Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian pre-eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah siswa mengikuti pembelajaran melalui penggunaan etnosains pembuatan gula aren pada konsep klasifikasi materi dan perubahannya siswa SMPN 17 Kota Bengkulu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah tipe One-group pretest-postest. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan penggunaan etnosains pada proses pembuatan gula aren. Instrumen tes menggunakan soal tes hasil belajar berbentuk essay. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukan selisih peningkatan nilai hasil belajar antara pretest dan postest siswa sebesar 51. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji one sampel t-test berdasarkan hasil uji t diperoleh signifikasi hitung hasil yang diperoleh sebesar 0,00 yang lebih kecil dari signifikasi acuan alpha 0,05. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah siswa mengikuti pembelajaran melalui penggunaan etnosains pembuatan gula aren pada konsep klasifikasi materi dan perubahannya. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan N-gain score sebesar 0,64 dalam kategori sedang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar setelah dan sebelum pembelajaran dengan penggunaan etnosains pembuatan gula aren konsep klasifikasi materi dan perubahannya.                                                                                                                     Kata  kunci: Etnosains, Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran IPA, Penggunaan Etnosains   ABSTRACT   This pre-experimental study aims to explain whether there is a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after students take part in learning through the use of ethnoscience of making palm sugar in the concept of material classification and its changes for students of SMPN 17 Bengkulu City. The study used the type of One-group pretest-posttest. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique with the use of ethnoscience in the process of making palm sugar. The test instrument uses learning outcomes test questions in the form of essays. Based on the results of data analysis showed a difference in the increase in the value of learning outcomes between the pretest and post-test students of 51. Hypothesis testing using the one sample t-test test based on the results of the t-test, the calculated significance of the results obtained was 0.00 which is smaller than the alpha reference significance of 0, 05. So H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted which states that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between before and after students take part in learning through the use of ethnoscience of making palm sugar in the concept of material classification and its changes. Based on the results of the calculation of the N-gain score of 0.64 in the medium category. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar e-komik berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada materi Sistem Pencernaan Manusia yang tervalidasi oleh para ahli. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D. Bahan ajar e-komik diuji kelayakan oleh dua validator ahli materi, dua validator media dan dua ahli praktis (Guru). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam  penelitian adalah lembar wawancara, angket kebutuhan peserta didik, angket validasi dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli praktis termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Hasil respon peserta didik pada aspek materi, tampulan dan bahasa termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil kelayakan dan uji respon dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar e-komik telah layak secara konseptual dan bahan ajar e-komik mendapatkan respon  positif oleh sebagian besar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP.   Kata Kunci: CTL, e-komik, pencernaan   ABSTRACT   This study aims to produce Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based e-comic teaching materials on human digestive system material validated by experts. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model. The e-comic teaching materials are tested for feasibility by three material expert validators, two media validators and two practical experts. The instruments used in the study were interview sheets, questionnaires on the needs of students and questionnaires of student responses. Validation results by material experts, media experts and practical experts fall into the category of very valid. The results of students' responses to aspects of material, tampulan and language are included in the excellent category. Based on the results of the feasibility and response test, it can be concluded that the e-comic teaching materials are conceptually feasible and the e-comic teaching materials have received a positive response by most of the students of class VIII junior high school.   Keywords : CTL, disgetion, e-comic

