Abstract

This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions of farming families in Rawi Village. This study used descriptive method, with sample are farmers amounting to 23 people.Data collection using observation, interview and documentation techniques.Data analysis using quantitative data analysis technique percentage.The result of this research shows that the farmers' land is included in the medium category with the land of 0,50 -0.99 Ha (47.82%). Farmers' farming capital comes from their own, labor is mostly from outside the family, income from underproduction is below the average of Rp.1.567.391 per month. Most of the total income earned by farmers is above Rp.1.033.250. -per month per family, with a large number of family dependents while the ownership of valuables is medium.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga petani penggarap di Desa Rawi.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan sampel adalah petani penggarap yang berjumlah 23 orang.Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif persentase.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan lahan petani termasuk kedalam kategori sedang seluas 0,50 -0,99 Ha (47.82%). Modal usaha berasal dari milik sendiri, tenaga kerja berasal dari luar keluarga, pendapatan dari pekerjaan sampingan di bawah rata-rata Rp.1.567.391 per bulan.Sebagian besar pendapatan total petani penggarap di atas rata-rata Rp.1.033.250 ,-per bulan, dengan jumlah tanggungan keluarga yang banyak sedangkan kepemilikan barang berharga tergolong sedang.Kata Kunci: kemiskinan, lahan, petani

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate what geographic teacher constraints in providing material of Natural Disaster Mitigation are, considering this is a new material in geography subject. In this research, the main thing emphasized was the teacher constraints in mastering the material, teacher constraints in applying method and also the instructional media. This study was descriptive qualitative research. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar with geographic teacher class of XI IPS as the main subject. Data collecting technique used in this research were interview and documentation. The result of the study showed that the teacher still found difficulties in mastering the material because there was lack of others literature besides teacher and student handbook. The teacher also found difficulties in using instructional media because there was an assumption that the class would not be conducive, as well as in using media, the teacher was lack of the ability in mastering projector use as a device  to display media visually.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apa saja kendala guru Geografi dalam memberikan materi Mitigasi Bencana Alam. Mengingat materi ini merupakan materi baru dalam mata pelajaran Geografi. Dalam penelitian hal yang ditekankan yaitu kendala guru dalam  penguasaan materi, kendala guru dalam pengaplikasian metode dan juga media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskripti yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar dengan subyek utama penelitian guru Geografi kelas XI IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru masih terkendala dalam penguasaan materi karena kurangnya literature lain selain buku pegangan guru dan siswa. Guru juga masih terkendala dalam menggunakan metode pembelajaran karena menganggap kelas akan jadi tidak kondusif, begitu juga dengan media guru kurang menguasai cara menggunakan proyektor sebagai alat untuk menampilkan media secara visual.Kata kunci: kendala guru, media pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran

Abstract

The objectives of this reseach were to investigate social economic characteristic of woman as the family head in Tanjung Karang Pusat Kota Bandar Lampung city year 2016, the poin of this investigation is on the age, level of education, home ownership, the number of children, occupation, level of income, and the levelfulfillment of minimum basic needs. This research used thedescriptive method. Population of research many as 42 of women as head of the family and all as respondent.Data collectied by observation, structured interview, and documentation. Data analyzed by table frequency. Thestudy results showed that: (1) 95,24% respodents are in productive age (2) 76,20% repodents are basic educated of elementary and junior school(3) 64,28% respondents has large children(4) 95,24% respondents have their own house(5) 69,04% work as are traders (6) 83,33% respondents had low income (7) 80,96% ar not met the basic needs.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji karakteristik sosial ekonomi wanita sebagai kepala keluarga di Kecamatan Tanjung Karang Pusat Kota Bandar Lampung tahun 2016, titik tekan kajian pada umur, tingkat pendidikan, status kepemilikan rumah, jumlah anak, jenis pekerjaan, tingkat pendapatan, dan tingkat pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok minimum. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 42 wanita kepala keluarga dan semua menjadi responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan tabel frekuensi persentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) 95,24% responden tergolong usia produktif, (2) 76,20% responden berpendidikan dasar SD dan SMP, (3) 64,28% responden memiliki banyak anak, (4) 95,24% responden memiliki rumah sendiri, (5) 69,04% bekerja sebagai pedagang, (6) 83,33% responden berpendapatan rendah, (7) 80,96%tidak terpenuhi kebutuhan pokoknya.Kata kunci: ekonomi, sosial, wanita kepala keluarga

