Abstract

Now a days tourism and hospitality industry especially in Hotel is growing fast, the writer take an observation as hotel X in Surabaya. The writer want to know influence of consument on education, level of service and policy as a leader on occupancy of Hotel X in front office Dept. front office one of central Dept in hotel as Relationship between guest and others Dept. Because of front office as central therefore front office will be brandage of image of the hotel . that’s why front office staff must have an experience and out standing skill because customer need good service expectation is priority. Hotel X in Surabaya can operates day to day operational well. It showed by result of hotel occupancy in stability over the everages. in case of this we conclude that good sevice is one of main factor will cause effect relationship of level about high of occupancy Hotel goes running well ,eventhough human resource minimizely. base in the above mater, impact of effect in the level on hotel occupancy in Surabaya because of good service to the guest.

Abstract

Inventories of finished goods is one that affects the current assets of the company. To avoid things that could hurt the company, the necessary internal controls in the management of inventory until the distribution to the consumer. The purpose of this study was to menganlisis and determine the application of internal controls in the management of inventories of finished goods to the distribution process at PT Rajawali Hiyoto Malang branch. This research uses qualitative data with the inductive approach. From the results of research at PT Rajawali Hiyoto Branch Malang, implementation of internal controls in the management of inventories of finished goods to the distribution process still needs to be improved. It can be proved by the lack of delivery fleet, part of the income and expenditure of goods in warehouses Surabaya done by men are the same warehouse and inventory damaged / worn out in the barn. But the procedures relating to the inventory done quite well. It can be proved by evidence of any tranksaksi tranksaksi like when expenditure and receipt of inventory.

Abstract

Penerapan Parallel Planning Process pada perusahaan keluarga menjadi faktor penting agar dapat bertumbuh dan berkembang secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini membahas penerapan Parallel Planning Process pada perusahaan keluarga di PT. Prima Mulia Jaya. Berdasarkan latar belakang dan perjalanan bisnis keluarga di PT. Prima Mulia Jaya, tentunya menerapkan dan mempraktekan nilai-nilai keluarga yang berhubungan dengan bisnis sampai pada keseimbangan antara kepentingan keluarga, bisnis dan kegiatan bisnis perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui Parallel Planning Process pada keluarga dan bisnis keluarga di PT. Prima Mulia Jaya dan mengetahui keseimbangan antara keluarga dan bisnis keluarga di PT. Prima Mulia Jaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara semi terstruktur. Menguji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah PT. Prima Mulia Jaya secara keseluruhan telah menerapkan Parallel Planning Process pada perusahaan sehingga masih tetap eksis sampai saat ini. Penerapan Parallel Planning Process pada perusahaan keluarga mencakup Parallel Planning Process pada keluarga dan bisnis dan keseimbangan antara keluarga dan bisnis.

Abstract

The economic growth will be continues to grow, many companies to try making survive to sustain and go out from insolvent. With the involvement of social capital and labor that goes well and supports active participation in the work environment will be created in the organization's strong commitment to both performance and survival of the organization itself. This research is causality (cause-effect) by using a quantitative approach. Object of research that all employees in PT. Bahama Swastika, the population and the sample amounted to 101 employees as sample. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 13.0.The results showed that positive leadership and social capital affect of the employee well-being, positive leadership and social capital simultaneously influence on employee well-being.

Abstract

The most often used Social media are instagram, facebook, and twitter. The main activities in social media are viewing news, uploading photos/video, and giving comment to other member. Conditions such as these is used by cafe or restaurant as a promotional tool, and the main promotion activity is advertising. This study was conducted to determine the influence of advertising which are personal relevance, online interactivity, message and brand familiarity based on social media to re-purchasing intentionat Pipe and Barrel Restaurant, Surabaya. This type of research is quantitative causal with multiple linear regression analysis was used to determine the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results shows personal relevance is the only variabel that have positive and significant influence and become the most dominant variable that gives influence onre-purchasing intention. Online interactivity and brand familiarity havepositive effect but not significant to the re-purchasing intention. Message has negative and not significant effect on the re-purchasing intention. Simultaneously the four variables have positive and significant effect on the re-purchasing intention at Pipe and Barrel Restaurant, Surabaya.

