Abstract

Abstract Over-extension and under-extension are two of the interesting phenomenas in gaining semantics of deaf children. Both of the phenomenas occur because of the error in giving the semantics feature on one word so that the error distracts the comprehension and word-production meaningfully. This research is a longitudinal qualitative research. The subject of this research is deaf elementary students. The technique of data collection is using observation. It is also supported by feed back, note, and recording. The technique of ata analysis is using transcription, code, and conclusion. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that (1) over-extension in gaining semantics of bahasa for deaf elementary students in every level of deafness happens in noun, verb, and adjective: (a) the low level of deafness happens in noun, verb, and adjective. (b) the medium level of deafness happens in noun and verb, (c) the high level of deafness happens in noun; (2) under-extension in gaining semantics of deaf elementary students in every level of low, medium, and high happens in noun; (3) The effect of over-extension and under-extension in gaining semantics of deaf elementary students can distract (a) participant, including communicator and communicant (b) the understanding of message, and (c) the ongoing of communication. . Abstract

Abstract A form of discussion, such as group, seminar, and debate, needs an interactive situation. The exchange of mind in the discussion is planned so that all participants of discussion could have one perception. The situation of discussion could take place well if all participants such as moderator, speaker, and audience have a good cooperation. The cooperation could be arranged well if all participants use bahasa agreements before implementing the discussion. However, some participants could break the agreement becuase they do not use a proper sentence. The effect of breaking the agreement is a never ending discussion. The students also have this case when they have a discussion of seminar course. This course needs a special skill. The skill is to connect, analyze, and present each of the concepts in front of colleagues. Besides, the presenter should present a paper with an understandable sentences, efficient sentences, and communicative sentences. Key Words: Effective sentence, discussion, seminar course.

Abstract

Abstract Bibir Merah novel is very interesting when it is studied on the behavior, attitudes, and the language expression in the figures. The foundation of the theory used in this study is the theory of feminism. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collected in the form of words, phrases, sentences that mention the dual role of women in the Bibir Merah novel by Achmad Munif. Data collection is done by reading the source data. The result of this research is the behavior of the characters in the Bibir Merah novel by Ahmad Munif as the reaction of Rumanti to the treatment of her invironment. The attitude of the characters in the Bibir Merah novel by Ahmad Munif is an act of Rumanti based on her belief over the plight of her life. The language expression in the Bibir Merah novel by Achmad Munif is the language expression of a gentle character. She pulled out a woman 's inner beauty generally owned by a woman. Abstract

Abstract "Comic" Panji Koming is a combination of art works and stories. Panji Koming is a literary work which is contains a representation of social conflict in Indonesia. The interesting in this comic is a story about the problems of nature, culture, and regulation . The purpose of this research was to describe the profound, adequate, comprehensive representation of social conflict in the "comic" Panji Koming Kompas daily edition on July, August, and September of 2013. The theory used in this research is the theory of social conflict (conflict triangle) of Galtung . In addition to the theory of this research used semiotic theories of Charles Sanders Peirce as supporting on this research. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The data collection technique which is used is document. The data analysis techniques used are interpretation, explanation, description, because the data is a sequence (images and statements). The results of the research are found in the "comic" Panji Koming social conflict are conflicts that include indirect and direct conflict. Each type of conflict does not directly include the environment, culture, politics, religion, and education. Conclusions and suggestions given that this research can be useful for readers, especially for the maintainance and development of the teaching of Indonesian language and literature in understanding the representations contained in the literature, especially comic. Abstract

Abstract Language is sign system first level, which already has a meaning (Meaning). In this language literature meaning elevated to meaning (significance) as sign system second level. Music is a means of cultures present in the community as the construction of social reality embodied in the form of song lyrics. In principle, the lyrics of the song to express the reality of life. Lyrics of Iwan Fals’s song quite different, because Iwan fals did not question the class but more critical of a particular class or practice that does oppression injustice. Data collected in the form Iwan Fals lyric song. Data collection is done by listening to the Iwan Fals song, then transcribe the lyrics Iwan Fals. The results obtained from research in the social criticism in the lyrics of the Iwan Fals’s song can be concluded that each Iwan Fals’s song always reflect the social conditions that occur when the lyrics created, as on the lyrics kisah motorku, sarjana muda, guru umar bakri, tak biru lagi lautku, isi rimba tak ada tempat berpijak lagi, kereta tiba pukul berapa, siang seberang istana, sore tugu pancoran, ujung aspal pondok gede, tikus kantor, lancer, surat buat wakil rakyat, bongkar, bento, dan mereka ada dijalan. Abstract