Abstract

This Study was aimed to find out Social and economic condition of bagan fisherman in Kota Karang Village, East Teluk Betung Subdistrict, Bandar lampung in 2016. Descriptive method was used in this study. There were 612 heads of family as the population with 10% of them were taken as the sample that is 61 heads of family. To collect the data, observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation were used. The data were analyzed by percentage table.The Result showed that (1) The education level of the heads of family was still low with average graduates of elementary school and junior high school. (2) The age of the heads of family belonged to productive category. (3) The number of family dependants was indicated as a small family with the number of dependants which as less than 5. (4) Labor and trader turned to be side jobs done by fisherman. (5) The income level of bagan fisherman was low which was below avarege of income obtained by the whole fisherman.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui keadaan sosial ekonomi keluarga nelayan bagan di kelurahan Kota karang Kecamatan Teluk Betung Timur Kota Bandar Lampung tahun 2016.Penelitain ini mengguankan metode deskriptif.Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 612 orang, sampel 10% atau 61 orang.Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi.Data dianalisis dengan tabel persentase.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tingkat pendidikan kepala keluarga nelayan bagan masih rendah. (2) Umur kepala keluarga nelayan bagan masih terbilang produktif. (3) Jumlah tanggungan kepala keluarga nelayan bagan merupakan keluarga kecil dengan jumlah tanggungan kurang dari 5. (4) sebagian nelayan bagan memliki pekerjaan sampingan yaitu sebagai kuli, tukang ojek dan berdagang. (5) pendapatan nelayan bagan tergolong rendah dengan pendapatan dibawah rata-rata pendapatan nelayan.Kata Kunci: nelayan, nelayan bagan, sosial ekonomi

Abstract

This study aimed to know the growth of residential areas in Balik Bukit District Lampung Barat Regency in 2005 up to 2014. Method in research was descriptive method. Data collection technique was documentation. Analysis technique in research was map analysis. This researchs result indicated that: 1) the changes of residential areas in the last 10 years are up to 279 hectare or 62,69%. 2) settlement pattern found is clustered. 3) direction a the growth of settlement since 2005 to 2014 is more dominant to North.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan daerah pemukiman di Kecamatan Balik Bukit Kabupaten Lampung Barat pada tahun 2005 sampai dengan tahun 2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dokumentasi. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis peta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Perubahan luas daerah pemukiman dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun sebesar 279 hektar atau 62,69%. 2) Pola pemukiman yang terjadi adalah pola pemukiman mengelompok. 3) Arah perkembangan pemukiman yang terjadi sejak tahun 2005 sampai tahun 2014 lebih cenderung ke arah Utara.Kata kunci: perkembangan, daerah pemukiman, pemukiman

