Abstract

TikTok is a popular application among young people. TikTok was an application initially launched in China before landing in Indonesia at the end of 2017. Unfortunately, the popularity of TikTok stems from personal lack of self-image, for example wearing sexy clothes, dancing in erotic and inappropriate moves. This is based on many positive and negative comments from TikTok users. So we need a way to automatically classify reviews through sentiment analysis. The purpose of this study is to classify TikTok user comments on Google Play Store using Naive Bayes and C4.5 algorithms. This study used 1330 data, of which 602 data were negative and 728 data were positive. The results show that the Naive Bayes algorithm produces accuracy values ​​of 79.00%, 79.00% precision, 78.00% recall, and 78.00% F1 score. The C4.5 algorithm produces 68.00% accuracy, 68.00% precision, 68.00% recall, and 68.00% F1 score. We can conclude that the Naive Bayes algorithm is the best algorithm compared to the C4.5 algorithm. The Naive Bayes algorithm achieves an accuracy value of 79.00%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of fly ash as an adsorbent that has been activated and to determine the optimum conditions of fly ash adsorbent to reduce the COD value of pulp and paper wastewater. The characteristics of water content, ash and iodine number were tested. The quality of fly ash adsorbent is done by determining the optimum pH, mass and time. The variations of pH 4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10, mass 0.5 g, 1 g, 1.5 g, and 2 g and contact time variations are 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes and 60 minutes. This research method uses experimental method with Complete Randomized Design analysis by conducting Anova test and Duncan's further test.  The results showed that the test results of the characteristics of water content, ash and iodine number have met SNI 06-3730-1995 regarding technical activated charcoal. The optimum conditions obtained during adsorption consisting of optimum pH was found at pH 4 with % Removal COD as much as 18.1%, the optimum mass obtained was 1 gram with % Removal COD as much as 24.8%, while the optimum time obtained was 15 minutes with % Removal COD as much as 20.38%. The adsorption results show that the decrease in COD of pulp and paper wastewater is still not effective in accordance with PermenLH No. 5 of 2014.

Abstract

Hospitals are one of the places that produce waste, one of which is infectious medical waste. Infectious waste is an object that is then categorised as waste after contact with pathogenic organisms that have the potential to transmit disease to humans. Hospital waste management is needed for the comfort and cleanliness of the hospital environment, because it can prevent health problems. The first objective of this study was to evaluate the suitability of infectious medical waste management at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) H. Abdul Manap Jambi City with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2019 concerning Hospital Environmental Health which regulates all forms of activities and health in the hospital environment. The second objective was to determine infectious medical waste management strategies using the SWOT analysis method to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that exist, so that strategies can be determined to optimise the management of infectious medical waste. The results of the research obtained are that there are several stages in the management of infectious medical waste that are not in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2019. Then, based on the results of the SWOT analysis, it is known that the IFAS and EFAS values for infectious medical waste management at RSUD H. Abdul Manap Jambi City are in quadrant I, which explains that the strategy that must be used to optimise medical waste management is the S-O strategy. The S-O strategy is a strategy that relies on strengths and opportunities, so the implementation of this S-O strategy is structured based on the strengths and opportunities possessed by the H. Abdul Manap Hospital Jambi City in carrying out infectious medical waste management.

Abstract

Lately, the field of computer science has become increasingly popular among young people who wish to enter the academic world. Graduates from the computer science department are often rumored to become the most sought-after experts in the future. As students begin their academic journey, they will inevitably encounter various programming languages as tools for their studies. As an introduction, professors typically initiate the learning process with popular programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++. In this context, I will analyze various journals and provide answers as to why C++ can be considered an option for students who want to start learning programming.

Abstract

Android is one of the most popular mobile operating systems (OS) in the world. This operating system was first released in 2008 and has undergone rapid development over the years. One of the factors that contributed to the success of Android is its support for multimedia. The Android operating system has demonstrated its ability to run a variety of multimedia applications, such as music players, video players, cameras, and photo galleries. In addition, Android has become a pioneer in multimedia for humanity because of its ability to deliver high-quality and easy-to-use multimedia content. As the author of this literature review, I hope that the results of this study can provide a deeper understanding of the role of Android as a pioneer in multimedia for humanity. I also hope that this study can contribute to the understanding of the history of Android and its continued relevance today.

