Abstract

One of the appropriate learning strategies for this is learning with the Pakem approach. By utilizing the school environment as a learning resource, the implementation of standard learning will enable students to develop creativity, motivation and participation in learning. From the observations of prospective researchers as school supervisors, so far the teachers at SD Negeri 004 Pendalian IV Koto, very rarely and never even use the school environment as a source of learning. The implementation of this research begins with data collection using an observation format, learning scenario assessment instruments and learning implementation assessment instruments. Furthermore, the data that has been collected is analyzed using descriptive analysis, the result is that in the first cycle the average value obtained from the attitude of the teacher in discussing the discussion is 79.38 in the "enough" category, while in the second cycle the average value obtained is 84.88, the "good" category, the average value obtained from the assessment of learning scenarios in the first cycle is 78.75 the "enough" category while in the second cycle the average value obtained is 82.50, the average value obtained from the implementation assessment learning in the first cycle is 78.33 "enough" category, while in the second cycle the average value obtained is 82.08 "good" category. cycle II, there was an increase in each component.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementing distance learning with learning video media and improving mathematics learning outcomes for integer material. The research subjects were sixth grade students of SD Negeri 022 Rambah. The research subjects were 28 students consisting of 14 male students and 14 female students. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with Learning Video media. The data in this study are observations, documentation and tests. Research instrument in the form of observation sheets and test questions. Data analysis used qualitative description technique. Based on observations, it was found that in the process of learning mathematics, especially distance learning, students' learning motivation decreased. This resulted in student learning outcomes are not optimal, so teachers need to conduct Classroom Action Research. This Classroom Action Research is one of the efforts to improve mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it was concluded that the learning outcomes of mathematics in distance learning with learning video media increased. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in mathematics learning outcomes which is marked by an increase in the achievement of the KKM score, in the first cycle students who reach the KKM as much as 64.29% increase to 89.29% in the second cycle. Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted at SD Negeri 0415 Huta Raja Lama in class IIA for the 2020/2021 academic year. Actions are taken by applying the discovery method to improve students' mathematics learning mastery. Discovery learning method is a learning method that can improve students' thinking skills to solve the problems they face. By using the discovery method, student learning completeness in each cycle changes and improves. This is evidenced by the achievement of pre-cycle test results, the average percentage is only 29.03% and at the end of the second cycle it reaches 87.10%. The application of the demonstration method can improve the competence of class II students SD Negeri 0415 Huta Raja Lama

Abstract

This research was based on classroom action research. The main objective of this research was to know the improvement in students writing skill in writing paragraph through an outline strategy. This research was done at fifth grade students of five Government Primary Schools located at D. G. Khan city. The participants of this research were 15 students of grade five. Such participants were selected through random sampling technique. The obtained data was analyzed in percentage. Pre-Test and Post-Test used as an instrument in this research. In both Pre-Test and Post-Test required items like paragraph title writing, grammar, spelling and total sentences (length) of paragraph were same. In Pre-Test, outline strategy in paragraph writing was not employed but in Post-Test such strategy was used. According to findings, in Pre-Test students writing paragraph were 20.00%, 26.66%, 20.00%, 26.66% (Good), 46.66%, 20.00%, 33.33%, 33.33% (Average), 33.33%, 53.33%, 46.66%, 40.00% (Weak) in paragraph writing title, proper use of grammar, correct spelling and total sentences (length) of paragraph, respectively. After Pre-Test, instructor taught participants about writing paragraph through an outline strategy for a period of 4 weeks and then conducted Post-Test. In this test, participants writing paragraph through an outline strategy were 46.66%, 53.33%, 60.00%, 53.33% (Good), 40.00%, 26.66%, 33.33%, 40.00% (Average), 13.33%, 20.00%, 6.66%, 6.66% (Weak) in paragraph writing title, proper use of grammar, correct spelling and total sentences (length) of paragraph, respectively. This action-based research demonstrated that outline strategy can improve the students writing skills.

