Abstract

Cinta dalam 99 Nama-Mu are interesting because they tell a girl who wants to be close to God, the character played by the main character and religious issues that occur in the main female characters. This study aims to describe more deeply the female character and religious issues that occur in the novel Cinta dalam 99 Nama-Mu by Asma Nadia, the first print of April 2018. The theory used is the theory of feminism. The main objectives to be achieved in this study, describe the character of the main character and women's religious issues in the novel Cinta dalam 99 Nama-Mu. The method used in the study is descriptive qualitative, because this research is done by reading and taking notes. The data contained in the study are written data about the elements of the story that relate to the characters and religious issues of women in the Cinta dalam 99 Nama-Mu by Asma Nadia. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis, which is used to analyze the elements that build literary works from within, and look for relationships and linkages with these elements.

Abstract

This research is based on the occurrence of conversation implicature transactions in buying and selling transactions at the end of Suramadu Madura. Implications in conversation are conventional forms of implicature and unconventional implicatures. This research is a kind of conversational implicature in a sale and purchase transaction at the end of Suramadu Madura. This method is a descriptive method. The purpose of this study is to describe the pattern of systematic, factual and accurate relationships between the phenomena investigated. Implicit in the sale and purchase transaction at the end of Suramadu Madura has two types, namely: conventional implicature and unconventional implicature. Conventional Implication is a type of implicature derived from the meaning of words, not from the principle of conversation. Whereas nonconventional implicatures are the implications of pragmatics implicit in conversation. In communication, speech always presents functional functions and in conversation, intentions implied.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study to describe the politeness strategies of Brown and Levinson in the Q&A talk show and describe the relevance of politeness-language strategies towards learning Indonesian at the Middle School level. The theory used to solve the problem in this study is the theory of Brown and Levinson. While the approach used is descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques namely documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the forms of Brown and Levinson's politeness strategy that occurred in the Q & A talk show in August 2018 consisted of Brown and Levinson's first politeness strategy, namely without strategies found that included speech without strategy. The second strategy of brown politeness and Levinson's positive politeness strategy is found to pay attention to the opponent's speech, exaggerate attention, agreement, and sympathy, intensify the opponent's attention by dramatizing facts, intensify using group identity markers, request approval with general topics or repeat part or all, avoiding disagreement by pretending to agree, using jokes, expressing understanding of the wishes of speakers, giving offers or promises, showing optimism, involving speakers in activities, giving questions asking for approval, giving gifts. Where negative politeness strategies are found to be pessimistic, minimize coercion, and apologize. Finally, the Off Record strategy was found which was included in the strategy. The relevance of the results of the study can be applied in learning Indonesian in junior high school class IX 3.9-4.10.

Abstract

This research aim to improve speaking skills by using role playing learning models based on constructivism in the tenth grade science-1 students of MAN Sidoarjo. The type of this research use collaborative action research. The theory used in this research is the theory of speaking skills from Arsjad and Mukti. The technique of analyzing data used quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that role playing learning models based on constructivism can improve students speaking skills by the teachers deliver the learning objectives, explain the role playing activities, divide the students into small groups, motivating the students to understand the material, give the students facilities to play a role, and guiding the students to discuss evaluate the role playing activities. The results showed that the learning process is increased. The improvement can be seen from the enthusiasm of the students and the students more orderly during the learning activities. Speaking skills improvement showed from the average acquisition value, before using the method increased about 49,34% to 75,68% in the first cycle and increased to 80,90% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is that students are able to write fantasy stories through the Think Talk Write learning model. The researcher applies a Think Talk Write learning model that is applied to students of class VII-F Wonoayu Sidoarjo 1 Junior High School. Researchers use the application of learning models, namely learning Think Talk Write. This learning model helps students to get maximum learning outcomes in groups so as to foster a sense of family and cooperation. Learning to write fantasy stories was chosen as the study material because it had not yet achieved the ability of students to write fantasy stories. This is based on learning outcomes that have not yet reached the expected KKM.

