Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. AIS is important in improving operational efficiency, transparency, and accuracy of MSME financial data, which ultimately supports strategic decision-making and business competitiveness. However, implementing AIS in SMEs faces various challenges, such as low financial literacy, limited access to technology, and difficulties in integrating new systems with existing business practices. This study identifies key factors in AIS implementation, including the type of system used, the role of stakeholders, perceived benefits, and integration of AIS with other systems. The results show that successful AIS implementation depends on understanding local needs, access to formal financing, and social support. With the growing digitalization, SMEs have an excellent opportunity to improve their performance through proper AIS adoption. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a strategic guide for the future development of SMEs.

Abstract

This study analyzes the market response to the change in auto rejection policy from 15% to symmetric auto rejection implemented by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020-2023. This policy aims to maintain market stability and protect investors from extreme price fluctuations. This study uses a quantitative method with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test to analyze differences in abnormal returns and trading volume before and after implementing the policy. The sample consists of 48 companies listed on the IDX for 3 periods, selected purposively from various sectors. The results showed significant differences in both variables. The market response to abnormal returns showed a positive signal, while trading volume reflected an adverse reaction, illustrating the negative market sentiment towards this policy. This finding confirms that policy changes have a significant impact on investor behavior. The author advises investors to conduct in-depth fundamental and technical analysis to understand the entire policy and minimize the risk of loss in making investment decisions.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of implementing the Village Financial System  (SISKEUDES) in improving accountability and transparency to prevent fraud in three villages in the Kalumpang sub-district, Mamuju district. Using mixed method research combines quantitative analysis through regression and qualitative approaches with interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that transparency significantly influenced fraud prevention (p < 0.001), while accountability also contributed, although with a more minor influence. SISKEUDES is proven to facilitate the recording and reporting of village finances, increase public trust, and reduce the potential for fund protection. However, there are still obstacles to understanding the system and technological infrastructure that need to be improved.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of green accounting, intellectual capital, and corporate social responsibility on Indonesia's energy companies' financial performance. The research was conducted on energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2023. The independent variables used in this study are green accounting, green intellectual capital, and corporate social responsibility, while the dependent variable is financial performance. This research employs multiple regression analysis with observations from 2021 to 2023. The data used in this study were obtained from financial statements and sustainability reports. This research found that green accounting, intellectual capital, and corporate social responsibility do not significantly impact financial performance. This suggests that energy sector companies have not fully prioritized environmental sustainability and social responsibility in managing their operations.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the evolution of internal audit, focusing on identifying the most productive and cited articles, authors, countries, and institutions on this topic. The study used bibliometric analysis with VOSviewer software based on Scopus data, covering 490 articles published from 2017–2023. Data was collected using the "internal audit" keyword and analyzed to identify publication trends, author collaborations, and citation patterns. The results showed that the number of publications on internal audits continues to increase, with 2020 being the most productive year, with 80 articles (16.33%). The United States leads in the number of articles and citations, followed by Malaysia and other countries. Authors such as Eulerich Marc and institutions such as Brigham Young University are among the most productive in this study. The article " Influence of Audit Committee and Internal Audit Function Effectiveness on Enterprise Risk Management Adoption" by Callahan et al. is the most cited. The implications of this study show the importance of the evolution of the role of internal audit in risk management, control, and organizational governance, especially in the era of digitalization. Then, for further research evolution, other software and visualization methods can be used besides VOSviewers, such as CiteSpace or Gephi, to provide more comprehensive insights into the structure of internal audit research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy and financial digitalization on the profitability of MSMEs registered with the Palu City Business Incubator (INBIS) in the 2023-2024 period. Given the crucial role of MSMEs in the local economy and the challenges related to financial literacy and digitalization adoption, this study seeks to provide empirical evidence. A quantitative approach with descriptive and causal methods was used, involving 30 MSMEs through a census to obtain comprehensive data. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression. The results showed that financial literacy significantly affected MSME profitability, making a greater contribution than financial digitalization. Financial digitalization also had a positive impact, although its contribution was relatively smaller. Simultaneously, financial literacy and financial digitalization significantly affected MSME profitability. These findings emphasize the importance of a combination of good financial literacy and adoption of digital technology. The implication is that the government and INBIS need to design a sustainable integrated training program to improve MSME digital financial literacy. MSMEs are advised to actively utilize digital financial platforms and improve their understanding of financial management. Financial institutions are expected to develop products according to MSME needs and provide more effective financial education. This research provides insights for stakeholders in supporting the growth of MSMEs through increasing literacy and digital transformation, which ultimately contributes to regional economic stability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Business Incubator assistance as a mediator between financial literacy and financial performance in SMEs assisted by the Palu City Business Incubator. Using a quantitative approach with path analysis techniques, data were obtained through a survey of fostered SMEs. The results showed that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial performance but has no positive effect on mentoring, and mentoring also shows no significant effect on financial performance. These findings indicate that financial literacy directly contributes to improved financial performance without being mediated by mentoring. This study suggests that mentoring programs be designed more specifically to improve financial literacy so that the success of SMEs can be optimized through the synergy between strong financial literacy and relevant mentoring.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development and trends of research in forensic auditing through a bibliometric approach using VOSviewer software. Focusing on publications from 2012 to 2024, the study evaluates key themes, collaborations between researchers, and the relationship between methodology and geographic context. The method used is bibliometric analysis with a network visualization, overlay, and density approach, which maps keywords from related literature to identify thematic patterns and associations. The results of the study show three main thematic clusters. The first cluster highlights the relationship between forensic auditing and economic development, focusing on methodologies and contributions to economic growth. The second cluster emphasizes an empirical approach that uses primary and secondary data to evaluate the influence of certain variables in forensic audits. The third cluster focuses on the local context, particularly Indonesia, focusing on the application of technology in detecting and preventing economic crimes. The overlay visualization also reveals the evolution of research themes, from early conceptual issues such as "economy" and "methodology" to applicable topics such as "technology" and "crime." The study found that collaboration between researchers, institutions, and countries is crucial in expanding the scope of research and integrating technological innovations such as blockchain and data mining. These findings provide in-depth insights into trends, research gaps, and opportunities for future exploration, helping to strengthen the role of forensic audits in supporting financial transparency and accountability.
