Abstract

Waqf management is the process of an organization in planning, organizing, leadership, and supervising various efforts of Nazhir to support the organization in achieving optimal goals. The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of the cash waqf fundraising strategy implemented in the Al-Azhar Waqf institution. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and uses purposive sampling. The results of this study concluded that the money waqf fundraising strategy by the Al-Azhar Waqf institution was implemented using the 5 ways method of funding and increasing your waqf fund. In addition, the Al-Azhar Waqf institution in carrying out the fundraising management strategy has implemented the fundraising management functions properly, namely planning, organizing, leadership, and supervision. However, in the implementation of fundraising activities there are obstacles that need to be considered in order to launch waqf fundraising activities, namely the lack of human resources both in terms of quality and quantity. Thus, this obstacle becomes an obstacle in the productivity of fundraiser activities in optimizing the collection of waqf funds.

Abstract

Asset, financing and third-party fund of bank were increasing in past three years. But, it was not followed by the increase of market share in national banking market. It means that peoples interest in islamic banking still low. This study aims to know whether religiosity and islamic bank image influence saving intention to islamic bank in Sidoarjo. This study is a quantitative study. Using validation test and reliability test for instrument testing, classic assumption testing, multiple linear regression testing and hypothesis test consisting of partial test, simultaneously test and R squared test. The result of this study explains that religiosity and islamic bank image are influencing saving intention to islamic bank in Sidoarjo in both partial and simultaneously way. Variable of religiosity and islamic bank image have the strength to influence saving intention to islamic bank in Sidoarjo by 72,7%.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic does not only affect the big business sector but also affect the small seller such a UMK and UMKM which impact on their decreasing income and even being bankrupt. Thus, the role of tithe is highly needed in order to help reducing those problems. This research is aimed to describe how the tithe distribution conducting via online and became the economic solution for mustahik, the small seller in the Covid-19 pandemic. The research object was the online tithe distribution by IZI in East Java. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative with interview and documentation as primary and secondary data. The analysis technique was information collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The result shows that online tithe distribution was not able to be conducted optimally since the realization was only 12% compared with offline distribution that reach the number of 88%, thus the online distribution was not able to covers mustahik broader. However, the impact given by the online distribution was not different with the offline distribution.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. In 2020 the total population of Muslims reached 87,18 percent. One of the pillars of Islam is zakat, but according to research by BAZNAS, the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) (2015), Indonesia has the potential for zakat of 217 trillion rupiah, but in 2007 BAZNAS reported that zakat absorbed was only Rp. 450 billion and increased in 2013 to Rp. 2.73 trillion or only about 1% compared to the national zakat potential. One LAZ that collaborates with e-commerce to collect zakat is LAZ Al-Azhar. This research aims to determine whether the zakat payment feature in e-commerce is effective in the LAZ Al-Azhar case study. This research is a qualitative research and uses phenomenological methods based on events from society. In this study, the technique of taking the subject in this study used purposive sampling and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, and triangulation of data sources was used as data validity. The results of this study state that the zakat payment feature in e-commerce in the LAZ Al-Azhar case study is effective. Even though it is considered effective, there are still many things that need to be improved, such as educating the public regarding this feature so that the distribution of zakat through e-commerce will be maximized.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the consumption behavior of Muslims on skin care products through online shopping among female students in Pamekasan. The method used in this study was qualitative descriptive research with phenomenological approach by the aim of analyzing and describing Muslim consumption behavior through online shopping on skin care among female students in Pamekasan. The object chosen was the consumption behavior of Pamekasan female students in online shopping of the skin care products. Sources of data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. The primary data of this study was obtained form interviews with sources and observations in the field. This study also used secondary data in the form of journals, books and other literature related. The data validity test technique used was in the form of triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques as well as analyzing how to reduce data, present data, and find conclusion. The results of this study showed that the consumption behavior of female students in Pamekasan through online shopping on skin care products is still not in accordance with the correct consumption behavior of Muslims because the consumption is excessive, gives priority to lust, causes redundancy and does not pay attention to halal products.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, people's habits changed slightly, namely that almost all activities were carried out online including school, work, and shopping. To meet their daily needs, people have switched to using e-commerce and payment systems using digital payments to avoid direct contact with money. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the use of digital payments on the Islamic consumption behavior of the people of Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this study using quantitative methods with a Likert scale measuring instrument with data analysis techniques using simple linear regression using SPSS 25.0. The results in this study indicate that the use of digital payments has a positive and significant effect on Islamic consumption behavior.

