The paper aimed to study the representations of women in the selected poems of Maya Angelou. The researchers utilized qualitative textual analysis and close reading methods in analyzing the poems through feminism. The results of the researchers' analysis of the selected poems of Maya Angelou emphasized the representation of women per poem: a slave, an outcast, and a mother. The findings of this study encompassed the importance of utilizing feminist approach in analyzing poems to appreciate and empower women against societal expectations and personal challenges in different complexities of life. The researchers suggest exploring more literature from the perspective of feminism to provide further information about other representations of women

This study evaluates the potential of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) as a sustainable solution for Indonesia's energy diversification. Amid Indonesia’s rising energy demands and environmental commitments, SMRs-particularly Small Modular Molten Salt Reactors (SM-MSRs)-present an alternative to conventional power sources. SMRs offer advantages like modularity, operational efficiency, and safety, making them suitable for Indonesia’s geographically dispersed landscape. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research examines the technical, regulatory, and societal factors influencing SMR integration. Findings reveal that while SMRs show competitive Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) compared to coal, challenges remain, including stringent regulatory requirements, high initial capital costs, and limited public acceptance due to nuclear safety concerns. Policy adjustments, community engagement, and collaboration with established SMR programs globally are suggested to address these issues. Additionally, SMRs’ scalability and compatibility with renewables support Indonesia’s goals for a resilient energy mix, potentially transforming remote energy access. This comprehensive approach underscores the viability of SMRs within Indonesia’s energy transition, contributing to a cleaner, more flexible energy infrastructure

The high number of money politics in 2019 in South Bangka Regency affects the increasing vulnerability of money politics during the 2024 election period. The General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) in the 2019 general election stated that South Bangka Regency is ranked in the top 20 areas prone to money politics and ranks 18th in Indonesia in the 2024 general election and the second highest money politics in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This study aims to determine the urgency of political literacy in preventing money politics in the South Bangka Regency and to obtain an overview of efforts to strengthen people's political literacy in preventing money politics. This study used Quasi-Qualitative Design (QQD). Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data was processed using triangulation of data collection techniques. The study shows that the political literacy of the community in the prevention of money politics in South Bangka Regency is still very worrying because the lack of public knowledge related to the government structure, low interest in news and political issues, and low public understanding of money politics and its implications for democracy. Therefore, we suggest cooperation between stakeholders, especially in this digital era, is essential in increasing political literacy and preventing money politics

Reading is an important skill for students when learning activities at school because they have to understand concepts and theories from reading activities. One of the problems about beginning reading difficulties was experienced by MNE, an 8 years old grade 1 elementary school student. MNE has difficulty in reading at first, the client still finds it difficult to distinguish between letters or pronounces letter incorrectly, one of which is the letter b which reads p, g which reads j, f which reads v. MNE still don't know several letters such as the letters w, y, x, and q. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study method to strengthen the diagnosis of MNE based on existing symptoms. The assessments used were observation, interview, intelligence test, and EGRA reading ability test. The intervention using the phonic reading method for 4 sessions in 10 days. The results of the intervention showed an increase in the client’s reading ability to recognize letters well. Client’s motivation to read also increases by trying to read all things that he sees with validation from the people around him

Project success is usually measured by short success time and minimal cost without ignoring the quality of the results. Construction project delays, namely procurement of materials that are not on schedule, labor performance that does not follow the current progress of the work, weather factors are also included in the delay in the implementation of work and the cause of delays in the project, one of which is the failure in the construction of the fence resulting in the collapse of the fence and the repetition of the work. The crash program method is one way that can be used to optimize time and cost in a project. This discussion uses time acceleration and the addition of overtime hours. means accelerating work that is on the critical path, each acceleration carried out will be evaluated based on the cost and how long the project can be accelerated in this way. The calculation results use time acceleration with the addition of overtime hours with the alternative used is the addition of working hours (overtime). The time of the project acceleration is 204 HK with a total project cost of Rp. 8,554,773,321.64, while the completion of normal time is 245 HK with a total project cost of Rp. 8,582,694,112.09. The acceleration result is a reduction in time of 41 HK with an additional total project cost of Rp. 27,920,790.45

An important consideration in structural calculations is a structure's vibration period, which establishes the size of the seismic stresses applied during the design phase. North Sulawesi falls within the category of high-risk earthquake region. The formula for calculating the vibration period, as outlined in SNI 03-1726-2012 is based on Goel and Chopra's (1997) approach and ASCE seismic standards. Nevertheless, SNI 03-1726-2012's formula has a notable limitation: it applies the same approach to all earthquake zones, regardless of whether the area is high-risk or low-risk. This study aims to develop a structural period formula tailored following the SNI 03-1726-2012 earthquake design guidelines and to investigate how the quality of the concrete affects the structural lifespan. Three-dimensional structural modeling of typical structures with floors is used in the study. heights of 4 meters and widths of 4 meters, specifically focusing on mid-rise reinforced concrete buildings with 12 floors. Structural modeling is conducted using the ETABS software, and regression analysis is performed on the resulting structural period values to derive the most accurate formula. The regression analysis yielded two optimal formulas, each with a correlation value of 98%: T=0.105H0.785T = 0.105 H^{0.785}T=0.105H0.785 and T=0.311n0.785T = 0.311 n^{0.785}T=0.311n0.785. The findings indicate that lower concrete quality leads to an increased structural period, albeit with a smaller overall impact. Thus, concrete quality significantly influences the structural period

This research aims to elucidate the enthusiasm of the youth of GPIB Bukit Zaitun in participating in creative worship. This research uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation by directly engaging in the creative worship activities held at GPIB Bukit Zaitun. The results of these observations were then reinforced by conducting interviews with 2 pastors, 3 church council members, and 9 youths involved in the creative worship activities. The data that has been collected was then analyzed, interpreted, verified, and subsequently concluded. The research results show that the Bukit Zaitun church council provides support to the youth in creative worship activities. The goal is for GPIB Bukit Zaitun to be responsible for producing youth who are ready to carry out the Christian mission in supporting national development. There are eight factors that support the youth's enthusiasm in participating in creative worship, namely: the work of the Holy Spirit, service oriented towards gifts, prayer, praise and worship, music, engaging sermons, identity strengthening, and adequate church facilities. In addition, it is also supported by the factor of pastoral leadership that can motivate the youth
