Abstract

Pada masa berlakunya konflik di Aceh, terutama masyarakat yang langsung bersentuhan dengan konflik mengalami kekerasan dalam berbagai bentuk. Konflik selama lebih dari tiga dekade telah menunjukkan adanya ekses terhadap gangguan mental penyintas konflik. Salah satu rekomendasi dari hasil temuan pada penelitian asesmen kebutuhan psikosisal masyarakat Aceh tahun 2007 adalah kebutuhan investasi berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan jangka panjang sistem kesehatan dan kesehatan mental di Aceh. Kesehatan psikologis menjadi kebutuhan masyarakat, mengingat kesehatan fisik dan psikis menentukan kualitas hidup dan produktivitas individu. Kebutuhan ini telah dianalisis  dan dilaksanakan oleh beberapa kota besar di Indonesia, salah satunya Yogyakarta dengan menempatkan layanan psikologi pada pusat layanan kesehatan dasar (Puskesmas), sehingga jangkauan pelayanan kesehatan mental semakin luas serta sistem rujukan dan diagnosis pasien dapat sesuai dengan tahapan seperti pada pelayanan kesehatan fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengidentifikasi masalah dalam pelayanan kesehatan mental masyarakat di Aceh. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini berlokasi di Aceh Utara. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan interview petugas kesehatan di puskesmas dan diskusi kelompok pada masyarakat.  Analisis data menghasilkan gambaran layanan kesehatan mental di Puskesmas.Kata kunci: Pelayanan kesehatan mental, Puskesmas, Aceh Utara

Abstract

Street children tend to rule out education due to economic and environmental factors. Role of parents who are not obtained, making the role of the teacher as a substitute which are believed to motivate children to learn. The aim of this study is to measure relationship of trust in teachers with learning motivation on street children. This study used quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique, involving 44 street children from level III in elementary school to level III in senior high school. The study was conducted at UPTD (Regional Technical Unit) Rumoh Seujahtera Aneuk Nanggroe under the auspices of Social Service of Aceh province. Data collection method used is Trust Scale consists of 15 item with reliability of 0.823 and Learning Motivation Scale consists of 18 item with the reliability of 0.780. Methods of analysis using Pearson correlation technique with coefficient correlation r = 0.319 and p <0.035 (p <0,05). The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between trust in teachers with learning motivation on street children, thus the higher the trust in the teacher, the better the child’s motivation to learn

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku wanita dewasa muda terhadap kanker leher rahim. Survei yang melibatkan 5.423 perempuan di Asia dan dilakukan pada sembilan negara termasuk Indonesia, menunjukkan hanya 2% perempuan yang mengetahui Human Papiloma Virus (HPV) merupakan penyebab kanker leher rahim. Rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan diduga memperburuk kondisi dan kasus kanker leher rahim terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, penelitian ini dilakukan di kota Banda Aceh dengan karakteristik responden adalah wanita dewasa muda, berusia 22-30 tahun dan belum aktif secara seksual. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner tentang pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku terhadap kanker leher rahim. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 269 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, 1) pengetahuan perempuan terhadap kanker leher rahim cukup karena tidak terpapar dengan informasi tentang kanker leher rahim secara maksimal, 2) sikap responden terhadap kanker leher rahim tergolong positif. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh pengetahuan yang cukup, namun perilaku terhadap kanker leher rahim belum sesuai dengan perilaku pencegahan kanker leher rahim.

Abstract

This case study research aimed to see the resilience of women victims of rape. Four respondents are women rape victims who lived in Aceh and were selected using purposeful sampling and snowball sampling methods. Snowball sampling based on certain parties who know the source and location of the repondents. Data were collected using interviews and observation methods. Data analysis was performed with a theme per-subject analysis. Data were analyzed by interpreting and summing up the results of the interview each respondent. Interview guide was developed based on the aspects of resilience by Bonanno (2004). The results showed that resilience of four subjects are different.Keywords: Resilience, Rape, Women Victims of rape

