Abstract

The development of the Islamic economy has increaset the competition of Islamic banking industry. Thus, Islamic bank has to improve its customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is affected by product knowledge and service quality in accordance to Islamic law. This is also the focus for BTN KCS Surabaya as one of the developing Islamic Business Units. This study aimet to determine the effect of product knowledge and Islamic service quality on customer satisfaction at BTN KCS Surabaya. The data was obtained by questioner distribution to BTN KCS Surabaya customers. This study used multiple regression analysis. The results show product knowledge has no effect on customer satisfaction, and Islamic service quality affects customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, simultaneously product knowledge and Islamic service quality affect customer satisfaction at BTN KCS Surabaya.

Abstract

Waqf management can be a solution in improving community welfare. Management with a good nadzir role will bring benefits to the community. Baiturrahmah Foundation is one of the foundations that has a waqf management program. This research was conducted in order to see the improvement of welfare through waqf management through the role of nadzir. The research method is qualitative which has the result that there is an increase in welfare in the field of education in the community. However, Nadzir at the Baiturrahmah Foundation is still learning a lot and is not yet professional because in terms of SDI (Human Resources) it is still common and it is necessary to increase the scale of knowledge in terms of waqf and Nadzir operations properly. Nadzir standardization needs to be carried out in supporting professionals in managing cash waqf assets or assets by attending a nadzdiran school which will later be fostered and given training related to nadzir in accordance with Islamic law and will get a nadzir certification which will later be implemented in a good management way in an institution.

Abstract

Increasing internet users every year, making applications also develop, one of which is an online payment application, namely Link Aja. There are several factors that have an impact on interest in using e-wallet at LinkAja, one of which is the promotion factor as well as service features. This research aims to determine the effect of promotions and service features on the interest in using the Linkaja E-Wallet (Case Study in Surabaya). This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were 100 respondents from the Surabaya community who used Link Aja, using the sampling method using the random sampling method. Data collection in this research used a Likert scale. Methods Data analysis in this research uses multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that promotions and service features have a positive and significant impact on interest in using the Link Aja e-wallet. This is evidenced by the results of the R Square analysis with a value of 72.2%. This means that the variables X1 (promotion) and X2 (service features) simultaneously have an effect on the Y variable (interest in using) of 72.2% and the lack (100% - 72.2% = 72.2%) influenced by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

Waqf is a form of giving up part of the property that is used for the benefit of the welfare of the community. Sidoarjo Regency has great potential for waqf, but in fact waqf in Sidoarjo Regency is only collected a little, this is due to the low public interest in waqf. The low interest in cash waqf occurs due to several influencing factors such as income factors, knowledge factors and religiosity factors. This study aims to determine whether the income factor, knowledge factor and religiosity factor affect a person's interest in cash waqf in Sidoarjo Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative with a questionnaire method with data processing using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the income factor does not affect the interest in cash waqf in Sidoarjo Regency, while the knowledge factor and religiosity factor affect the interest in cash waqf in Sidoarjo Regency.

Abstract

Bank Syariah Indonesia as an institution that operates based on public trust must have good performance. Sharia-based companies have an obligation to implement Islamic leadership and provide compensation for the performance provided by an employee in the form of compensation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Islamic leadership and compensation on employee performance partially and simultaneously at Bank Syariah Indonesia Bojonegoro Branch Office. The type of research used is field research with quantitative methods and data collection techniques through questionnaires and data processing using multiple linear regression tests on SPSS 25.0. The results of this study found the regression model Y = 3.783 + 0.620(1) + 0.303(?2) + 0.05(e) and concluded that partially or simultaneously Islamic leadership and compensation had a positive and significant effect of 72.5%

