Abstract

The Tayan River dock is a river port that supports the loading and unloading of passengers and goods via the river route, with purpose to improving the standard of living and economy of the community. The condition of the dock during the initial survey required physical improvement and enhancement of the dock and its supporting facilities. The aim of this article is to review the work of the dock on the elevation position above the dock (EAD) and the highest and lowest water levels for each type of dock. The method used is a direct observation of the physical work of loading and unloading docks, dolphin docks, and sampan docks. Based on EAD and water level conditions, it is planned for a maximum of 1.000 Dead Weight Tonnage (DWT) ships at the loading and unloading docks and dolphin docks; and a maximum of 7 DWT for sampan docks. The elevation for loading and unloading docks: EAD +100,017 meters Above Sea Level (MSL); highest water level +99,670 MSL; normal high tide +98,017 MSL and normal water level +95,517 MSL. For dolphin docks: EAD +97,170 MSL; normal water level +91,517 MSL and low water level +88,267 MSL. And for sampan docks: EAD +97,170 MSL; normal water level +91,517 MSL and lowest water level +88,267 MSL. The riverbed depth is +81,527 MSL with the lowest water level +88,267 MSL, which can still be used by ships with a draft < 6,74 M, making it safe for ships during the lowest water level.

Abstract

During the dry season, Bluru Village in Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province, has experienced water shortage frequently. Therefore, the construction of a retention basin is planned to overcome the problem. The retention basin serves to store water during the rainy season that can be used during both the wet and dry seasons. Several analyses were conducted to build a small dam. The analysis included design rainfall analysis using the Log Pearson Type III distribution, as well as design flood analysis using the Nakayasu synthetic unit hydrograph method. The flood discharge was estimated at 76.75 m3/s based on the analysis of the 100-year return period. The water demand in Bluru Village is 45.25 l/day for domestic water and 2.26 l/day for non-domestic water. The height of the Bluru Dam has a dead storage value of 231,500.00 m3 and an effective storage value of 130,000.00 m3. The dam structure was evaluated based on software simulation by Hec RAS. The dam is estimated to have a base elevation of +55.82 m and a crest elevation of +62.82 m.

Abstract

South Kalimantan is one of the provinces that has a large population. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, the population of Banjarmasin City in 2023 increased by 1.51 percent. The increase in population results in a high value of road users, which has an impact on transportation problems such as congestion, one of which is the Three Ahmad Yani Km 3 Intersection. Congestion in the area is a frequent occurrence, because it is an access to the center of Banjarmasin city community activities. Efforts made by the government to control congestion are by using Yellow Box Junction markings. This study aims to determine the suitability and effectiveness of Yellow Box Junction markings. The parameters used to determine the effectiveness are the number of violators of the markings and the degree of saturation. The results showed that the intersection performance at the Ahamad Yani KM 3 Intersection in Banjarmasin City is not effective because the DS value exceeds the value specified in MKJI 1997, which is> 0.85. From the results of the percentage of violators, it is concluded that the Yellow Box Junction markings are included in the highly effective category such as in North Traffic the average value of effectiveness is 92.34%, in East Traffic the average value of effectiveness is 89.71%. The observation results of the suitability of the Yellow Box Junction markings at the Ahmad Yani KM 3 Intersection in Banjarmasin City with the applicable standards show the results are not in accordance with the size of the Yellow Box Junction markings on the width of the straight line and the width of the diagonal line of 30 cm.

Abstract

Studio 5 Muhammadiyah University Banjarmasin, there are 2 (two) employees, the scheduling process at studio 5 is carried out by sending a letter to the resource person concerned. Scheduling is also done by taking notes on the whiteboard in the studio5. Then when the filming process, video editing has been carried out, then the video has been uploaded to the YouTube channel, the notes on the whiteboard are deleted or cleaned. The aim of making this schedule is so that all schedules are recorded well and can be displayed visually. In this system, an application is created that can be displayed on the television screen at the Muhammadiyah University of Banjarmasin, where before this application was created, it was still written on a blackboard for the schedule and implementation of events. This information system was created based on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, where the stages of the method include system analysis by directly conducting interviews with related parties, system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) design for the diagram stages, namely Usecase Diagram, Sequence Diagram, Activity Diagram, then for the database using MySql Workbench, implementation, testing and maintenance for implementation using Laravel tools. So that with these stages it is possible to clearly build an information system for broadcast schedules for Studio 5 of Muhammadiyah University, Banjarmasin. The Studio 5 broadcast schedule information system has several features, starting from the broadcast proposal feature from users and the broadcast proposal feature from admin, the master data feature which includes section data, editor data, cameraman data, and moderator data which can be managed by the admin, a validation feature where broadcast suggestions from users can be scheduled because they have been validated by the admin, and a print or report feature where in this feature the data contained in the broadcast data is printed in excel format.

Abstract

The Tanjung Selor-SP.3 Tanjuung Palas-Sekatak Buji Road and Bridge Preservation Package is one of the packages under the National Road Planning and Supervision Work Unit of the North Kalimantan National Road Implementation Agency (BPJN). One of the activities is road shoulder pavement using a quality of 20 MPa, where in determining it, concrete samples are made for field application using a proportion of 410 kilograms of cement, 932.5 kilograms of size 1-2 aggregate, 233 kilograms of size 2-3 aggregate, 524 kilograms of sand and 205 liters of air.

Abstract

Pekerjaan metode precast disesuaikan karena tingginya elevasi slab ± 7 meter, sehingga diperlukan banyak sekali perancah (material) dan waktu. Penentuan beton precast dilakukan dengan analisis perhitungan preliminary desain, perhitungan pembebanan precast, evaluasi beban yang akan di lifting, berupa beban sendiri precast, untuk waktu lifting beton precast, penulangan beton precast, perhitungan scaffolding terhadap beban sendiri precast. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian untuk umur beton 1 hari untuk izin lifting Crane K-35 ton lebih dari beban precast, maka beban tersebut dapat dipikul oleh crane. Tetapi pada uji validasi silinder nilai tersebut didapatkan pada hari pertama, maka pekerjaan tersebut dapat dilakukan lebih awal. Sedangkan untuk top cor dengan metode cor insitu menggunakan koefisien pada hari ke 3 dengan nilai 0,4 didapatkan nilai perbandingan Mu=30,893 ton.m dan Mr=31,877 ton.m menurut grafik uji validasi silinder dengan fc’ 12 MPa, pekerjaan tersebut didapatkan pada hari ke 2 dan karena pembesian dilakukan dalam waktu paling cepat 1 hari, maka pengecoran bisa dilakukan pada hari ke 3 dimana mutu kuat tekan beton sudah memenuhi sesuai peraturan PBI’71.

Abstract

Analysis of the bearing capacity of foundations requires investigation of adequate soil data and selection of the appropriate bearing capacity calculation method to minimize errors in planning. Soil investigations carried out in this paper include deep drilling and SPT tests, as well as laboratory tests. In calculating the bearing capacity of the pile, the N-SPT value is used which has been corrected for the SPT hammer energy, as well as corrections for the ground water level and overburden pressure. Soil investigations were carried out at the planned location of the Palm Oil Factory in Branch Village River, Keamatan. Kumai, Kabupaten Pangkalan Bun. The test results show that there is a very soft to soft cohesive soil layer at a depth of around 8.00 – 18.00 m. Hard soil layers began to be found at a depth of 45.00 m until the end of the test depth at 50.00 m. The planned pile foundation is a spun pile with a diameter of 500 m with an embedded pile length of 46.00 m. The calculation method used is Meyerhoff (1956), Briaud et al. (1985), and Decourt (1987). With Safety Factor 3, the average permitted carrying capacity is 183.90 tons (Meyerhoff Method, 1956), 153.07 tons (Briaud et al., 1985 Method), and 156.75 tons (Decourt, 1987). The ultimate bearing capacity using the Meyerhoff (1956) method is approximately 15% greater than that of the other two methods.
