Abstract

National education should be able to cultivate and deepen the love of the homeland, strengthen the spirit of nationalism and sense of social solidarity. This study aims to provide information / information for Civics teachers about the development of inquiry methods in learning Civics in Class VI SD. Subjects in this study were the sixth grade students SDN 001 Bangun Purba active 24 people. Data collection at present uses both test and non-test techniques. Parameters used are Student Outcomes Includes learning activities and student learning outcomes. The results showed that the use of inquiry method was better (7,46) than did not use inquiry method (5,7). It needs to be done to add time by reducing the time is not too large points.

Abstract

This study investigated the influence of physical activity level on the quality of life among academic staff of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo. Expo-facto research design was used in the study. All staff of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo formed the population. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 39 respondents for the study. The adapted International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) and the adapted World Health Organization Health Related Quality of Life (WHO-HRQoL) Questionnaire were used to obtain information from the respondents. Data were analysed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and independent sample t-test. The results of the findings showed that there is significant difference, t(37) = -3.638, p < .05, between the quality of life of physically inactive academic staff (M = 58.50 ± 2.51) and physically active academic staff (M = 77.03 ± 10.04) of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo and the t-test value t(37) = -4.112, p < .0001; was obtained for psychological wellbeing. Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that physically active academic staff have better quality of life and psychological health than the physically inactive academic staff of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo. It was recommended that there should be adequate sensitization of the staff about the importance of engaging in physical activities during conferences, seminar, health talk and so on . by the physical and health educators and the school management should organize periodic health enhancing physical activity programmes for the staff like fitness walk or jogging once in a month.

Abstract

One of the appropriate learning strategies for this is learning with the Pakem approach. By utilizing the school environment as a learning resource, the implementation of standard learning will enable students to develop creativity, motivation and participation in learning. From the observations of prospective researchers as school supervisors, so far the teachers at SD Negeri 004 Pendalian IV Koto, very rarely and never even use the school environment as a source of learning. The implementation of this research begins with data collection using an observation format, learning scenario assessment instruments and learning implementation assessment instruments. Furthermore, the data that has been collected is analyzed using descriptive analysis, the result is that in the first cycle the average value obtained from the attitude of the teacher in discussing the discussion is 79.38 in the "enough" category, while in the second cycle the average value obtained is 84.88, the "good" category, the average value obtained from the assessment of learning scenarios in the first cycle is 78.75 the "enough" category while in the second cycle the average value obtained is 82.50, the average value obtained from the implementation assessment learning in the first cycle is 78.33 "enough" category, while in the second cycle the average value obtained is 82.08 "good" category. cycle II, there was an increase in each component.

Abstract

Kondisi rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas II tersebut, penulis atasi dengan menerapkan metode inkuiri terbimbing. Pemilihan metode inkuiri terbimbing karena dengan inkuiri, siswa tidak disuapkan langsung untuk memahami materi pelajaran, tetapi melalui pemberian contoh, ilustrasi-ilustrasi kemudian siswa tersebut dipandu atau dibimbing untuk mengambil simpulan dari contoh dan keterangan yang diberikan. Dengan cara seperti ini siswa lebih aktif dan beusaha untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir dan bernalar. Jika cara ini dilakukan maka dengan sendirinya kemampuan siswa dalam bidang IPA semakin baik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 004 Rokan iv Koto Jumlah subjek penelitian 29 orang dengan perincian 16 orang perempuan dan 13 orang laki-laki. Desaian prosedur perbaikan pembelajaran ini terdiri atas empat tahapan yakni tahap: (1) perencanaan tindakan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan evaluasi, serta (4) refleksi. Keempat tahapan itu selalu dilaksanakan setiap kali pelaksanaan perbaikan pembelajaran. Pada bagian berikut ini diuraikan satu persatu perincian keempata tahapan tersebut. Hasil analisis data yang dideskripsikan di atas menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada siswa kelas II meningkat dari siklus I dan siklus II. Terjadinya peningkatan nilai yang diperoleh siswa didukung meningkatnya aktivitas guru dalam menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, metode yang tepat yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan kebutuhan belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to read beginning with letter card media in grade 1 State Elementary School 005 Kepenuhan. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which is descriptive qualitative using a qualitative approach that is strengthened by a quantitative approach, taking the background of the 005 Kepenuhan State Elementary School. The subjects of this study were grade 1 students at State Elementary School 005 Kepenuhan, while the object of this research was the improvement of initial reading skills using letter cards on the theme of Living and Non-Living Objects Around Me. This research was conducted in three cycles and through four stages which include: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, reading tests, and documentation. The results showed that letter card media could improve students' initial reading skills. The increase in student learning activities can be measured from evaluations I, II, and III with the value of student learning activities in the first cycle of 68.04%, the second cycle of 73.04%, and the third cycle of 75.86%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the model STAD type cooperative learning in improving student learning outcomes in the eye Thematic lessons for class IV SD Negeri 0413 Ampolu for the 2020/2021 academic year. Technique data collection through observation sheets to determine student learning activities and question sheet to find out student learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques in this study namely by using the formula for improving learning outcomes, the interpretation of the activity scale study. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that by applying the model STAD cooperative type can improve student learning outcomes in grade IV SD Negeri 0413 Ampolu on thematic material in the first cycle student learning outcomes reached 83% completeness in the second cycle reached 93%. With an average learning outcome of 83.3 to 87.3. Abstract

