Abstract

E-Voting is the use of computer technology for the implementation of voting. One choice of computer technology used for the implementation of e-voting is to use a client-server architecture. So the use of an all-computer-based-system is expected to replace the manual voting process. The goal to be achieved from making this e-voting application is to be able to assist committee officers in calculating the number of voters and calculating election results quickly and accurately. This application is made using the PHP programming language which is expected to overcome problems related to selection. In making this website, the stages carried out are, preparing the required data, designing the website, designing input and output, followed by the implementation stage of making program coding, the last stage is the trial stage on localhost. Planned trials that set up the application to run properly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the challenges on the implementation of SQ3R on the reading comprehension of students and to find out what theory can be generated from the study. The method in this study is a qualitative research design grounded theory model. The Theory on the learning process has been generated and formulated, “Learning can be facilitated through a reading activity if students experience something new or novel activity when they are engaged in tasks especially on mental organizations and interaction among themselves and with the teacher.” The result revealed that SQ3R reading strategy improves students’ learning outcomes it is recommended that Teachers could apply effective strategies in the teaching-learning process to enhance students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

The level of water pollution sourced from daily household waste needs to be watched out, especially ‎since the level of awareness of the Indonesian people is still relatively low in water treatment. Waste water ‎treatment plants are always synonymous with high installation costs and the complexity of maintenance and ‎management of the installation equipment.‎ Based on the above background, the authors make a household wastewater treatment installation ‎device in the Lirboyo Al-Mahrusiyah Islamic Boarding School Dormitory, Kediri City, into ready-to-use water ‎for urban agriculture using the hydroponic system method. This device is based on a microcontroller that is ‎connected to the Blynk Web Server which can be operated using a Smartphone. This system is also able to provide results of monitoring the quality of water quality standards resulting ‎from waste treatment in the Lirboyo Al-Mahrusiyah Islamic Boarding School Dormitory. This application can ‎also be applied as a remotecontrol tool by utilizing the internet network to determine the quality of household ‎wastewater quality standards with a water acidity level (pH) of 7.12 and a TDS (Total Dissolve Solid) value of ‎‎521 mg/L and turbidity of 5 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units) in real time.‎

The purpose of this paper is to determine and analyze the effect of fee-based income and inflation rates on profitability (ROA) of state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2016-2020 partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach and uses secondary data available on the official website www.idx.co.id. The population in this study are state-owned banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2020 period. The sampling technique was using purposive sampling method. There are 4 companies sampled in this study. Data analysis techniques in this study using multiple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, analysis of the coefficient of determination, hypothesis testing, t test and f test. The results showed that fee-based income and the inflation rate partially had no effect on profitability (ROA) of state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2020 period, fee-based income and inflation rates decreased simultaneously. . has no effect on profitability. (ROA) at State-Owned Banks Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2020 Period.

Abstract

The research formulates and explains the structure, the value, and the norms of disclosing local wisdom in the structure text of TS (Simalungunese 'turiturian' folklore). The narrative text identifies words, paragraphs, phrases, based on the structural text as Orientation ^ Sequence of event (crisis and climax) ^ Resolution ^closure. It is analyzed by using LSF (Functional Systemic Linguistics) text structure which is realized into narrative text structure by using FI (Ideational Function). Oral text sees the establishment of text, co-text, and context in the study of local wisdom. The research design uses interactive modal with descriptive qualitative, using documentary study paradigm in the content analysis in four TS Text. The type of narrative text finds the form of irregular structure texts is identified by the symbol of brackets ([]) which can occur in every stage in the TS text: (Abstract) ^ Orientation ^ ([Evaluation]) ^ Complication ^ Resolution ^ (Code). Ideational function indicates more dominant data in each stage of the proportion of material process of 85.7%, circumstance location of 80% so that para-tactical multiple logic us 1x2 60%. This proportional data indicates that there are 16 verbal words in material data, circumstance data indicate data location which modify 12 location data, logic meaning data indicate that the data taken from verbal data are identified with conjunctions such as that, then, (and) after that, for that, etc. Value and norms contained in the TS text which dominate every text are the values of hard work, togetherness, and discipline. The local wisdom is found in the value and norms of the people's custom described as the forms of behavior and custom in the TS Text. Therefore, this discussion is a unit which also discusses the structure and values of the local cultural wisdom.

Abstract

In Nigeria, there has been a continuous decline in farmers access to credit facilities. This study examined the effect of farmers credit on agricultural productivity from 1981 to 2016 using data from World Bank Development Index (WDI). The result of the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) estimation shows that agricultural bank credit (β=0.667173, t=5.961095 & P<0.05) exerts a significant positive effect on agricultural output. Bank lending rate (β=1.094792, t=1.295874 & P>0.05) and foreign exchange rate (β=0.124297, t=0.437929 & P>0.05) do not show a significant effect on agricultural output. It was submitted that bank credit has a significant positive effect on agricultural productivity in Nigeria. The need for government to promote savings and bank credit to farmers was recommended.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has become a global epidemic since late 2019. From the results of the analysis, it was found that curcumin compounds have good pharmacokinetics and potential as drugs. The result of visualization of protein-ligand complex showed that curcumin compound had good stability interaction. The molecular docking method for predicting the structure of protein-compound complexes is called protein-ligand docking. Curcumin compounds have a higher affinity than bisdemethoxycurcumin and oseltamivir. The purpose of the study was to find the active compounds contained in the turmeric plant (Curcuma longa L.) which have antiviral activity by inhibiting the SARS-CoV-2 protein.

Abstract

There is a need for comprehensive holistic security methods that can provide a long-term response to the challenge of security in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Due to the widespread use of WSN around the world, particularly the Internet of Things (IoTs), quantum security is predicted to aid in the comprehensive security strategy for WSN environments. These quantum securities can be used in conjunction with WSN to provide data security anywhere and at any time. The goal of this study is to examine the security constraints of WSNs and provide a holistic strategy across all network tiers that will serve as a balanced security mechanism solution, as well as a solution to protect nodes from vital data attack, eavesdropping, disruption, destruction as well as alteration and other threats. WSNs are utilized for monitoring, tracking, and controlling applications in a variety of operations, including military, ecological, and health. However, the nature of their resource constraints causes difficulties. Low compute capabilities, tiny memory, limited energy resources, and unreliable communications are just a few of the factors that make data and node security problematic when employing WSN. As a result, as the need for WSNs grows, so does the requirement for improved security methods.