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan E-book bagi siswa SMP berdasarkan keragaman capung di Kawasan Persawahan Pagar Gading Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Reseach and Devolopment yang mengacu  pada langkah penelitian dan pengembangan Sugiyono (2017) yang telah dimodifikasi. Langkah penelitian disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peneliti, yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, dan revisi desain. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data keragaman jenis capung dianalisis secara deskriptif. Uji validasi E-book meliputi aspek isi materi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafisan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak 15 spesies capung dengan 5 famili dan 2 subordo, yaitu 9 spesies dari famili Libellulidae (Crocothemis erythraea, Crocothemis servilia, Diplacodes trivialis, Neurothemis ramburii, Neurothemis terminata, Orthetrum sabina, Pantala plavescens, Potamarcha congener, Trithemis aurora), 3 spesies dari famili Coenagrionidae (Agriocnemis femina, Ischnura senegalensis, Pseudagrion rubriceps), 1 spesies dari famili Platycnemididae (Copera marginipes), 1 spesies dari famili Chlorocyphidae (Libellago sumatrana)  dan 1 spesies dari famili Protoneuridae (Prodasineura verticalis). Hasil uji validasi E-book oleh ahli media 97,6%, ahli materi 96,4%, dan ahli praktisi (guru IPA SMP) 85,7%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa desain E-book yang dikembangkan berdasarkan keragaman capung di kawasan persawahan Pagar Gading Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan ini sangat layak untuk diuji cobakan sebagai media belajar keanekaragaman hayati SMP kelas VII.   Kata kunci: Capung, Persawahan, Pagar Gading, E-book   ABSTRACT     This study aims to produce E-book for SMP students based on the diversity of dragonflies in the rice fields of Pagar Gading, South Bengkulu Regency. This type of research is Research and Development which refers to the Research and Development steps of Sugiyono (2017) which has been modified. The research steps are adjusted to the needs of researchers, potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique for the diversity of dragonflies was analyzed descriptively. The E-book validation test covers aspects of material content, presentation, language, and graphics. Based on the results of the study found as many as 15 species of dragonflies with 5 families and 2 suborders, namely 9 species from the family Libellulidae (Crocothemis erythraea, Crocothemis servilia, Diplacodes trivialis, Neurothemis ramburii, Neurothemis terminata, Orthetrum sabina, Pantala plavescens, Potamarcha congener, Trithemis aurora), 3 species from family Coenagrionidae  (Agriocnemis femina, Ischnura senegalensis, Pseudagrion rubriceps), 1 species from family Platycnemididae (Copera marginipes), 1 species from family Chlorocyphidae (Libellago sumatrana) and 1 species from family Protoneuridae (Prodasineura verticalis). The results of the E-book validation test by media experts were 97,6%, material experts 96,4%, and expert practitioners (Science teachers of SMP) 85,7%. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas VII  SMPN 11 Kota Bengkulu dalam materi pemanasan global. Penelitian yang diterapakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik sampel random sampling yang sebelumnya telah diuji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh siswa kelas VII E. Jumlah siswa yang terlibat sebanyak 29 siswa yang terdiri dari 16 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental Design tipe One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk hasil belajar IPA. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan memberikan lembar soal berupa pretest (tes awal) dan postest (tes akhir) di setiap pertemuan. Hasil analisis data, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model problem based learning berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar, yaitu hasil uji-t pada thitung sebesar 1.756 lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1.703. Sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil ini juga memperkuat bahwa homogen, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh nyata (signifikan) variabel x (Pembeljaran IPA model Problem Based Learning) terhadap variabel Y (hasil belajar) dengan taraf signifikan 5%.  Kata  kunci : Problem Based Learning, Pemanasan Global, Hasil Belajar.   ABSTRACT   The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) model on the science learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMPN 11 Bengkulu City in the matter of global warming. The research applied is quantitative research. The research sample was taken using a random sampling technique that had previously been tested for normality and homogeneity, obtained by class VII E students. The number of students involved were 29 students consisting of 16 male students and 13 female students. The type of this research is Pre-Experimental Design type One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Data collection techniques using tests for science learning outcomes. Data collection on student learning outcomes is done by giving question sheets in the form of pretest (initial test) and posttest (final test) in each meeting. The results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the problem based learning model has a positive effect on learning outcomes, namely the t-test results at tcount of 1,756 are greater than ttable of 1,703. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This result also strengthens that it is homogeneous, so it can be concluded that there is a significant (significant) effect of variable x (Problem Based Learning model of Science) on variable Y (learning outcomes) with a significant level of 5%.   Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Global Warming, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian Deskriptif Kuantitatif ,karena penelitian ini bersifat mengkaji atau menggambarkan keadaan atau kondisi yang ada dilapangan. Penelitian deskriptif  kuantitatif tidak perlu mencari atau menerangkan hubungan antara variabel, menguji hipotesis dan lain sebagianya. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif hanya mencoba menggambarkan apa adanya. Jenis penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan melihat pada 4 aspek utama yakni memahami masalah, memberikan argumen, melakukan induksi, dan mengambil keputusan dalam menyelesaikan soal uraian seputar materi pencemaran lingkungan tujuan penelitian ini untuk Mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa ke VII di SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu dalam pembelajaran IPA pada Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil data siswa bahwa secara umum keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bengkulu berada pada kategori rendah yakni sebesar 0,42% dimana hampir dari setengah partisipan berada pada kategori ini. Peringkat kedua ada pada kategori sedang sebesar 0,30%, disusul oleh kategori tinggi sebesar 0,25%, dan persentase paling rendah  adalah kategori sangat tinggi 0,03%. Dari  hasil analisis data yang telah diteliti, dapat ditarik kesimpulan dari keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi pencemaran lingkungan, yaitu nilai rata-rata indikator dengan rata-rata 60,63% dan dengan kategori rendah. Kata kunci : Analisis, Berpikir Siswa, Pencemaran Lingkungan,SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu.                                      ABSTRACT This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research, because this research is to examine or describe the conditions or conditions that exist in the field. Quantitative descriptive research does not need to find or explain the relationship between variables, test hypotheses and others in part. Quantitative descriptive research only tries to describe what is. This type of research was conducted to determine students' critical thinking skills by looking at 4 main aspects, namely understanding the problem, giving arguments, conducting inductions, and making decisions in solving descriptions about environmental pollution material. at SMPN 9 Bengkulu City in learning science on Environmental Pollution Materials. Based on the results of student data that in general the critical thinking skills of SMP Negeri 9 Bengkulu City students are in the low category, namely 0.42% where almost half of the participants are in this category. The second rank is in the medium category of 0.30%, followed by the high category of 0.25%, and the lowest percentage is the very high category of 0.03%. From the results of data analysis that has been researched, conclusions can be drawn from critical thinking skills on environmental pollution material, namely the average value of indicators with an average of 60.63% and in the low category.  Keywords: Analysis, Student Thinking, Environmental Pollution, SMPN 9 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk dan mengetahui kelayakan e-modul IPA Terpadu untuk melatihkan keterampilan generik sains siswa pada materi energi dalam sistem kehidupan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan 4D yang pada penerapannya dibatasi menjadi 3D yaitu define, design, dan development. Hasil analisis angket kebutuhan guru di sekolah tersebut didapatkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 91% dengan kategori “sangat setuju”, sedangkan hasil analisis angket kebutuhan siswa di sekolah tersebut didapatkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 86% dengan kategori “sangat setuju”. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat melalui penyebaran angket kebutuhan guru dan siswa tersebut bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan sangat dibutuhkan oleh guru dan siswa di sekolah tersebut. Hasil validasi ahli materi terhadap produk akhir e-modul diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori “sangat layak”, sedangkan pada validasi ahli media terhadap produk akhir emodul diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata sebesar 100% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil uji keterbacaan produk oleh guru diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata sebesar 88% dengan kategori “sangat layak”, sedangkan hasil uji keterbacaan produk oleh siswa diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata sebesar 86,5% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan uji keterbacaan guru dan siswa yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan sudah ”sangat layak” untuk dilanjutkan pada uji coba lapangan.   Kata kunci: Penelitian dan Pengembangan, E-Modul, Keterampilan Generik Sains   ABSTRACT   This research is a research and development (R&D) which aims to produce a product and find out the feasibility of the integrated science e-module to train students' generik science skills on energy matter in living systems. The development model used in this study is a 4D development model which in its application is limited to 3D, namely define, design, and development. The results of the questionnaire analysis of teacher needs at the school obtained an average percentage of 91% with the "strongly agree" category, while the results of the questionnaire analysis on student needs at the school obtained an average percentage of 86% with the "strongly agree" category. Based on the results obtained through the distribution of the questionnaire on the needs of teachers and students, the