Abstract Parikan is a kind of poetry that has up consists of four arrays, each array consisting of four syllables. The first and secon d array is sampiran, while the third and fourth array is the content, as well as the guru song first array with the third array and the second array is equal to the fourth array. Parikan similar to the poem in Indonesian literature. Parikan are identic with the Java language, especially the use of typical alkaline parikan Suroboyoan, has now appeared in various shows and med ia. One of the communications media of the most interesting and most widely reaching throughout society is the print media. Parikan one that appears in the print media is on the rubric Coffee parikan Giras present each year at the Jawa Pos daily. parikan that appear on the rubric is a medium for bersilahturahmi. Parikan itself usually contains advice, satire, humor, lore. In thi s study, parikan will be assessed in terms of aesthetic. By focusing on the problems of (1) the aesthetic value of the rubric C offee Giras diction in terms of accuracy, (2) the aesthetic value of the rubric Coffee Giras in terms of style. The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the aesthetic value of the rubric Coffee parikan Giras diction in terms of accuracy, (2) describe the aesthetic value of the rubric Coffee parikan Giras measured in terms of style. The data in this study in the form of aesthetic value includes the value of aesthetics in terms of precision of diction and style aesthetic value. Sources of data in this study on the rubric of parikan Jawa Pos Daily Coffee Giras August-September issue of 2012. Data collection techniques used in this study documentation. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative techniques, using qualitative descriptive technique works step is to describe an object, phenomenon terjewantah in a narrative writing. That is, data collected by the form of words rather than numbers. Large number of facts and data is stored in the form of documentation materials. Based on the analysis of data it can be concluded that the aesthetic value Parikan Lebaran on Rubric Coffee Giras Jawa Pos Daily Edition August to September 2012 to study the accuracy stilistika which includes the use of diction and style indicated the use of connotative meaning in parikan widths. Connotative meanings that exist in parikan arise as a result of social attitudes, personal attitudes and additional criteria imposed on a conceptual meaning. While the style of the language on the parikan only within the scope of rhetorical style, rhetorical style is a style that is merely a deviation from the usual construction to achieve a certain effect with use of the meaning expressed directly. Rhetorical style consists of 21 kinds of style, but the study found the use of fo rce five languages, ranging from stylistic Alliteration, assonance style, style, Asidenton, style and style Polisidenton Ellipsis. So the style that is in theory not all there in the rubric parikan Coffee Giras, while for patterns generated prosody rubric parikan on Coffee Giras varied widely used pattern and produce a beautiful sound aesthetic values heard. Then the overall aesthetic value parikan on Jawa Pos Daily is beautiful and easy to understand its contents. Key Word : Aesthetic value, parikan, diction, style

Abstract

Abstract Learning is an activity that uses the connection information and the environment by planning for students. To make the ease in learning to improve writing skills by using the announcement effectively, Indonesia language teachers should make learning an active, creative, and fun. This study has the objective to improve the skill of writing an announcement by using effective techniques of Presentation of Discovery Continuous Exercise (P2LT). The subject of this research is the studens of SMPN 2 Krian, Sidoarjo, grade 7, grade 7-C in particular. Before learning of the class done, researchers and language teacher conducting the initial orientation of Indonesia. Based on early reflection, researchers know that the expertise of writing grade 7-C student at SMPN 2 Krian, Sidoarjo, still low. Their score was 64,51. This issue has been resolved by using the techniques of P2LT. Based on analysis conducted after the activity, an increase in comparison to the initial condition the average of 23%. Average score announcement text writing skills of students of initial conditions to the first cycle ride 11.7, while achievement of KKM 54,1 ride. Writing skills score announcements in the first cycle of 77,23, whereas in the second cycle is 80,20. Average cumulative a score of the ability to write the text of an announcement from the cycle first into the cycle of rising 3,99, both while the attainment of kkm from the cycle first into a cycle second increased by 17.88.Thus can be inferred that the implementation of technical P2LT can improve the ability to write the text of the nnouncement of a student 7-C SMPN- 2 Krian. Abstract

Abstrak In teaching learning activity, a lecturer does not only convey the material but also should try to make the courses are delivered into a fun learning activities and easily understood by students. If the lecturer can not deliver the material with appropriate and attractive , so that students have difficulty in learning. Actually, the lecturer can use a model of learning by involving more students in the learning process . Learning is a complex process that occurs in all people and last a lifetime since he was a baby up to the adult . One sign that a person has to learn about something, that is a change in her behavior. Changes will occur when the person’s experiencing in real learning process . This means that students can do their own learning activities ( reading, writing, doing assignments, and so on), then the student should gain their experience of learning in real life as well. One of the things that combine the reality with learning activities and students’ experiences is model of Cooperative Think Pair Share (KOTIPARE). The learning model is an important role in the set of learning equipment.. Based on the results of action research, KOTIPARE models improves the students ability in learning aids development. It shows that the increasing of the students ability is 37 % to 67 % on the first cycle , then either the second cycle increased by 22% to 89 %. Abstract

Abstract Any language that exist in the world is definitely having the same characteristics. Among these characteristics are arbitrary, creative, and dynamic. As the manifestations known there are common language and arificial language. Common language is also know by the name of natural language, colloquial, or non cognitive language. Artificial language is synonimous with scientific language, the language of science, and cognitive language. Common language is characterized by emotional, evaluative, ambiguous, and prejudiced/contextual. Otherwise artificial language, closed to the facts, meaningful constant, single definition, and non personal. Key Word: Artificial language, common language, arbitrary, creative, dynamic.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by less inequality in rights education for all citizens of Indonesia. Differences in customs, ethnicity, race, religion, and social class made as demarcation to recognize education. These conditions make room for the presence of various forms of oppression. The research objective is to provide an understanding of the importance of education for life. Education will bring someone in better condition. The method used is qualitative method. Research with qualitative methods is the researcher's own instrument, prioritizing the provision of theory and extensive knowledge thus, able to analyze and construct the social situation under study becomes more clear and meaningful. In this study, the research focus lead to five points. The first is the belief traditions in education restraint. The second is to change the mindset and planting awareness education. Third is the suppression of the right of freedom for the people of the jungle. Fourth was the sinking of education for one gender. Fifth is anticipatory education in the face of the current world transformation. That's five things into the realm of research on novel Sokola Rimba by Butet Manurung.