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology at a time when the educational paradigm is changing serves as the driving force behind this study. This study aims to assess how AI adoption affects higher education students' learning. The research examines literature on the application of AI in higher education in order to accomplish this aim. The findings demonstrate that the application of AI technology has the potential to improve the efficacy of learning through the personalization of the learning process, the development of students' future-ready abilities, and the creation of a more flexible learning environment. Thus, AI in higher education creates a wealth of chances for creative thinking in the classroom. However, in order to combine technology with fundamental educational concepts, ethical concerns and accountability are necessary.

Abstract

The content of Al and Fe in coal fly ash has underpinned several studies on the use of coal fly ash as a coagulant and adsorbent. Coal fly ash coagulant was activated with H2SO4. While coal fly ash adsorbent is activated with HCl. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the  coagulant  or  as   adsorbent,  to determine the optimum concentration of coagulant/ adsorbent addition, and to determine the effectiveness of fly ash as a coagulant/ adsorbent in reducing COD and TSS in Pulp and Paper wastewater. This research used 2 treatments, activating coal fly ash with 2M H2SO4 and 4M HCl, and then comparing the effect of fly ash coagulants and adsorbents in reducing COD and TSS wastewater. The results showed that coagulant reduced COD by 53.23% and TSS by 60.1%, more effective  than  adsorbent  which  only reduced COD by 6.38%, and increased TSS value by 7.2%. However, it has not yet below the quality standards. Numerical  analysis  using  3rd  order polynomials shows that doses of 41,000-42,000 ppm of coagulant can reduce COD below the quality standard. This concludes is coal fly ash coagulant is effective in reducing COD and TSS of pulp and paper wastewater, with the optimal dose to reduce COD below the quality standard, is 41,000 - 42,000 ppm.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence is a system developed in research and capable of innovation, mimicking a machine or computer, that has intelligence equal to or greater than humans, that adapts, makes decisions cognitively, and learns. Specifically, we will explore various aspects of education, including management, teaching, and learning, and determine how artificial intelligence will impact education. This research utilizes a retrospective approach technique that consists of collecting data and secondary materials or conducting surveys. We help explain research and development by using, theory, and empirical data to demonstrate and discuss educational approaches that impact artificial information, such as the H-index. The analysis also identifies other important themes and how artificial intelligence will impact teacher work standards and improve academic integrity. Another important finding from various sources is that, as educational resources are now accessible via the Internet, teachers are using the platform to perform certain administrative tasks.

Abstract

This research focuses on the consequences of advances in Artificial Intelligence Systems on management practices in the coming decade. Much of the attention revolves around comparisons between replacement and upgrading in the context of Artificial Intelligence and the world of work. According to previous studies, machine learning tools are not only able to replace certain tasks, but can also complement human decision-making capabilities. Based on interviews with semi-structured experts, the study provides an early indication that this may be especially true for managers at the top levels of organizations. However, operational and middle managers may experience a more limited impact, with the possibility that most of their tasks can be replaced. As routine supervisory and administrative tasks are automated, there appears to be a shift toward focusing on interpersonal leadership tasks for many managers. There are two future scenarios that can be illustrated to illustrate the impact of Artificial Intelligence on management. On the other hand, the role of algorithmic management is recognized as a crucial element in the coming decade, especially with the continued growth in the platform economy. Given its potential in replacing operational manager duties, further research into the fairness of algorithmic management becomes a must.

Abstract

In the ever-growing digital era, social media has become an integral part of business marketing strategies. Instagram, as one of the leading social media platforms, offers great opportunities for companies to promote their products and services. This research aims to analyze the role of Instagram as a marketing tool and to evaluate its effectiveness in achieving marketing goals. The method in this research uses System Literature Review (SLR). The results of this research reveal that Instagram can be a very effective marketing tool, especially in creating high interaction and engagement with the audience.