e-module developed is very much needed by teachers and students at the school. The results of material expert validation on the final e-module product obtained an average score percentage of 87.5% with the "very decent" category, while the media expert validation of the e-module final product obtained an average score percentage of 100% with the “very decent” category. The results of the product readability test by the teacher obtained an average score percentage of 88% in the "very decent" category, while the results of the product readability test by students obtained an average score percentage of 86.5% in the "very decent" category. Based on expert validation and the teacher and student readability tests that have been carried out, it can be said that the e-module developed is feasible to be continued in field trials.   Keywords: Research and Development, E-Module, Science Generic Skill

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Pembelajaran IPA merupakan salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dengan pendekatan etnosains. Pembelajaran yang memadukan etnosains dan sains ilmiah mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep-konsep sains ilmiah dan pembelajaran lebih bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan merekonstruksi bahan ajar IPA tentang pengetahuan lokal masyarakat tanaman jarak pagar berbasis MER (Model of Educational Reconstruction) dengan terintegrasi materi partikel penyusun benda dan makhluk hidup yang layak. Prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar menggunakan model RnD (Research and Development) dengan 3 tahapan, yaitu Define, Design, dan Develop. Berdasarkan hasil analisis konsepsi peserta didik pada tahap define, sebanyak 62,68% peserta didik tidak paham konsep terhadap materi tersebut, sehingga perlu dimunculkan konteks etnosains dalam bahan ajar agar peserta didik lebih memahami konsep.  Berdasakan hasil validasi para ahli dengan mendapatkan skor 0,895 dan 0,87 dengan kriteria layak dan dapat diuji keefektifannya.   Kata  kunci: MER, Bahan Ajar, Etnosains, Jarak Pagar (Jatropha curcas L)   ABSTRACT   Science learning is one of the lessons that can be used with an ethnoscience approach. Learning that combines ethnoscience and scientific science can increase students’ understanding of science concepts and make learning more meaningful. This study aims to reconstruct natural science teaching materials abiut local knowledge of Jatropha curcas communities based on MER (Model of Educational Reconstruction) with integrated particle material that makes up objects and viable living things .The procedure of developing teaching materials uses the RnD (Research and Development) model with 3 stages, namely define, design, and develop. Based on the results of the analysis of students’ conceptions at the define stage, as many as 62,68% of students don’t understand the concept of the material, so it is necessary to bring up the ethnoscience context in teaching materials so that students better understand the concept. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X dalam pembelajaran kimia melalui model problem based learning (PBL). Dilaksanakan pada Februari - Maret 2023 sebanyak tiga siklus dengan tahapan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan dan observasi, 3) refleksi. Jumlah  sampel penelitian adalah 32 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi penggunaan lembar observasi untuk memperoleh informasi aktivitas belajar siswa dan tes essay untuk mengumpulkan data kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dijadikan teknik untuk analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat dengan rata-rata siklus I sebesar 69%, siklus II sebesar 75%, dan siklus III sebesar 82%. Setiap siklus diperoleh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang mencapai 50,05% pada siklus I, 61,67% pada siklus II, dan 66,49% pada siklus III. Menurut temuan, penggunaan model PBL pada pembelajaran kimia mendorong peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan keterampilan berfikir kritis dalam kegiatan pembelajaran abad ke-21.   Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, keterampilan berfikir kritis, pembelajaran abad ke-21, problem based learning   ABSTRACT   The reasearch are aimed at recognizing increased learning activities and critical thought capabilities of high school x - school students on chemical learning using the problem based learning model. The study is conducted as many as three cycles with the stages of planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Research time was carried out in February - March 2023. There were 32 students in the study samples. Data gathering techniques through test instruments learn to pick up data of students' critical thinking skill sand observation sheets to pick up data of students' learning activities. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. Research shows that there is an increase in student learning activity with a 69% average percentage of the I cycles, 75% of the II and 82% of the cycle III. Whereas whereas the attainment of critical thinking skills of the students at 50.05% of the I cycles, 61.67% of the cycles, and the III's 66.49%. This data shows that there has been an improvement in critical thinking skills and student learning activities at 21st-century learning using problem based learning models in chemical subjects.   Keywords: Learning activities, Chritical thinking skill, 21st century, problem based learning