Abstract

The view of this mimetic approach is the assumption that poetry is an imitation of nature or depiction of the world and human life in the universe. the target studied is the extent to which poetry represents the real world or the universe and the possibility of intellectuality with other works. the relationship between reality and imagery in literature is a dialectical relationship. mimetic is not possible without creation, but creation is not possible without mimetics. doses and links between the two can differ in culture, time, literature, personality of the author, etc. but one without the other is impossible and lastly the combination of creation and mimetics is not only valid and true for literary writers. Giving meaning to literature is an endless journey between two realities and an imaginary world. Literary works that are released and reality lose something essential, that is, the involvement of the reader in existence as a human being. Literary readers who lose the power of imagination exclude things that are no less essential for humans, namely alternatives to existence that exist with all their deficiencies or simpler thanks to art, literature, especially humans can live in a combination of reality and dreams that are both for us as humans.

Abstract

Feminism or the one known as empasipasi comes from Latin which means woman. Feminism is an awareness of deterrence and the fulfillment of the eremgum dálan maspmiat, the place of work and in the family, and the conscious actions of women and men to change the situation in Okky Madasari's Entrok novel. The purpose of this study is to describe more deeply, adequately and comprehensively about liberal feminism in the novel Entrok by Okky Madasari. The theory used in this study is liberal feminism according to Sugihastuti. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection technique of this study uses documentation techniques. The data analysis technique of this research uses descriptive qualitative. The results of the research found in liberal feminism by Okky Madasari's Entrok novel are that literary texts do not have a single meaning, literary texts always produce new interpretations that are not previously thought. In the Entrok novel researchers found that equal rights or inequality among women. Men are powerful and think that women are below them.

Abstract

This study aims to describe Marxist feminism in Tempurung novels by Oka Rusmini. Marxist feminism is a problem related to social classes in the family and society. Marxist feminism is important to study, because in family life and in people's lives there are so many problems related to social classes especially those that occur in women. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. the data from this study are in the form of sentences that contain quotations containing Marxist feminism. The data source of this research is the Tempurung novel by Oka Rusmini. The technique used in collecting data is documentation techniques, because it collects data from written information in the form of Tempurung novels by Oka Rusmini. The results of this study of Marxist feminism show that in family life and in society there are still differences in social classes, especially in women. In this case women experience various kinds of problems, such as: women's position based on socio-economic and women's position based on social class in society. The position of women based on socio-economic conditions includes economic exploitation of employment and economic exploitation of marriage. Whereas the position of women based on social class in society includes class differences in family and class differences in society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of resistance to colonialism in the Red Eclipse novel . The theory used in this study is postcolonialism to see the forms of resistance contained in the novel. In postcolonial theory there are elements of resistance, namely passive resistance and radical resistance, namely hybridity, ambivalence, decolonization and anticolonialism carried out by characters in novels who experience colonialism. The method used in this study, namely a qualitative approach. Data from this study are in the form of words, sentences and paragraphs that describe colonialism in the novel . The data source in this study is the Red Eclipse novel written by Muhammad Sholihin. Data collection in this study uses documentation techniques. The step of analyzing by reading, interpreting and concluding. The results of this study were postcolonial not as something that came after colonialism and signaled the death of colonialism, but more loosely regarded as a resistance to colonial domination, and in the Red Eclipse novel there were two forms of resistance to colonialism namely passive resistance and radical resistance. Passive resistance is shown by the natives with the manifestation of themselves to refuse, namely a resistance that uses other means to maintain cultural identity and ownership. While Radical Resistance acts like an army or combat army, the struggle to liberate the nation from colonialism. organized movement plans, which are carried out by attacking directly.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of misuse of words in making official letters. The research data is based on the type of official letter that entered the Semambung Village Government in 2018. Data analysis was divided into two types, namely primary and secondary data. Primary data in this study is written data about language errors, namely errors in the form of word accuracy, word correctness, writing errors, generality, and word efficiency.The method used in this study, namely a qualitative approach. Data from this study are in the form of words. The source of the data in this study is official letters that are included in the government agency of Semambung Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency in 2018. Data collection techniques in this study use note-taking techniques. Based on the results of data analysis there are errors in the use of Indonesian in official letters entered by the Semambung Village Government in Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency in 2018. In this study it can be concluded that language errors in the form of deviations in the form of errors in word accuracy, word rigidity, economics, subtlety and meaning.