Abstract

The research aimed to know and analyse the difference of learning outcome of geography by demonstration method and lecture method and to know the effect of the demonstration method implementation through the learning outcome. The method used was quasi experimental. The subject of the researsh was the student of grade X IPS of Metro 3 rd senior high school. The research conducted by four times meetings. The object of the research were the implementation of demonstration method dan lecture method and there was an effect of demonstration method implementation through the learning outcome of geography. To the teachers and the prospective teachers are adviced to implement the demonstration method in the class.Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui dan menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar geografi metode demonstrasi dan metode ceramah dan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 3 Metro. Penelitian dilakukan dengan empat kali pertemuan. Objek penelitian adalah penggunaan metode demonstrasi dan metode ceramah terhadap hasil beajar geografi. Analisis data menggunakan t-test dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada perbedaan hasil belajar geografi dengan metode demonstrasi dan metode ceramah serta terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar geografi, disarankan kepada guru dan calon guru geografi untuk menerapkan metode demonstrasi di kelas.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, metode ceramah, dan metode demonstrasi.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there are differences between learning outcomes of the tenth grade social students taught by using the Thinking Pair Share learning model and the Take and Give learning model in SMAN 1 Banjit. The population in this study is tenth grade social students with 104 students. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used is learning outcome test. Data were analyzed by using t test. The results are the learning outcomes presented by using the Take and Give model are better than the learning outcomes presented by using the Thinking Pair Share (TPS) model on Geography subjects in SMAN 1 Banjit.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPS yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Thinking Pair Share dan model pembelajaran Take and Give di SMA N 1 Banjit. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS yang berjumlah 104 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar.Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar yang disajikan menggunakan model Take and Give lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar yang disajikan dengan model Thinking Pair Share (TPS) pada mata pelajaran Geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Banjit.Kata kunci: Hasil belajar, tps, take and give.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out information on farmers’ income on the use irrigation farming in Tejosari District, East Metro, Metro City in 2012. This study focused on (1) the land area for farming, (2) the amount of farmers’ working capital to do agriculture, (3) farmers’ income on the use of irrigation farming.The researcher used descriptive method for this research. The population was 222 family heads of irrigation farming farmers, while the samples were 30% which were 66 family heads. As the data collecting technique, the researcher used observation, documentation, and a structured interview.The results of research: (1) In a farmer rice cultivation, there were 25 (37,88%)  farmers who cultivated the average area of 0,64 ha, and there were 19 (39,58%) farmers in the average area of  0,61 ha who cultivated other plants excluding rice. (2) To cultivate rice, there were 65 (98,48%) farmers who used capital working for rice cultivation which was about Rp 1.363.504, and there were 46 (95,84%) farmers who used capital working for other cultivation which was about  Rp 650.361. (3) There were 46 (69,7%) farmers whose total income was about Rp 447.101 per month. Keywords: land area, capital working, and income

Abstract

This research was aimed to find out (1) The difference between students' study result that used cooperative learning model of make a match type and students' study result that used conventional learning model, (2) The effect of using cooperative learning model activities of make a match type on the students' learning achievement. This research used quasi experiment method. The populations of this research were the students of class VII 3 and class VII 4. Analysis data techniques that used in this research were t-test and analysis of simple linear regresion. The result showed (1) There was a difference between students' study result that used cooperative learning model of make a match type and students' result study that used conventional learning model, (2) There was an effect of using cooperative learning model activities of make a match type on the students' learning achievement.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dengan hasil belajar yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) pengaruh aktivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode eskperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII 3 dan kelas VII 4. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian (1) ada perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) ada pengaruh aktivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci:pembelajaran kooperatif, model make a match, hasil belajar ips geografi

Abstract

This research aimed to find out correlation between university students perceptions about value of children and family program planning with the number of children desired.This research used descriptive method. Population in this research was university students of Geography Education Study Program University of Lampung academic year 2010/2011 to 2013/2014 consisted of 352 students. Sample of this research were 78 students. Result of the research showed that there was a correlation between university students perceptions about value of children with the number of children desired, there was no correlation between university students perceptions about family planning with the number of children desired, and there was a correlation between perceptions of university student of Geography Education Study Program University of Lampung about value of children and family program with the number of children desired.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa tentang nilai anak dan program keluarga berencana dengan jumlah anak yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Lampung tahun akademik 2010/2011 s/d 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 352 orang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak78mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa tentang nilai anak dengan jumlah anak yang diinginkan,tidak terdapat hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa tentang program keluarga berencana dengan jumlah anak yang diinginkan, danterdapat hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Lampung tentang nilai anak dan program keluarga berencana dengan jumlah anak yang diinginkan.Kata kunci: jumlah anak, keluarga berencana, nilai anak.