Abstract

This research starts from the problem of intensive reading learning in schools that has not been managed optimally. The teacher does not use the stages in the reading process and has not applied the strategies in the reading learning process so that it has an impact on the low reading skills of students and less involvement of students. The aim of the study is to improve reading skills intensively with the SQ3R strategy (survey, read, recite, review) in Class VI of SD Negeri 021 Tambusai, Rokan Hulu Regency. Research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research chosen is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in the study were students of class VI Elementary School 021 Tambusai in Rokan Hulu Regency in the first semester of the 2016/2016 academic year with 9 students. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. The research data is collected by observations in the form of observation sheets and then reflected to take action in the next cycle. The results showed that intensive reading learning with the application of the SQ3R strategy could improve the intensive reading skills of students in class VI.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes which are marked by the number of student scores who have not reached the KKM, this is because the method used by the teacher does not attract the attention of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of learning outcomes in theme 4 through the STEAM approach to the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 0411 Pasar Ujung Batu. This research is classroom action research which consists of 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The data sources in this study were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 0411 Pasar Ujung Batu, totaling 25 students in the 2020/2021 school year and the sample was determined by the entire population. The data are the results of the initial test, the results of the final test. Data analysis techniques through quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results of the initial test in this study obtained a percentage (34.7%) in the first cycle (60.9%) and (100%) in the second cycle. It was concluded that the STEAM approach could improve the learning outcomes of fourth graders at SD Negeri 0411 Pasar Ujung Batu on theme 4

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Indonesian subjects. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the application of the reconnecting method can improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language subjects for Class II students of SD Negeri 0511 Batang Date Jae. As the subjects in this study, there were 24 students of class II SD Negeri 0511 Batang Date Jae. While the object of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through the reconnecting method. The place of this research is at SD Negeri 0511 Batang Date Jae, especially in class II. The successful application of the reconnecting method on Indonesian language subjects from before the action (pre-action), cycle I, and cycle II. Before the action, student learning outcomes only reached an average percentage of 41.67%, after the action in the first cycle increased to 70.83%, while the second cycle increased to 87.50%. This means that the success of students has reached the success indicators that have been set, which is above 75%. Thus, it can be concluded that through the reconnecting method, it can improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian Class II students SD Negeri 0511 Batang Tanggal Jae

Abstract

ABSTRACT Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the emerging technologies which allow the co-existing of physical and virtual objects and support real time interaction. Augmented reality consists of merging live images with virtual layers of information. These layers of information consist of three-dimensional (3-D) models that include content, images, sounds, and videos. In addition, AR has been defined as a real time direct or indirect view of a physical real world environment that has been enhanced by adding virtual computer generated information to it. This study assessed undergraduates’ awareness and readiness to adopt augmented reality applications for learning in University of Ilorin, Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive research design of the survey type. A researcher-designed instrument was used to elicit responses from one hundred and sixty (160) undergraduates. Answers were provided to two research questions and one research hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The findings of this study revealed that many undergraduates claimed that they have heard of augmented reality and its applications for learning. Undergraduates are ready to adopt augmented reality applications for learning. No significant differences in the male and female readiness to adopt augmented reality applications for learning. The study concluded that undergraduates’ readiness to adopt augmented reality applications for learning is high and so is their awareness of augmented reality applications for learning. AR will change the traditional classroom setting of one on one teaching to virtual learning. Thus, the study recommended that students should be encouraged to utilize more augmented reality applications thereby giving them more awareness of its wide range of applications.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to find out how to improve speaking skills using vocabulary card media in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 0411 Ujung Batu in the academic year 2020/2021; (2) to determine the form of planning and implementation of learning to speak using vocabulary card media: (3) to find out the obstacles and results obtained from learning to speak using vocabulary card media, consisting of 20 students. This study also uses 2 (two) cycles starting from February to May 2021. From the results of the learning activities, it can be concluded as follows: (1) learning using vocabulary card media has a positive impact on improving speaking skills marked by an increase in students' speaking in each cycle, namely the first cycle obtained an average of 66.25 and in the second cycle obtained an average of 80; (2) the application of vocabulary card media in speaking skills has a positive influence, namely students are able to express and express ideas, and the results of students' scores meet the minimum completeness criteria

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research which is motivated by the low achievement of students in mathematics. The formulation of the research problem is how to apply the demonstration method to improve mathematics learning achievement for grade 1 students at SD Negeri 0511 Batang Tangal Jas for the 2020/2021 academic year. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the Demonstration method strategy that could improve the mathematics learning achievement of the first graders of State Elementary School 0511 Batang Tangal Jas. The research subjects were the first grade students of the 0511 Batang Tangal Jas State Elementary School, which amounted to 20 people. The object of the research is the application of the Demonstration method and the achievement of learning mathematics. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of the Demonstration method could improve the mathematics learning achievement of class I students Sekolah Dasar Negeri 0511 Batang Tangal Jas
