SISI LAIN REALITA is a valuable resource for academics and researchers in crime, whether they be from criminology, sociology, anthropology, psychology, law, economics, politics or social work, and for professionals concerned with crime, law, criminal justice, politics, and penology. The study criminology have some paradigm. First, Classical Criminology, Modern Criminology, Feminist Criminology and Post Modern Criminology. The Journal welcomes submissions from a variety of perspectives focusing on crime and society; and especially articles written from sociological, historical, philosophical, youth justice, feminist criminology, violence and victims, human trafficking, human right, news macking criminology, visual criminology, everyday life crime, cybercrime, transnational crime, geographical, environmental crime, economical crime, psychological, jurisprudential, cultural, political, or policy standpoints. Whilst the journal endeavours to be as inclusive as possible in terms of its content, its aim is also to publish the best work currently ongoing within the discipline. The two main criteria according to which articles submitted for publication will be assessed are: the degree to which the article contributes new knowledge to an understanding of crime and society; the overall quality of the argument and its presentation.

Abstract

Social media is a communication media used by all productive age groups and is the most sensitive place for many aspects of  life,  one of which is the social media instagram there so many technology crimes such as stalking occur and are committed. The purpose of this research is to find out how cyberstalking is formed on social media instagram. Researchers used qualitative method by conducting interview with sources who refferes to the routine activity theory. This phemonenon can lead to perpetrators and victims who can to be happen to anyone and anywhere due to existence of a place, a capable guardians, a suitable target and motivated offender. Cyberstalking can also be an extraordinary crime because it causes many effects of other crimes such as what happens in online comunniaction media today.

Abstract

Toxic relationships that can trigger violence against women can be caused by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that trigger the emergence of violence experienced by women in toxic relationship problems. This study uses qualitative research methods, namely the method used to examine the condition of natural objects with the researcher as the key instrument which is carried out by interviewing the resource person. Referring to the two theories used, namely Radical Feminism and Victimization, to see how women are targeted as victims of violence in toxic relationship issue

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of victim restitution as an alternative in solving minor criminal cases. This study aims to determine how the implementation of victim restitution as an alternative to mitigate minor crimes. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive type r by conducting interviews with key informants and related informants. Based on the research results, it shows that the settlement of minor criminal cases by implementing restitution to the victim can be carried out if both parties agree to resolve the problem. Meanwhile, the procedure for resolving minor criminal cases is based on restorative justice that focuses on deliberation. Restitution is an obligation that must be obtained by the victim because it will ease the victim’s  suffering. In the process of implementing restitution, the police acts as a mediator between the perpetrator and the victim, so the implementation runs smoothly without any obstacles. However, the implementation of restitution in minor criminal cases, especially in Pangkalan Kerinci Police Sector is not effective enough, therefore there is a need for socialization and further action to the community regarding restitution rights for victims, so the victims and community protection can be achieved.

Abstract

Even though the Indonesian state has Law No.11 of 2009 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions in Article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law which regulates criminal sanctions for perpetrators of bullying insults, this does not necessarily stop bullies from intensifying their actions in the media social.  An Indonesian public figure named Kekeyi is hotly discussed on Instagram.  Not everything done by Kekeyi received positive responses.  Kekeyi is one of the many public figures in Indonesia who experience cyberbullying on social media.  Research aims to determine the forms of cyberbullying that Kekeyi accepted on his Instagram account because cyberbullying has various forms.  This study uses a visual criminology method with content analysis. The theoretical basis used is critical victimology theory.  Based on the visuals and data analysis conducted, it is concluded that all forms of cyberbullying by Price & Dalgleish (2010) have been experienced by the public figure of Rahmawati Kekeyi on Instagram social media.  Which consists of called names (giving negative names), image of victim spread, threats to physical safety (threatened physical harm), and opinion slammed (derogatory opinion).  In the context of cyberbullying, it was found that cyberbully in the form of opinion slammed is a form of cyberbullying that is mostly experienced by Kekeyi. And most occur in the comments column.