It is a requirement for educational institutions including madrasah (islamic educational institution) to have good and solid performance appraisal and professional development programs for their employees. Performance appraisal is intended for both faculty members and non teaching staff, while professional development is only emphasized for faculty members with a permanent employment status. The author seeks to explore the issue of the effectiveness of the educational institution in this case madrasah in its effort on staffing optimization. Like other aspects, staffing is influenced by organizational dynamics. Specifically, this study focuses on the dynamics of managing employees’ security for both faculty members and non teaching staffs as well as remuneration and career development opportunities

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of Civics by using concept map strategy. The type of research is classroom action research with research procedure consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that in the first cycle the percentage of students' learning completeness to 78% and to 89% in the evaluation of cycle II as a refinement cycle I. Abstract

The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes in the subjects of Natural Sciences. Meanwhile, the purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes of natural science students in class VI of the State Elementary School 0802 Tamiang by using a written opinion submission technique strategy. This research is a type of classroom action research with the research subjects being teachers and students of class VI of the State Elementary School 0802 Tamiang with a total of 24 students. While the object of this research is the application of cooperative script learning model to improve learning outcomes of Natural Sciences (IPA) on the subject of the earth and the universe. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of the Cooperative Script learning model could improve the mathematics learning outcomes of the sixth graders of the 0802 Tamiang State Elementary School. This increase is based on the classical percentage obtained from pre-action, which is 41.67% reaching the KKM, increasing in the next cycle which is 70.83% in the first cycle with an average student learning outcome reaching 75 in good category, and in the second cycle into a very good category with classical completeness that is 91.67% of the total number of students in the class and is in the range of 81%-100%, with an average student learning outcome of 83.67

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a product in the form of lecture model of STAD type cooperative learning assisted by Mind Map in the Legal Aspect course, this type of research is development research. The development model used is the 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely: defining, designing, developing and disseminating. This research was conducted with 30 students. This development process in the Construction Industry is valid, practical, and effective, using the STAD type cooperative learning model aided by Mind Map. The results showed that the lecture tools produced were valid, practical, and effective. This is seen based on the value of the validity, practicality and effectiveness of lecturing devices. The value of the validity of the set of lectures by experts is 0.89 valid categories and by practitioners is 0.91 valid categories. Practicality value is obtained from the Lecturer response questionnaire and Student response questionnaire. The practicality value by lecturers is 87.2% categorized as very practical. The practicality value by students is 89.2% categorized as very practical. The effectiveness value of the lecture set is obtained from the assessment of student activity and learning outcomes. The value of student attitudes is 75.82% categorized as very good, the average value of student knowledge is 80.00% categorized as good, and the average value of student skills is 76.73% categorized as good. Thus, this research has produced a lecture tool on Legal Aspects in the Construction Industry Using the STAD cooperative learning model assisted with Mind Map in the Legal, Legal Aspect in Construction Industry courses that are valid, practical, and effective.