Abstract

Bankruptcy is a serious problem, there should be an early warning system that can detect potential bankruptcy earlier. The purpose of the research is using financial report to predict bankruptcy on mining companies listing in Jakarta Islamic Index. Altman model to assess the company's financial performance to predict the bankruptcy of a mining company accordance Jakarta Islamic Index. The results is companies with good category 13.33%, critical category 33.33% and 53.34% of potential bankruptcy. PT. Indo Tambangraya Tbk. good company in 2011-2012 and three years in critical condition. PT. Adaro Energy Tbk. in 2011 with critical condition and 2012-2015 in the potential bankruptcy category. PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. in 2011 with critical condition and 2012-2015 in the potential bankruptcy category.

Abstract

Materiality is an important concept in accounting and auditing practices that should be applied by accountants in performing their duties. To date, there are no guidance or directions that can be used to accommodate all the needs of accountants to make decisions regarding materiality so that accountants should be able to formulate materiality using professional skills acquired through experience or education. This study aims to know the various quantitative and qualitative factors areconsidered by accountants to formulate materiality and determine whether there is a difference in considering these factors based on experience and the type of Public Accountant Firms. Data were collected by questionnaires distributed to the partners of the Public Accountant Firm in Indonesia. Testing by using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Kruskal-Wallis Analysis of varience of Ranks. The results showed that the accountant uses many factors considered in the formulation of materiality and in general differ in using a number of quantitative factors, but did not differ in the use of the many qualitative factors. This suggests that consideration of materiality is a qualitative judgement but it must be defined in quantitative form. This study contributes to the development of auditing and accounting practices and as an input for decision makers to formulate quantitative materiality in accounting and auditing practice.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of job satisfaction toward employee engagement through psychological ownership as the moderator. Research design used is a cross sectional study of 163 employees. Data is analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. Result shows job satisfaction is able to influence employee engagement significantly through psychological ownership as the mediator. The p=0,000 with significance level 0,05. The sig F change shows 0,006, which is<0,05, therefore mederation effect is significant. Moderation effect also has a better influence than the direct effect. The effect is increasing from 27,2% without moderator to 31,5% with moderator.

Abstract

Quality costs (cost of quality) is the costs arising from the results of a bad product quality. Quality costs are costs associated with the creation, identification, repair and damage prevention. The aim of research to determine the measurement and reporting of quality costs, to be used as a means of cost control and to determine the quality of information from the measurement and reporting of quality costs to be used as a means of controlling the cost of quality in Guyub Santoso UD Blitar. This type of research used in this research is descriptive (descriptive research) Performance report quality costs trend one year from 2012 to 2013 illustrates that the actual quality costs that occurred in 2012 and 2013 amounted Rp.590.245.500,00 and Rp.538.396.500,00, indicating favorable variant in which a decline of Rp.50.849.000,00. Performance report quality costs trend one year from 2013 to 2014 illustrates that the actual quality costs that occurred in 2013 and 2014 amounted Rp.538.396.500.,00 and Rp. 466,431,000.00 showed favorable variant in which a decline of Rp.72.765.500,00 or 13.51%. Measurement of the percentage fees based on the actual quality of the previous period showed adverse variance in abatement costs increased by Rp.72.765.500,00 (13.51%), but the number is still smaller when compared with a decrease of the cost categories of losses on low quality (internal failure costs) where there is a favorable variant of Rp 79,682,500.00 or 31.5%. The results of the overall study, a decrease in total quality costs amounted to 8.61% for the year 2012 to the year 2013 and 13.34% for the years 2013 to 2014. It shows that the cost of quality control conducted by UD Guyub Santoso Blitar been successful in controlling costs relating to the quality, so as to achieve cost efficiencies from year to year, but the conditions should be analyzed further for further analysis can assist management to plan the development and quality control in the years to come.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship course instructional’s objective is to provide in-depth insight and (first-hand experience on how to growing and developing the entrepreneurial spirit. In order to achieve these objectives in the learning process, the student must complete a thematical project is done in roups. The purpose of reseach is determining the level of students who programmed the course Entrepreneurship on duty obtained by involving social support pe-er group and self-control. Research conducted on students of management studies 3rd semester that follows Entrepreneurship Course. Number of subjects who had involved in filling out the questionnaire this study is 102 people. The study was conducted in the academic period even semester 2015 / 2014. The results showed that the peer group involving social support and self-control can simultaneously affect a student's commitment to the task of lecturing Entrepreneurship. But partially obtained different results where, peer group social support can affect a student's commitment to the task of lecturing Entrepreneurship., While the self-control has no effect on the student's commitment to the task of lecturing Entrepreneurship.