Abstract

Abstract. Throughout the course of history and culture, courage is considered a high value of goodness because it can help people to be able to face the challenges of their lives. Moral courage is a form of courage involving behavioral expression by conveying inconvenience to disputes, reproaches, and rejection. It has been a concern for the past two decades because teachers and schools are constantly faced with normative problems,  violence in a school and student  are sometimes seems to have lost their way when dealing with norms and values. The purpose of this research is to know how the dynamics of moral courage to the teacher. Data in this research is obtained by using qualitative research method with case study design. Subject selection using purposive sampling technique. Respondent to this research is a teacher who has wrestle his profession for 10 years. Data collection research by interview. The results of this study indicate that the respondents have had five aspects of moral courage that is, the presence and recognition of the moral situation, moral choice, behavior, individuality, and fear.Keyword: Moral Courage, Teacher, Case StudyAbstrak. Sepanjang perjalanan sejarah dan budaya, keberanian dinilai sebagai sebuah nilai kebaikan yang tinggi karena dapat membantu orang-orang untuk mampu menghadapi tantangan hidup mereka. Keberanian moral merupakan salah satu bentuk keberanian yang melibatkan ekspresi perilaku dengan menyampaikan ketidaknyamanan atas pertikaian, celaan, dan penolakan. Telah menjadi kekhawatiran selama dua dekade terakhir dikarenakan guru dan sekolah yang terus menerus dihadapkan pada permasalahan normatif, kekerasan di sekolah dan siswa yang terkadang tampak telah kehilangan araha mereka ketika berhadapan dengan hal yang berkaitan dengan norma dan nilai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana dinamika keberanian moral pada guru. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pemilihan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Responden pada penilitian ini merupakan seorang guru yang telah menggeluti profesinya selama 10 tahun. Pengumpulan data penelitian dengan cara wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa responden telah memiliki lima aspek keberanian moral yaitu, kehadiran dan pengenalan terhadap situasi moral, pilihan moral, perilaku, individualitas, dan rasa takut.Kata kunci : Keberanian Moral, Guru, Studi Kasus

Abstract

Street children tend to ignore educational demand as a result of economical and environmental factor. The absence of parent role put the teacher as a reliable substitute in motivating the children to learn. This study was led to investigate the relationship between trust in teacher and learning motivation of street children. The study used quantitative method by purposive sampling involving 44 street children from third grade of elementary school to third grade of upper secondary school. UPTD (Regional Technical Implementer Unit) Rumoh Seujahtera Aneuk Nanggroe under Dinas Sosial Provinsi Aceh (Social Department of Aceh) auspice. Data collecting method used Trust Scale with reliability of 0,832 and Learning Motivation Scale with reliability of 0,780. Analysis method used Pearson correlation technique which resulted in correlation coefficient r=0,319 and  p0,035 (p0,05). The result revealed significant positive relationship between trust in teacher and learning motivation of street children. Higher trust in teacher would be followed by better learning motivation of street children.Keywords: Trust, learning motivation, street children

Abstract

Belief plays an important role in many aspects of teaching, it influences the way of teachers to make decisions and actions in the classroom. What teachers believe about teaching-learning becomes central to determining their actual behavior towards students and education in general. This study aims to find the beliefs of teachers about their profession. The data were collected by in-depth interview of three different subject teachers at SMA 6 Lhokseumawe. The study found that teachers' beliefs cannot always take into practice. Teachers believe that they are the key stakeholder for bringing better education, unfortunately, context and situation like educational system is a big dilemma for teachers to put their beliefs into classroom practice. The result of this study also revealed that all of the teachers are committed to their profession; two participants confessed that they never dreamt of being a teacher but they decided to be a teacher because of some reasons. Besides, all participants have committed not to shift their profession someday.

Abstract

The use of smartphones is a basic necessity at this time, but excessive use can lead a bad impact, one of them is smartphones addiction. Smartphone addiction is a form of attachment to smartphones that allows social problems such as withdrawal and daily disturbance. This study aims to determine the level of smartphone addiction on society in Banda Aceh. Using a quantitative design with a survey method, the respondents of this study were 500 people, with sample collection techniques using unrestricted self-selected surveys. Research data collection was obtained using adaptation the Smartphone Addiction Scale Short Version (SAS-SV) by Kwon, dkk. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the level of smartphone addiction in the population on Banda Aceh society not much different, there are 51.4% subjects with low smartphone addiction levels and 48.6% subjects with high smartphone addiction levels. Chi Square test results showed that there are several demographic variables that contributed to smartphone addiction level (p<0.05), age, education level, occupation, duration of smartphone use on single day, and frequency of smartphone check on single day.

Abstract

Perempuan umumnya mengalami gejala-gejala menopause yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana dinamika kualitas hidup perempuan menopause. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi. Hasil analisis data penelitian diperoleh bahwa kualitas hidup wanita menopause dipengaruhi oleh faktor usia dan juga hubungan dengan orang lain. Temuan lainnya, semasa menopause, perempuan memiliki beberapa keluhan dalam fisiknya. Salah satu kuallitas hidup yang baik adalah memiliki hubungan sosial atau kedekatan bersama keluarganya, responden dekat dengan anak dan suaminya, karena bagi responden keluarga adalah orang yang dapat dipercaya.

Abstract

Happiness is the expectation for every person including teenager. However, parental divorce may have impact on teenagers’ happiness. The aim of this study is to know happiness in teenager whose parents divorced. Data for this research were obtained using qualitative method with case study design. Subject was selected using purposive sampling technique. The respondent was a male teenager with divorced parents. Data collection was carried out through interview. The results showed that the respondent had three aspects of happiness are life is pleasant, meaningful, and engaging.