Abstract

A broker is a trade intermediary between a seller and a buyer who must have buying and selling practices according to Islamic law so that the contract is valid and does not prohibit actions that are prohibited. The purpose of this study is to see and understand the practice of buying and selling used cars at MGC Garage Madiun from an Islamic legal perspective. The research approach was descriptive qualitative. Data collection through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were collected at the MGC Garage Madiun showroom with showroom owners, brokers and buyers. The results of this study explain that the practice of buying and selling used cars by brokers at MGC Garage is generally in accordance with the principles of Islamic business ethics, including the principles of tawhid, help, honesty, trust, mutual agreement (pleasure), transparency, and responsibility. The practice of brokerage has also fulfilled the pillars and legal requirements of buying and selling in Islam. However, the improvement of payment methods from conventional banks to Islamic banks so that contract transactions from an Islamic perspective run perfectly.

Abstract

Islamic economics and finance in Indonesia have developed rapidly in last two decades. However, Indonesia’s Islamic economic literacy is still low at 16,3%. One way that the government has taken toincrease Islamic economic literacy is by encouraging Islamic boarding schools to increase Islamic economic and financial literacy.  The purpose of this research is to determine the level of Islamic economic literacy High School Santri of Islamic Boarding School Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang using a quantitative approach. Sources of data in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from answers given by respondents in distributed questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained from library research. The number of respondents was 89 santri. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The test on the research instrument was the validity test and reliability test. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The result showed that the Islamic economic literacy level of santri was in the sufficient literate category with an average of 73,64%. The Islamic economic literacy index is obtained by calculating the literacy rate of each aspect multiplied by the weight of the constituent aspects, so the result of islamic economic literacy index of santri is 36,61% (well literate).

Abstract

With the decline in the economy during the Covid-19 pandemic, MSME faces some difficulties in their businesses. This study aims to determine the role of BMT Mandiri Artha Syariah in empowering MSME both before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. To get research results that can interpret the role of BMT in empowering MSME, researchers used a descriptive qualitative approach. BMT Mandiri Artha Syariah Bojonegoro is the object in this research . Sources of data in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained by researchers directly from informants. And secondary data is data obtained by researchers indirectly from books and journals that support research. The data validity technique used in this study was the source triangulation technique and the technique triangulation. The data analysis technique uses the Analysis Interactive model from Miles and Huberman consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion making. The result shows that MSMEs funding program in BMT Artha is already run well, but there are some services need to be noticed. Before the Covid-19 outbreak, funding program was running well. But in this pandemic, a lot of MSMEs experience default that BMT Artha provide leeway in payment times and become selective in providing the funding program.

Abstract

The wrong mindset about gold investment creates the thought in society that gold investment is one of long term saving with high risk, multiple requirements and indeterminate. These aspects trigger the lack of gold investment interest in the society. This research aims to understand the partial influence of general knowledge, income perception and education to the gold investment interest in Jombang district society. This research used quantitative method with associative approach. The population used was the citizen in Jombang district. Sampling techniques was done by purposive sampling, while the determination of the number of sample was using Lameshow formula. The data used in this research was primary data which obtained from the online questionnaire distribution via google form. This research questionnaire used Guttman Scale measurement. In this research, the test used multiple linier regressions. This research shows that general knowledge and education aspects have positive and significant influence to the investment interest. While in the income perception aspect, it was known that there is no positive and significant influence to the investment interest.