Abstract

Cyber ​​harrasment is the result of improper use of the internet and it is a verbal crime where most of the victims are children and adolescents. This crime need internet as a media to do these acts. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between the use of social media Instagram and the vulnerability of of cyber harrasment victims. The research uses quantitative methods, with correlational approach. The research analyzed the behaviour of the Instagram users at @anaksekolahpku account. The result of this research showed that that there the teenagers who made an Instagram become part of their lives. They even deliberately include their personal identities and daily activities for public consumption. This is related to the result of the research about the vulnerability of victims of cyber harassment, where teenagers even get / provide some comments, vulgar videos, personal messages, etc., which lead to cyber harassment. So, it can be concluded that there was significant relationship between the use of social media Instagram and the vulnerability of of cyber harrasment victims.

Abstract

Sexual exploitation are those who are involved in prostitution, services or sex workers or become objects of pornographic activities caused by the economy and exploitation by prostitution of others is an activity to earn money and other benefits from prostitution activities. the theory that researchers use where researchers use rational choice theory why researchers use rational choice theory because rational choice theory intends criminals to think rationally to commit the crimes they commit by knowing the consequences of their actions but also continuing to commit the crimes they commit. Like the case that the researcher studied, this theory is certainly closely related because the husband with his rational choice makes the victim a commercial sex worker to get money and other benefits.

Abstract

The phenomenon of prostitution can be said as a crime, where that prostitutiom was activities and action who violates the regulations and norm that apply in the community are include deviant acts. Now in digital era this act develop, be it in terms of actors or practice. Like what happened on Pekanbaru city there is online prostitutipn carried out by minors with michat application. This research do with qualitative and descriptive method meaning to desribe and solve problem this research, with rational choice theory whic causes minors to become actor of prostitution was a based on that choice and fullfilling of life.

Abstract

The child is someone who is not yet eighteen years old and in carrying out his life, the child must be fulfilled every right he has and get attention and protection in the process of growth and development. However, in several big cities in Indonesia, not all children can grow and develop properly including children experiencing intimidation, violence, exploitation, as happened in Pekanbaru city where there is prostitution involving children, this research was conducted in Pekanbaru city which focused on the jurisdiction Polresta Pekanbaru and included in the type of descriptive qualitative research where based on interviews resulted in data findings that there are police efforts and strategies in preventing child prostitution. Then an analysis is carried out using the theory of crime prevention, namely pre-emptive which includes prevention by instilling values ​​and norms into the community as a form of early prevention, preventive by preventing crime before the occurrence of a crime by suppressing the opportunity to commit a crime, repressive is an effort made when the crime occurs. happened and the police enforce the law.

Abstract

This study examines and discusses the problem of children who are victims of violence within the family. This is motivated by the endless number of acts of violence against children. Children should get protection and love by their families, but now children are even victims of violence by their own families and even their own parents which is called child maltreatment. But what is unfortunate is that this is considered normal by the community. Violence that usually occurs by children includes physical violence, psychological violence, sexsual violence, and social violence. In this study, we want to discuss what forms of child maltreatment are and what causes child maltratment, where we know that acts of violence will be dangerous in the development and life of the child. The research method used in this research is qualitative research which aims to describe the actual situation of what is happening at the research site through collecting, identifying, and analyzing data so as to obtain answers to the formulated problems. So this study concludes that the cause of child maltreatment victims is due to parental disputes and lack of understanding in educating children and lack of concern for the surrounding community. This is expected to be a lesson so that no more children become victims of domestic violence committed by their own parents

Abstract

In essence, children are the next generation of the nation, so treating children well is our collective obligation, so that children can grow and develop well. This study discusses the form of protection for children who are victims of same-sex sexual crimes in Rokan Hilir Regency which are handled by the DP2KBP3A service. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research by conducting interviews with key informants and informants. in this study include the Head of the DP2KBP3A Service, Child Protection Division, Advocacy Section for Child Information Facilities, Community Leaders, Victims, Victims' Families, using data obtained by researchers which are then associated with criminological theory showing that the form of protection from DP2KBP3A Rokan Hilir district in handling cases of same-sex sexual crimes against children, starting with reporting, then outreach to victims, case management, temporary shelter in safe houses, then mediation, assisting victims and conducting outreach activities in sub-districts and villages in the district n Rokan Downstream.
