Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe 1) the forms of football registers used in the book “dolar” football by Amir Machmud NS; and 2) the meanings of football registers words and phrases used in the book “dolar” football by Amir Machmud NS. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques rafer to notice and record. The data analyses techniques in this study are 1) categorization; 2) presents the table; abalyses data; and taking conclusions. All findings data are chosen based on needing as much as 113 data conclusions of words and phrases from Indonesian, words and phrases fron English, and word and phrases that are a mixture of Indonesian and English. There are two findings in this research, 1) thirteen forms of football registers in the form of words and one hundred phrases totaling, with categories of verb words, nouns, numeral and categories of verb phrases, nouns phrases, adjective phrases; 2) the meaning of words and phrases of the football register is divided into two, namely the actual meaningful denotative or meaningful number of 45 and connotative or forty five meaningless words.

Abstract

Interference is a language error caused by the influence of other languages, which is often used so that it affects the use of other languages. This study aims to describe the interferences of Manggarai language sentences in the form of question sentences and command sentences towards Indonesian in Manggarai student conversations at PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach that is the explanation in the form of sentences or language. The data from this study are the results of conversations by Manggarai students. The data source of this research is Manggarai students at PGRI Adi Buana University in Surabaya. The techniques of data collection in this study are (1) see competent involvement. (2) record. (3) note it down. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive techniques because it strongly supports the research objective of describing or obtaining a clear picture of the form of sentence interference in Manggarai student conversations at PGRI Adi Buana University in Surabaya. The results of the study found in the interference of Manggarai language sentences against Indonesian in Manggarai student conversations at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya, in the form of question and command sentence interference. Interference of question and command sentences as found in the structure of Indonesian language is not logical that is influenced by the local language system or mother tongue.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe gender injustice in the drama script Mata Adil Mata Takdir by Totenk MT Rusmawan. The theory used in this research is Fakih's theory which refers to gender injustice towards women as a support in his study. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques use words, sentences, and paragraphs. The technical analysis of the data used is reading, interpreting and concluding. The results of the research found in the drama script Mata Adil Mata Takdir there are gender injustices experienced by female characters by men contained in the drama script. Women leaders experience gender injustice by men in the form of job impoverishment, women 's numbering, and violence against women in terms of physical, psychological and rape violence. Conclusions in this study the forms of gender injustice in the lives of women leaders Gender differences have given birth to various injustices, both men and especially against women. injustice is a system and structure of both men and women become victims of the system. Suggestions in this research can be useful for the development of teaching Indonesian language and literature in understanding gender injustice contained in literary works, especially drama scripts.

Abstract

This research has a background in the function of language as a communication tool. Every human being has a communication tool used in everyday life. Humans use language to express ideas, thoughts, opinions, and interact with each other.The purpose of this study is to describe speech acts in teaching practices for students of Teacher Professional Education PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya. The theory used in this study is the theory of speech acts from Searle. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using documents. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, coding, and data presentation. The results of the study found there are directive speech acts and expressive speech acts. The directive speech acts consist of six types, namely the request directive speech act, the question directive speech act, the directive speech act of the directive, the prohibition directive speech, the directive act of giving permission and the non-directive advice directing. Whereas the expressive speech act function consists of expressive greetings of congratulations, expressive expressions of thanks, expressive expressions of criticism, expressive expressions of praise, expressive insinuations and expressive expressions of apology.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain (1) Self-image in Oka Rusmini's Earth Dance Novel (2) Social Image in Oka Rusmini's Earth Dance Novel. This research uses a study of Liberal Feminism. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study are in the form of words, sentences in th e form of expressions, and dialogues between characters that show self-image and social images which are the focus of research. The data source in this study is the novel Tarian Bumi by Oka Rusmini. Data collection techniques in this study used the observation and note technique. The results of this study are able to explain the image of the main female character which includes self-image, and the social image that is owned by the main character of Balinese women. Through Oka Rusmini's novel Tarian Bumi, it explains the struggles of women and the conflicting rules in the family that makes one of the main characters, Ida Ayu Telaga Pidada, willing to leave her national title because she doesn't want to follow her mother's wishes. Telaga's rejection of the mother caused the relationship between mother and child to break up. Telaga who eventually left her family and became a complete Sudra woman even though she always had different opinions with her in-laws.

