Abstract

This study examines the influence of ethical competency and strategic competency on student business growth. Ethical competency refers to the ability of students to apply ethical values in business decision-making, while strategic competency involves the capacity to plan and execute effective business strategies. Using a quantitative approach, the study surveyed 101 student entrepreneurs from the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN Salatiga. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS. The results reveal that both ethical and strategic competencies significantly contribute to business growth. Students with strong ethical competency tend to make responsible and transparent decisions that enhance long-term performance, while those with strong strategic competency demonstrate greater adaptability and sustainability. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating ethical and strategic competency development into entrepreneurship education programs. It is hoped, the study recommends that entrepreneurship education should strengthen students’ ethical and strategic skills through practical learning, mentoring, and business incubation programs. Universities should provide continuous support, monitoring, and training to help students make responsible decisions and develop effective strategies. Additionally, opportunities for networking, collaboration, and hands-on business experience should be expanded to enhance students’ readiness and long-term business growth

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of adhocracy culture and compensation on employee performance, with work motivation as a mediating variable at PT Adiprima Suraprinta. The study is motivated by the phenomenon of declining employee performance during the 2020–2024 period, despite questionnaire results indicating relatively high perceived performance. A quantitative research approach was employed. The population consisted of all employees of PT Adiprima Suraprinta, with 334 permanent employees selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that adhocracy culture and compensation have a positive and significant effect on work motivation and employee performance. Furthermore, work motivation partially mediates the relationship between adhocracy culture and compensation on employee performance. These findings emphasize that strengthening an innovative organizational culture and implementing an appropriate compensation system can enhance work motivation, which in turn contributes to sustainable improvements in employee performance

Abstract

This study examines the effect of intellectual stimulation leadership, human resource development, and organizational culture on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT Gresik Mustika Timur and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results show that intellectual stimulation leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, while human resource development and organizational culture do not have a significant effect. In addition, job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance. The mediation analysis indicates that job satisfaction mediates the relationship between intellectual stimulation leadership and employee performance. These findings highlight the importance of intellectual stimulation in leadership practices in enhancing employee performance directly and indirectly through job satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and product quality on purchasing decisions of Wanda Scarf hijab products in Serang City. The rapid growth of the hijab fashion industry has intensified competition among brands, requiring business owners to build a strong brand image and maintain product quality to attract consumers. A positive brand image and good product quality are considered important factors influencing consumers’ purchasing decisions. This research employs a quantitative approach using an associative method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to Wanda Scarf consumers. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied, along with t-test and F-test to examine the hypotheses. The results indicate that brand image and product quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. These findings suggest that improving brand image and product quality can increase consumers’ purchasing decisions toward Wanda Scarf hijab products

Abstract

In the modern era, society's dependence on technology, particularly the internet, has brought significant changes in lifestyle, including shopping behavior. E-commerce, as a form of electronic commerce, is rapidly evolving as a mechanism for exchanging goods and services over the internet. This study aims to measure the influence of brand ambassadors and the "Gratis Ongkir" (Free Shipping) tagline of Shopee on the purchasing decisions of STIE Sakti Alam Kerinci students. The research results indicate a relatively low impact of both factors, with a Coefficient of Determination value of 14.3%. Despite being low, this value provides an initial overview of the extent to which the model can explain variations in students' purchasing decisions. The analysis reveals that the partial influence of brand ambassadors on purchasing decisions is 0.41%, while the "Gratis Ongkir" tagline has an impact of 0.34%. Although these figures are relatively low, it is essential to note that low values do not necessarily reflect insignificance. The reduced impact could be influenced by complex factors and variables not measured in the study. The Coefficient of Determination value of 14.3% indicates that the constructed model can explain a small portion of the variation in purchasing decisions among STIE Sakti Alam Kerinci students

Abstract

Although customer satisfaction in Muslim fashion retailers has been widely studied, research specifically comparing the influence of Islamic service and promotions on customer satisfaction at the Rabbani outlet in Kambang, Jambi City, is still limited. This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic service and promotions on customer satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving 100 Rabbani Kambang customer respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results show that Islamic service significantly influences customer satisfaction, while promotions have no significant effect. However, simultaneously, Islamic service and promotions have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. These findings contribute to the development of Islamic marketing theory, particularly regarding the role of Islamic service quality in shaping customer satisfaction. The study's conclusions emphasize the importance of consistently applying Islamic values ??in service as a key factor in increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty, and encourage management to develop creative promotional strategies that align with Sharia principles. The implications of this research include strengthening the Islamic marketing literature and providing practical recommendations for Muslim fashion retailers to improve service quality and promotional effectiveness based on Islamic values

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of taxpayer compliance and Land and Building Tax (PBB) revenue on the Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of Jambi City. This research employs a quantitative approach using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The data consist of primary data collected through questionnaires from 100 land and building taxpayers and secondary data obtained from the BPPRD of Jambi City for the period 2022–2024. The results indicate that taxpayer compliance has a significant effect on PAD, where increased compliance can drive the optimization of regional revenue. In addition, PBB revenue also has a positive effect on PAD, although additional strategies are required to maintain effective tax collection performance