Abstract

The high market demand for necessities has increased their business, but many of them do not fully understand islamic business ethics in buying and selling transactions. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the application of islamic business ethics in the purchase and sale of necessities at the Kedurus Market in Surabaya City. The descriptive qualitative method was used in the research. The techniques used to collect research data include observation, interviews, and documentation. According to the findings of this study, the application of islamic business ethics in buying and selling groceries at Kedurus Market only applies and carries out four principles of islamic business ethics, namely unity, balance, free will, and responsibility. The application of truth or honesty principle has not been applied by basic food traders because they do not explain the honesty of the quality of goods to buyers during trading. However, purchasing and selling transactions have been carried out by the pillars of purchasing and selling, as well as the form of purchasing ande selling used by food traders, namely ba’i an-naqd, ba’i salam, ba’i ajal, and ba’i musawamah. And the most common khiyar is khiyar majlis and khiyar aib.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the utilization of zakat for educational empowerment through the genpres program (achievement generation) at Laz Nurul Hayat Gresik and to analyze the factors supporting and inhibiting the utilization of zakat for educational  empowerment through the genpres program (achievement generation) at Laz Nurul Hayat Gresik. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using the interactive data analysis techniques of Miles and Huberman; namely, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing, and SWOT analysis methods. Check the validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results showed that the utilization of zakat funds for the empowerment of the Genpres program was given in the form of educational scholarships every month amounting to Rp. 250,000 where they also receiving coaching in the form of Islamic mentoring, volunteerism, and  entrepreneurship training. Rp. 250.000 where they also receive coaching in the from of islamic mentoring, volunteerism and entrepreneurship training. With the educational empowerment program through the Genpres program, it can reduce the number of children dropping out of school and increase student achievement motivation and social life, especially for orphans and poor people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Islamic lifestyle and price on purchasing decisions for samyang noodles in S1 Islamic Economics students, State University of Surabaya class 2018 - 2020 and determine the variables that have a dominant influence on the dependent variable. This study uses a causal associative method with a descriptive quantitative approach. The variables used are Islamic lifestyle (X1), price (X2), and purchasing decisions (Y). The population of this study were undergraduate students of Islamic Economics, State University of Surabaya from class 2018 to 2020. The data that the researcher used was primary data by collecting data through online questionnaires via google forms which were then distributed through social media. Respondents' answers were measured using a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. This is evidenced by the value of Fcount > Ftable (98,857 > 3.15), thus indicating the influence of Islamic lifestyle and price simultaneously on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, it also partially influences purchasing decisions. This is indicated by the Islamic lifestyle variable (X1) which has a regression coefficient of 4.454 > 1.998, and the price variable (X2) which has a regression coefficient of 5.896 > 1.998. So partially, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence of these two variables on purchasing decisions..

Abstract

Welfare is desired by every individual and realized through efforts such as minimizing poverty and improving health as well as education. Law No. 23 of 2011, which regulates zakat management, has a significant impact on Baznas in managing zakat, infaq, and sadaqah at the national level.  In realizing these objectives, Baznas Jombang prepares 5 programs to be distributed through productive and consumptive assistance to improve mustahiq welfare. This research is qualitative research that intends to analyze the management of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah in improving the welfare of the community. The results of this study show that the management of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah in improving the welfare of the community in Baznas Jombang Regency manifests in the form of the Jombang Berdaya and Jombang Sehat program, where a productive economy to develop small micro businesses and consumptive assistance by improving the standard of living of children with special needs were discovered.

Abstract

Al Abrar Sharia Cooperative has murabahah products for qurban animals with the aim of facilitating members or customers who wish to carry out qurban worship. However, in practice the sharia cooperative does not mention the amount of profit to customers, the profit is explained at the cooperative's annual meeting. This study aims to determine the practice of murabahah sacrificial animals at the sharia cooperative Al Abrar Surabaya in an Islamic economic perspective, whether the practice is in accordance with Islamic provisions, namely MUI DSN Fatwa No. 04 of 2000 concerning murabahah. The type of research is descriptive qualitative by analyzing the data obtained from the informants, triangulating the sources then giving an understanding and explanation about the practice of the murabahah contract of sacrificial animals. The research data was taken through primary data, namely the results of interviews with informants, namely cooperative leaders, customers, and MUI administrators. Secondary data were obtained from journals, books, articles and news related to the research. The results showed that the practice of murabahah sacrificial animals carried out by the Al Abrar Sharia Cooperative violated the general provisions in the sixth and seventh points so that it was not fully in accordance with the provisions of the MUI DSN Fatwa No. 04 of 2000.