Abstract

This research uses a literature sociology study. The approach used in this research is descriptivexqualitativexresearch. Abstract

This study aims to examine the existing culture in the novel Tarian Bumi. In conducting this research the researcher used a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative method means that the resulting data the form of words in the form of quotations. The main data source in this study came from Oka Rusmini's Novel Cultural Studies in the Earth Dance Novel. The data obtained in this study used reading techniques, note-taking techniques and literature study techniques with steps to read carefully, directed, thoroughly and understand after that were analyzed. In this cultural study, there are 3 values ​​contained, which are the focus of research on the novel Tarian Bumi, the first is the value of belief. This belief value exists and is highly depicted in the novel Tarian Bumi. The value of belief in the novel Tarian Bumi is described in three relationships, namely Intrapersonal (the relationship between oneself), Interpersonal (the relationship between other people and the environment) and Transpersonal (a relationship that cannot be seen from a relationship with divinity which is the highest power). Second, Moral values. The moral values ​​described in the novel Tarian Bumi can seen the actions or behavior of characters in the Tarian Bumi novel. The three values ​​of Customs. The values ​​of these customs are seen to be very attached to the traditional Balinese Hindu rituals and all kinds of rules that exist in the Brahmana and Sudra aristocrats.

Abstract

In this ressearch, the aim of this ressearch is (1) describe the aspects of welfare, (2) to describe the aspects of peace. The method used is descriptive qualitative and sociology of literature and uses the object of aspects of welfare and aspects of peace in the novel Genduk by Sundari Mardjuki. Data collection techniques, namely reading over and over, marking data, and recapitulating data. Data analysis techniques use categorizing and creating tables. The validity of the data used the validity test, data reliability and stability test. This study uses the theory of Robert Siabrani. Local wisdom has two aspects, namely, the welfare aspect and aspects of peace. The daata source used is thhe novel Genduk by Sundari Mardjuki. The research data is the form of quootations. The results of research on Sundari Mardjuki's novel Genduk show that the environment in the story is set in the 1970s. The Genduk and Yung characters live in Ringinsari Village, near Mount Sindoro. In the story of the character Yung, the way to ask God is very different, the character Yung always uses chanting from ancient times. The village still preserves its culture, such as Among Thickness, Kenduri, Jatilan, and cutting hair from the spikes.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia merupakan salah satu ilmu yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam kehidupan manusia serta untuk menguasai ilmu dan teknologi. Sebagai masyarakat Indonesia, penting untuk kita mempelajari dan memahami Bahasa Indonesia secara baik dan benar. Kegiatan tersebut perlu adanya rasa kemandirian dan percaya diri dalam belajar. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh dari strategi metakognitif terhadap self efficacy pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas 5 sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 yang berjumlah 100 siswa. Jumlah ini akan terbagi menjadi dua kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas kontrol. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini membandingkan dua kelompok dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat terdapat perbedaan self efficacy antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan strategi metakognitif dan non metakognitif.

Abstract

Tujuan peneltian ini adalah menginterpretasi, menganalisis, dan mendeskripsikan problem bentuk dan makna kumpulan puisi dwibahasa Gurit Bandha Donya-Puisi Kekayaan Dunia dalam kerangka pendekatan kualitatif. Kumpulan puisi ini memiliki makna beragam sesuai dengan kecenderungan tematik para penyairnya. Puisi yang berbahasa Jawa ditulis lebih awal, kemudian diterjemahkan oleh penyair ke bahasa Indonesia. Puisi berbahasa Jawa terasa lebih padat dibanding hasil terjemahannya. Ada kecenderungan dalam menerjemahkan penyair menambahkan kata-kata atau konsep tertentu sehingga bentuknya menjadi lebih panjang. Dalam kasus tertentu ada pula yang terjadi pengurangan konsep sehingga makna puisi menjadi berbeda. Umumnya dalam penerjemahkan puisi penyair masih terikat pada penerjemahan kata perkata. Idiom-idiom dalam puisi belum dialihkan ke idiom bahasa lain yang maknanaya mirip. Kesenjangan idiom inilah yang menjadi permasalahan dalam penerjemahan puisi dari bahasa Jawa ke bahasa Indonesia.
