Abstract

Most secondary school students in developing countries have difficulty accessing higher Education after completing secondary Education, especially in Indonesia. The limited number of new job opportunities and the absence of a link and match between the competencies possessed by the workforce and employment have triggered the high Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) of VHS graduates, especially in West Java. This research uses mixed methods where data collection is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. In collecting quantitative data, respondents to this study used data from 341 vocational students at six vocational schools in 5 districts/cities in West Java. Then strengthened by qualitative methods by conducting interviews. First, the thing that most influences the low quality of competitiveness of VHS students is that 21.07% of VHS students in West Java have a low VHS objective score. Second, the Quality of Education, Entrepreneurial Mindset, and Entrepreneurial Intentions simultaneously influence the goals of VHS in West Java Vocational School students, with an F count of 135,773 with a significance level of 0.000. Third, 54.7% of the goals of VHS students in West Java are influenced by the Quality of Education, Entrepreneurial Mindset, and Entrepreneurial Intentions. At the same time, 45.3% is influenced by other variables not analyzed in this study. to increase the competitiveness of VHS students, it is necessary to carry out various intervention efforts starting from the stages of input, process, output, and long-term results in the learning process in schools.

Abstract

The results of PT Gapura Angkasa's 2018-2020 Employee Satisfaction Survey measurements show that the Relationship Variable with direct superiors is the indicator with the lowest level of satisfaction and has a high level of importance for three consecutive years. This study aims to analyze leadership factors in a company that are very important in encouraging employee creativity and innovation to achieve the desired goals or work results. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance which is mediated by the innovative work behavior of employees of PT Gapura Angkasa, and how it influences one another. Quantitative methods were used to collect data by distributing questionnaires and processing the data using the Structural Equation Model with Smart PLS software to test the hypothesis. These results were then deepened to find out the extent of Transformational Leadership practices in the company by conducting interviews with six respondents. The results of this study will show a positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership on innovative work behavior, transformational leadership on employee performance, and the relationship between transformational leadership on employee performance mediated by creative work behavior. Then the results of deepening related to Transformational leadership practices in companies found priority improvements in the Transformational Leadership dimension, namely the Intellectual Stimulation variable. Efforts to increase transformational leadership based on the results of qualitative data are fostering a culture of innovation, enabling employees to embody new ideas, and providing space for employees to innovate and explore creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of musharakah, mudharabah, and murabahah financing on the financial performance of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research. This research uses secondary data in the form of annual financial reports of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the period 2010-2019 sourced from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) website. Through purposive sampling technique, 11 bank samples were obtained which produced 96 observational data. The results of the analysis show that musharakah financing does not affect the financial performance (ROA) of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia, while mudharabah and murabahah financing has a positive and significant effect on the financial performance (ROA) of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia. it is concluded that the greater the value of musharakah financing distributed is not a guarantee that financial performance (ROA) will increase. This is because musharakah financing is financing with a profit-sharing system that has a very high risk where if the company experiences losses, the bank will also bear the loss of business run by entrepreneurs. Nevertheless, Islamic banking is expected to maintain and increase the amount of profit-sharing based financing such as musharakah.

Abstract

Food insecurity is a global issue and its alleviation is stipulated in the 2030 SDGs target 2.1, namely zero hunger and achieving food security for all people. Food insecurity can affect health physically, mentally, socially, and quality of life directly or indirectly due to malnutrition. This study aims to identify the relationship between the level of food insecurity and the health of children under five using an order logit regression model from the March 2021 Susenas data. This study used March 2021 Susenas data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The data used in this study is cross-sectional data at the individual level. The results show that food insecurity, according to the level of severity, is statistically significant and positively related to children's health complaints. Immunization as an important control variable is also statistically significant and positively related to toddler health complaints. Based on the food insecurity level, the order logit regression analysis results prove that food insecurity is significant and has a positive effect on health complaints. Food insecurity occurs not only in low-income household groups but also in high-income household groups.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine and analyze the processing design of individual case safety reports in Indonesia's pharmacovigilance department of vaccine companies. This study combines qualitative and quantitative studies that propose implementing the new artificial intelligence system for the PV Department. The results obtained from this study are problem-solving solutions by increasing the number of staff, using artificial intelligence (AI) technology in AEFI case processing to avoid errors and manual input, and approaching external stakeholders to be able to report safety data efficiently and more structured. With the addition of human resources to process the AEFI reporting data by one person, performance value will be increased to 165%. If the process utilizes AI technology, case processing performance increases to 219%. disruption of the performance of the pharmacovigilance department in Indonesian biopharmaceutical companies can be caused by the pandemic disrupting the way KIPI cases are reported, so the solution is the addition of human resources, changes in processes and SOPs, as well as approaches to external stakeholders to streamline case processing.

Abstract

The increasing number of drug users netted in Indonesia has made prisons and detention centres over capacity. The high number of narcotics cases has filled prisons and detention centres, mainly with those who stumble on narcotics cases. This study aims to describe Islamic punishments for cases of drug users that are relevant, based on benefit and does not cause new polemics. This type of research is library research using a descriptive-analytic method by looking for primary and secondary references related to this study. Based on the results of the analysis, it is stated that sanctions against drug users have so far not yielded good results and have even created several new polemics. Meanwhile, Islamic punishment, ta'zir, is more appropriate and relevant to narcotics users. Ta'zir punishment is preventive, which can prevent a person from getting away from drugs; repressive, which makes offenders deterrent; curative, which can provide changes in the perpetrators; and educative, both for drug offenders and other people. The implementation of Law No. 35 of 2009 on narcotics is still unable to overcome the problem of drug abuse properly, even causing new problems such as exceeded prison capacity, increased state budget burden, and punishments that do not have a positive impact on perpetrators. Islamic punishment, with a more humane and effective approach, can be a viable alternative to address this problem.
