Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bedasarkan pengamatan bahwa kemampuan Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 3 Tuban belum memuaskan. Hasil dari ulangan semester terakhir menunjukkan bahwa diantara 72 siswa 2 kelas, hampir 75 % tidak mencapai nilai standar ketuntasan minimum 75 yang ditentukan sekolah. Sebagian besar kesulitan mereka adalah selain motivasi belajarnya kurang, penguasaan kosa kata dan juga pemahaman tata Bahasa masih kurang. Untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan memperbaiki kemampuan Bahasa Inggris siswa khususnya terkait dengan tata bahasa (grammar), maka dalam penelitian ini dirancang dan diterapkan kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan model Discovery Learning dengan menggunakan media aplikasi Zenius. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tahapan-tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan penilaian hasil proses belajar mengajar dan pengolahan data untuk menghasilkan simpulan. Pada kelas kontrol pembelajaran grammar dilaksanakan dengan cara konvensional dan pada kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model discovery learning dengan menggunakan e-learning dengan media Zenus.Hasil dari kedua kegiatan pembelajaran ini kemudian dibandingkan melalui instrumen kuisioner dan hasil belajar (test). Disinilah, berdasarkan hipotesa dan kajian ilmiah, motivasi dan hasil belajar dari proses pembelajaran ini telah menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan. Jadi penerapan model discovery learning bermedia Zenius berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris siswa

Abstract

Mata pelajaran IPS sesuai dengan namanya tentu diharapkan membantu siswa menjadi makluk sosial yang baik, yakni orang yang mampu bergaul dan berinteraksi dengan orang lain secara positif. Kurikulum IPS 2013 untuk SMP/MTs dijelaskan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) merupakan mata pelajaran yang mengkaji tentang isu-isu sosial dengan unsur kajiannya dalam konteks peristiwa, fakta, konsep dan generalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunaka pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan instrumen penelitian yang sudah dinyatakan valid dan reiabel, antara lain lembar angket dan soal tes. Peneliti melakukan analisis data penelitian menggunakan rumus t-test satu sampel dan korelasi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisa statistik tersebut, peneliti menyimpulan penelitian ini antara lain: 1) perpustakaan sebagai Media pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di SMP Negeri 2 Tragah Bangkalan cukup baik, 2) ada peningkatan budaya membaca siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tragah Bangkalan, 3) ada peningkatan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di SMP Negeri 2 Tragah Bangkalan, dan 4) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan perpustakaan sebagai media pembelajaran dan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di SMP Negeri 2 Tragah Bangkalan

Abstract

Numerous schools worldwide have closed during Covid-19 pandemic but students has several distraction when they study from home. Schools and universities have to continue with preparing learning method in any occasion like online lecture. Some study results show an increase in linkages using digital applications, one of which is Kahoot. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the acceptance and relationship of students with lectures through Kahoot in online lecture. In this study, 67 students of pre-service Madrasah/ Primary teachers at a Siliwangi Islamic College were chosen as a participant. The age of the students ranged from 19 to 30 years and they were students who were taught by the researcher. The research conducted of two phases. In the first phases, consist of an introduction, lectures, and Kahoot! Quiz each chapter. In the second phase students answering the questionnaire-based online using google form. Question points in the questionnaire included usability, ease of use, attitude, engagement skills, and interaction. The findings show that a whole respondents agree that Kahoot can improve their learning performance. In spite of encourage in taking a good notes and listening carefully in classroom, Kahoot is contribute students to having fun in the online lecture.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mana yang lebih efektif antara model pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis online dengan pembelajaran langsung berbasis online terhadap pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap mahasiswa terhadap matematika. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimental semu. Penelitian dilakukan di Institut Agama Islam Ma’arif NU Metro, Indonesia, pada tahun akademik 2020/2021. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester IV (empat) yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah geometri. Kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 31 mahasiswa sementara kelas kontrolnya berjumlah 30 mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket. Tes digunakan untuk melihat kemampuan berpikir kritis, sementara angket dalam bentuk skala Likert digunakan untuk mengukur sikap mahasiswa terhadap matematika. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik uji analisis variansi multivariat satu jalur. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa model pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis online lebih baik daripada pembelajaran langsung berbasis online terhadap pencapaian peserta didik dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap terhadap matematika, baik secara multivariat maupun univariat.

Abstract

A conditions that are different from other Normal Children in terms of mental, physical, and social characteristics called Children with Special Needs. Dyscalculia is a term referring to a wide range of difficulties with mathematics, including weaknesses in understanding the meaning of numbers, and difficulty applying mathematical principles to solve problems. The difference in conditions with other normal children, required a different approach in Teaching and Learning Activities of the other Normal Children. One of these different approaches is to use mobile learning devices as an effective learning media for Children with Special Needs to realize the material presented by the Teacher. This research was carried out for the 2020/2021 Students at Junior High School of Nurul Jadid, Karang Anyar Paiton Probolinggo. The purpose of this research is to produce an android application to help Children with Special Needs learn. This research method is research and development. The result of this research is that an android application has been produced as an effective learning media for children with special needs.

Abstract

The difficulties in English learning can be caused by the lack of media innovation in the learning. This study aims to develop an English e-module using a multicultural-based contextual teaching, and learning approach for grade V at elementary school, the effectiveness, and the effect of using that media. The method used the Research and Development of the Borg and Gall model that modified by Sugiyono, until the 7th step. The research objects were 42 students in grade V-A and V-B, and the data analysis showed that (1) The design of e-module development by analyzing the needs of learning media that produced in the form of an English E-Module focuses on a contextual approach, and conveys various cultures. In addition, it also provides a place to learn while playing, a colorful display to attract the interest of students to be motivated to learn English. (2) The results of product effectiveness by media experts are 99.5% from the first media expert, and 90.5% from the second media expert. The results of the subject validation analysis by the first subject expert are 93.25% and the second subject expert is 80.5% (3) Based on the data analysis of the pre-test and post-test scores with t-test analysis, it is known that the significance value is 0.00 < 0.05. The data above shows that there is a significant effect on the use of the English E-Module that has been developed to improve learning outcomes for grade V.
