Abstract

The critical thinking ability of students at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara is still relatively low. For this reason, it is very necessary to have a learning system that supports the improvement of students' critical thinking skills. The inquiry learning emphasizes the activeness of students to have a learning experience in finding material concepts based on the problems posed so that they can improve students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to determine the critical thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara and to determine the effect of inquiry learning on students' critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara. The type of research conducted is experimental research. The research methodology used in this research is quantitative, namely quasi-experimental. Data collection analysis techniques through tests, observations and documentation. The samples taken are class X MIPA 5 and X MIPA 6. Where the number of students in class X MIPA 5 is 30 people and class X MIPA 6 is 30 people. The results of this study indicate that inquiry learning at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara has an influence on students' critical thinking skills, this can be seen from the results of testing the calculated f value (3.150) more than f table (0.05) so that based on the testing criteria, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. There is no difference in the initial critical thinking ability of students at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara for the experimental class and the control class, this can be seen from the tcount value less than ttable so that the null hypothesis is accepted. Meanwhile, for students' critical thinking skills for the experimental class and the control class after being given treatment there are differences, this can be seen from the value of tcount more than ttable, the null hypothesis is rejected. The effect of inquiry learning on students' critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara shows the average N-gain score for the experimental class of 60.87% "Quite effective". Meanwhile for the control class, 36.09% is "ineffective". So it can be concluded that the use of the inquiry learning model is quite effective in improving students' critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 02 Bengkulu Utara. .

Abstract

The using of innovative techniques in teaching reading is so useful to increase students’ achievement in reading comprehension. The students’ difficulties in comprehending the text and inactive reading class are the points of the phenomena of this research.The objective of the research was to find out and describe whether TGT technique gives positive effect to students’ reading comprehension. The research design of this research was experimental design. As the instrument of this research was reading test which consisted of 10 items essay. The result of the reading test was the TGT could increase the students’ reading comprehension ability. It can be seen after the researcher calculated by using t-test formula that t-count was higher than t-table (3.125>2.024) and the mean score of the both classes increased, 7.5 points for the control group and 18.5 points for the experimental group. So, it can be concluded that this technique gave a positive effect in teaching reading.

Abstract

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is a device that people use to protect against people who have received a disease that can be spread through contact or by other people. PPE is needed for medical personnel in order to reduce the risk of transmission of the Covid-19 virus because during the Covid-19 pandemic, the risk of increasing cases in health workers is very high because they are in direct contact with patients who have contracted Covid-19 for treatment or who are quarantined. The use of non-standard personal protective equipment is one of the reasons why health workers get Covid-19 infections. This is intended for people who work in the distribution and management of PPE, public and individual health, public health management, and providing PPE information. Before making direct contact with patients infected with the Covid-19 virus, health workers must be required to wear PPE, but the availability of PPE is very limited because it is also used by patients and the community. This condition forces health workers to reduce the use of PPE by providing health services without removing PPE for a long time or by using homemade PPE. This is what motivates academics to conduct a literature review that evaluates the factors that influence the habit of using PPE for health workers. In this study, the method used is Observational Retrospective, specifically with a qualitative approach in Systematic Review to synthesize descriptive qualitative research results using the PRISMA (Preffered Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) method, which is carried out systematically by following the steps outlined below. good and right. To get reliable and accurate results from articles that are used as references, the authors search and select scientific publications from database sources (Literature review) using Google Scholar and the search term "Analysis of Compliance Behavior in the Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Health Workers During the Covid Pandemic. -19." The data analysis used papers related to research issues, namely the examination of compliance behavior in the use of PPE in health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, which was then systematically researched by selecting 10 articles to be reviewed and included in the review process. After a literature search was carried out by entering keywords in Google Schoolar with keyword analysis of compliance behavior in the use of PPE in health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic from the 2019-2022 range, at least 1040 articles were obtained, but only 10 articles met the inclusion criteria after articles that were not suitable to be removed.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much income from salted fish business in Sumber Jaya Village, Kampung Melayu District, Bengkulu City. This type of research is descriptive research. The subjects in this study were 21 salted fish business people in Sumber Jaya Village, Kampung Melayu District, Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data processing, data analysis, interpretation of the results of the analysis. The results of this study found that the capital used in the salted fish business is own capital. The raw materials for this business are fresh sea fish and salt. The production costs in the salted fish business include the cost of production facilities, equipment depreciation costs, labor costs and other costs. The income of salted fish business in Sumber Jaya Village, Kampung Melayu Subdistrict, Bengkulu City in 1 month is the smallest, namely Rp. 3,619,304 and the largest is Rp. 5,707,304. The average income of salted fish business is RP 4,663,304..

Abstract

Stress is an expression of the human body's reaction to any demands experienced by it and is a mobilization or defense movement of the human body. Common symptoms that arise when experiencing stress are: the stress response is angry or anxious, the stress response is depressed, and the stress response is silent. Data from the Social Welfare Service of Central Java Province in 2017 recorded 704,000 people experiencing mental disorders, 608,000 people experiencing stress, and 96,000 being diagnosed with insanity. Objective: To determine the relationship between stress levels and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at the Posyandu Lansia Adiyuswo, Kedawung Village. Methods: This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. Sampling using purposive sampling with sampling that researchers have determined certain criteria for the object to be sampled with a sample of 87 respondents. Bivariate analysis using Rank Spearman test Results: The results obtained 47 respondents, most of the elderly at Posyandu Adiyuswo Kedawung had stress levels in the moderate category as many as 25 respondents (53.2%), while most of the elderly at Posyandu Adiyuswo Kedawung had level 1 hypertension, namely as many as 26 respondents (55.3%). The results of the test The results of data analysis using the Rank - Spearman test obtained a value of Sig = 0.000 < (0.05) which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: There is a relationship between stress levels and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at Posyandu Adiyuswo Kedawung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out (1) the strategies used to increase competitiveness at the Gadis Cakes store (2) the strategies used to increase the interest of shoppers at the Gadis Cakes store. This research uses qualitative. The data sources in this study are Primary Data and Secondary Data. The data collection technique of this research used observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that: (1) It can be said that the strategy used by the Girl Cakes Store is able to increase the competitiveness of micro-enterprises by providing products that are different from other stores such as cakes that cost thirty five thousand rupiah elsewhere, no one sells immediately. thirty five thousand rupiah but the girl cakes shop provides cakes at affordable prices, increasing the products that are in demand by consumers so that consumers are interested in buying these products. (2) What buyers are usually interested in is a cake product which costs thirty five thousand rupiah because this cake is quite affordable to consumers where the shoppers of this cakes girl shop are mostly teenagers who are still in school so that with the price of thirty five thousand rupiahs cakes make consumers more choose the product.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many people who are hesitant in making shopping decisions at Alfamart because it is influenced by several factors of their own behavior. This study aimed to determine the factors of affecting consumers’ behavior in making purchase decision at Alfamart Rawa Makmur of Bengkulu City. This type of this study was descriptive qualitative research with a total sample of 9 people during the study. The data collection techniques of this study usied observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique used data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion. The results of this study show that the factors of affecting consumers’ behaviorin making purchasing decision at Alfamart Rawa Makmur are promotional factors, product factors, price factors and location factors. There is a promotion for consumers when shopping at Alfamart Rawa Makmur.They are very satisfied and return to make transactions.

Abstract

This study aimed to know the factors affecting consumer decision in buying clothing products online in Air Lelangi Village, Ulok Kupai District, North Bengkulu Regency.This study used descriptive method. The data sources of this study used primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques of this study used observation, interview, documentation. This study used 3 data analysis techniques, namely data reduction data, data display, and conclusion. The results of the study show that there are some factors affecting consumer decision in buying clothing products online in Air Lelangi Village, Ulok Kupai District, North Bengkulu Regency.There are 3 indicators, namely 1) consumers choose products/services to meet their needs, when consumers make choices of diverse products/services, they do not regardless of the need to choose products, most consumers buy clothing products in online stores/marketplaces by considering the quality and effectiveness of the product. 2) Estimated time regarding the estimate of how long it take for the goods to be delivered to consumers, ranging from 3-7 days for delivery. 3) The need for products is also supported by the ease of choice of payment methods, consumers make choices about the method / method of payment for products to be purchased, consumers tend to use the COD method or pay on the spot.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the parents’response towardonline learningat SMP Negeri 8 Kedurang District, South Bengkulu Regency. This study used a descriptive research type with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques of this study were observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique of this study used percentage analysis. The results of the study show that there were some parents' response toward online learning at SMP Negeri 8 Kedurang District, South Bengkulu Regency. It can proved with 17 respondents in terms of network availability 11.76% are in the no category. There are 17.65% in the category of few complaints, but seen 70.59% in the category of many complaints. Judging from the demand for internet quota turns out that there are still 11.76% in the always category, 17.65% in the sometimes category, but 70.59% is in the unfulfilled category. In terms of the implementation of online learning, 17.65% are in the easy category, 11.76% are in the less category, however, most of 70.59% are in the difficult category. In terms of providing facilities for online learning tools 5.89% are in the not burdensome category, 41.17% are in the somewhat burdensome category, but there are still 52.94% in the burdensome category.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a virus that can infect the respiratory system. This virus can attack anyone, people who are at risk of contracting it are people who are in close contact with Covid-19 patients, including those who treat Covid-19 patients. A person's level of knowledge in general is one of the causes of people experiencing anxiety. Anxiety can occur when someone has less knowledge. Objective; Identifying the characteristics of the respondents, knowing the level of public knowledge, knowing the level of public anxiety, analyzing the relationship between the level of knowledge and anxiety. Methods; Quantitative with correlation approach, descriptive survey method, conducted by cross sectional. The research sample was 67 respondents. Univariate and bivariate analysis using SPSS 25 program. Results; The results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and public anxiety in dealing with COVID-19 in Trasan Klaten Village. Conclusion; There is a relationship between the level of knowledge and public anxiety in dealing with covid-19 in Trasan Klaten Village.
