manual method for data collection of heavy equipment engine books, this is felt to be less effective and efficient because the mechanics are impractical in utilizing existing technology and the processing time and engine analysis will definitely take more time long. This study aims to make it easier for mechanics to work on heavy equipment engines without having to carry hardcopies of money needed in the field because mechanics only need to open a PDF file in the program. The final result of this research is to create a web-based application program system that is used as a data collection process for heavy equipment engine books.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of probiotics plus different herbs on commercial feed on protein retention and fat retention in tawes fish. Tawes fish is a type of aquatic fish and includes herbivorous fish that eat plants. An important factor influencing fish growth is feed, where growth occurs if the fish get the right protein. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) experimental method was used in this study, with 4 treatments and 3 replications, namely PA (Probiotic), PB (Turmeric), PC (Kingur), PD (Temulawak). Tawes fish used had a length of 5 cm, and maintenance was carried out for 40 days. The results showed that the addition of probiotics plus different herbs to commercial feeds had a significant effect on fish growth parameters such as absolute weight, absolute length growth, specific growth rate, fat retention, protein retention, survival, and feed conversion ratio. PD dosage (Temulawak) gave the best results for absolute weight gain, absolute length growth, specific growth rate, and feed conversion ratio. The highest survival rates were found in PD and PB (Turmeric), while the highest protein retention was in P4 and the highest fat retention was in PA.
