Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of physical education, sports, and health education in public middle schools. This type of research is called qualitative research. The evaluation was conducted involving 20 PJOK teachers spread across various public middle schools in Makassar City. We used observation and in-depth interviews as data collection techniques. Observations were conducted to directly observe the learning process in the classroom, while interviews were conducted to explore information related to experiences, obstacles, and teachers' views on the implementation of PJOK learning. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques with the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the study showed that, although most teachers had implemented PJOK learning well, several major obstacles were found, namely limited sports facilities and limited time for practicum implementation. Based on these findings, the study recommends the need to improve PJOK teacher training, improve sports facilities and infrastructure, and add time for practicum learning in order to improve the quality of PJOK learning in public middle schools in Makassar City.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between education and health knowledge, specifically in terms of service quality and premium amount, in the context of BPJS health in Makassar, using participant satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study employs a quantitative methodology, utilizing structural equation modeling (SEM) based on Smart-PLS. We collected data by administering questionnaires to 100 BPJS Kesehatan participants. We collected data by distributing online questionnaires through the Google Forms platform to participants who satisfied the research criteria. We conducted inferential statistical analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the assistance of Smart-PLS analysis software. The results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between the education and knowledge of BPJS participants and their utilization of health services. Service quality has a significant effect on the level of collectibility and participant satisfaction. Higher service quality, such as efficiency, responsiveness, and professionalism, increases participant satisfaction, which in turn increases payment compliance. In addition, although the premium amount does not directly affect the level of collectibility, it significantly affects participant satisfaction. Perceived fair or affordable premiums enhance satisfaction, thereby mediating the influence on collectibility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how brand authenticity, physical attractiveness, and green trust, depending on the level of education, influence consumer purchase decisions at Fore Coffee. The study employs a causal-comparative research approach, incorporating structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. We used purposive sampling as the sampling technique. This resulted in a sample size of 100 respondents. The study collected primary data by distributing an online questionnaire via Google Forms to respondents who met the study's criteria. The findings of the research indicate that the level of education and brand authenticity significantly influence both green trust and purchase decisions. Additionally, the physical attractiveness of the product impacts purchase decisions through the lens of green trust. The study concludes that the values of authenticity, the physical attractiveness of the product, and the consistency of transparent sustainability claims shape purchase decisions, with levels of education and green trust playing a crucial role.

Abstract

This study intends to determine the effect of education on the Family Welfare Card Service and to determine the other factors besides education that influence the Family Welfare Card service. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research design. This research focuses on individuals from diverse educational backgrounds residing in Mangempang Village, Barru District, and Barru Regency. The research uses observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The data analysis used is an interactive qualitative analysis model, including the stages of data collection, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the level of community education has a positive impact on the Family Welfare Card service in Mangempang Village, Barru District, Barru Regency; each beneficiary family has different levels of satisfaction related to the Family Welfare Card service depending on the good or negative aspects of their experience as KKS recipients. Beneficiary families feel that the services provided by the government in this KKS program are satisfactory and the assistance can meet the needs of the beneficiary community. Additionally, the Family Welfare Card Program service is influenced by two factors: supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include the community's enthusiasm for socialization and the effective coordination among the involved officers. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include a lack of knowledge about access to aid recipients, inconsistent and inaccurate KKS recipient data, limited human resources, low public understanding, and social jealousy due to low levels of education in the community.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of animated video learning media to enhance students' understanding of ablution procedures. Utilizing the ADDIE development model, the research was conducted at Public Middle School Palopo with 25 seventh-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, expert validation, student questionnaires, and performance tests. The development process involved designing and validating the animated video, with a focus on its content, language, and media quality. Validation results indicated high validity scores: 96% for content, 88% for language, and 72% for media design. After revisions, the media was tested for effectiveness, revealing a significant improvement in students' comprehension, with an average performance score of 91.43%. The animated video successfully demonstrated detailed, systematic, and engaging representations of ablution practices, aligning with students' cognitive developmental stages and addressing the limitations of traditional teaching methods. This research emphasizes the possible use of multimedia learning tools to support religious education, particularly for practical topics that require visual demonstrations. Future studies are encouraged to explore broader applications and assess long-term retention of knowledge facilitated by such media.

Abstract

Students in primary school must think mathematically. However, classroom research shows that students' fraction reasoning is low and teachers' instructional materials don't permit higher-order thinking. This highlights the need for a more relevant and meaningful textbook that matches students' learning patterns. Therefore, this study develops and tests a fractions textbook based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) using Luwu tourism to improve primary students' reasoning skills. Two teaching experiment cycles were used for R&D. A total of 23 fifth graders and one teacher from Primary School 5 Tarabbi Indah participated in the study. Expert validation sheets, reasoning rubrics, examinations, and instructor/student questionnaires were used. Research included needs analysis, textbook design, expert validation, first-cycle field testing, product change, second-cycle field testing, and retrospective analysis. Data were descriptively investigated using validation, reasoning, user responses, and cycle comparisons. The findings indicated that the textbook was highly legitimate in content, construct, language, and contextual alignment, according to experts. The first cycle teacher gave 3.8, and the second gave 3.9, while students gave 3.63 and 3.44 in the “practical” category. The textbook worked, as sufficient and very competent reasoning skills increased from 47.8% in the first cycle to 69.6% in the second. Understanding information, evaluating tactics, and presenting mathematical arguments improved. The textbook modifications made these improvements possible by simplifying directions, illustrations, and key subjects. This work improves contextual RME-based teaching materials conceptually and practically. The textbook can assist primary school teachers and schools in planning meaningful, relevant fraction instruction that promotes higher-order thinking.
