Abstract

This type of research is action research (action research). The form used is guidance and counseling action research (PTBK). This study aims to eradicate student truancy behavior through behavioral group counseling services with assertive training techniques. The research subjects taken were students of class VII E of SMP Negeri 2 Gabus as many as 3 students who often skipped. The results of the first cycle the frequency of truancy decreased by 88.12% and from the second cycle to 100%. Based on the discussion of the results of the writing, it can be concluded that: Group counseling using a behavioral approach to assertive training techniques can reduce truancy behavior for class VII E students of SMP Negeri 2 Gabus. This is found from the attitude of the counselee who is able to be firm when a friend invites him to play truant (the counselee is able to say "no" to things that are considered inconsistent with his feelings). Group counseling with a behavioral approach to assertive training techniques carried out in cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the phenomena that exist among students, the problems that occur in students are toxic friendship communication, so to see how high the behavior is, the researchers conducted research at the Muslim Nusantara University Al-Washliyah. Problems that can be seen from the friendships made by students both in terms of speech and actions. Such as not wanting to lose to friends, not respecting opinions, depending on others, stubbornness and lack of empathy for fellow students. This research was shown after the treatment was given to 8 students. Counseling services as a form of treatment that researchers provide to see if there is a decrease in toxic friendship communication behavior in students. The real effect is obtained from the results of the linear regression test that the researchers did to find out whether there is an influence by providing group counseling services with a reality approach to toxic friendship communication. to predict the communication variable toxic friendship.

Abstract

This comparative study research aims to analyze the improvement of learning outcomes and analyze the effectiveness of the use of WhatsApp Group and Google Classroom Learning Media on learning outcomes during a pandemic emergency in class IX of SMP N 1 Gabus, Grobogan Regency. The quantitative approach includes: 1) analyzing the improvement of learning outcomes; 2) analyze the effectiveness of the media. The trial was carried out on 64 students, 32 students in class IX A used WhatsApp Group and class IX B had 32 students using Google Classroom. Data were collected by observation and documentation. The data on the effectiveness of the learning media were analyzed by means of gain, normality, and t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results of the comparative study for class IX A. Based on the calculation of N-gain, the results of the pre-test and post-test results for class IX A were 0.67 in the moderate category. Regarding the results of calculations in class IX B, there is an increase in N-gain with a score of 0.70 in the high category with an average pre-test score of 84 and post-test scores of 91. The significance value is 0.000 < = 0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the average posttest learning outcomes between Class IX A (WhatsApp Group) and Class IX B (Google Classroom). This shows that the post-test average for Class IX B (Google Classroom) is higher than the post-test average for Class IX A (WhatsApp Group) and thus H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This article discusses individual counseling of systematic desensitization techniques to reduce candy phobia. The client is a 23 year old woman who has a specific phobia of sweets. The methods used in this individual counseling are clinical interviews and observation. The results of clinical interviews at the first counseling meeting, the client was identified as having irrational thoughts about sweets. The client considers that candy is a dirty and disgusting object, the client also experiences excessive anxiety and fear when seeing, holding, touching the candy. The last time the client ate sweets was when he was 5 years old. This is due to the client's bad experience with candy. The client's parents strictly forbid the client not to eat sweets because the client often has problems with teeth, the client's parents scare the client about sweets which causes the client to develop bad thoughts about candy. Another thing that makes the client's fear and anxiety grow, the client's relatives often frighten the client and throw candy at the client, this makes the client (screaming, crying, holding his hands and running away from candy). The intervention given in this individual counseling was Systematic Desensitization which was carried out for 11 sessions. The purpose of this intervention is that the client is able to reduce anxiety and fear of candy and can respond naturally when seeing, holding, touching and eating candy. The results of the intervention the client was able to respond naturally when seeing, touching and holding candy, the client was also able to control anxiety and fear of candy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the relationship of peer conformity, namely the influence of social groups or peer groups that make individuals experience changes in attitude and behavior to suit the circumstances of the social groups around them. . with the procrastination of students at the Karya Jaya Tanjung Morawa PRIVATE SMP in the 2021/2022 academic year. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between peer conformity and student procrastination at the Karya Jaya Tanjung Morawa PRIVATE SMP in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational design. The population used in this study were all students of Karya Jaya Tanjung Morawa PRIVATE SMP, which amounted to 150 students. as for the number of samples used as many as 38 students with the technique of Sample Random Sampling. Based on the results of the research on the relationship between peer conformity and student procrastination at the PRIVATE SMP Karya Jaya Tanjung Morawa using the Product Moment correlation test calculation, so that the correlation test obtained is -0.370 with a high correlation coefficient. It can be concluded that peer conformity has a negative relationship with student procrastination, where the lower the peer conformity, the higher the procrastination of students at PRIVATE SMP Karya Jaya Tanjung Morawa in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the use of android-based educational games using the articulate storyline 3 application in science learning during the pandemic, (2) the learning experiences gained by students by using android-based educational games in science learning during the pandemics. This research used a qualitative descriptive research design. The subjects of this research were science teachers and students of class VII.1 MTsN 4 Pasaman . The object of this research is the use of android-based educational games using the articulate storyline 3 application in science learning. The data collection method used is the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are (1) the use of android-based educational games in science learning, first the students are in the learning process in the classroom, the teacher sends the game to all students in apk format, students install the application on their respective androids according to the teacher's direction, all students learn the material of elements, compounds, and mixtures in applications and take quizzes, (2) the learning experience gained by students by using android-based educational games, which makes it easier for students to understand the material of elements, compounds, and mixtures in learning, making learning more interesting, effective and efficient, motivating students in the learning process, and students' difficulties because some people don't have androids and have to join other students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the use of mind mapping video presentations using prezi in learning English , (2) the learning outcomes obtained by students using mind mapping presentation videos using prezi in learning English . This study uses a quantitative research design. The subjects of this study are class IX.2 MTsN 4 Pasaman students . The object of this research is the use of mind mapping video presentations using Prezi in learning English . The data collection method used is the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are the increase in the average level of student participation in learning English before the cycle is only 57% which consists of 7 indicators, namely attention by 60%, asking 54%, expressing opinions by 36%, understanding the material by 57%, solving problems by 60%, discipline by 70%.

Abstract

Active learning thinking based on computational thinking is a learning approach that is needed by students in facing the 21st century. This research aims to find out how the process of applying active learning thinking based on computational thinking to environmentally friendly technology processes and products at MTsN (Islamic Junior High school) 1 Tanah Datar and its effect on activities and the learning outcomes of ix students at MTsN (Islamic Junior High school) 1 Tanah Datar . This research is the best practice from the author whose data are qualitative and quantitative. The result of this research is the application of active thinking learning based on computational thinking is very well applied to environmentally friendly technology processes and products. It can be seen from the increase of students' activity with an average of 4.24 (four point twenty-four) by good category and an increase of student learning outcomes with an average 95 (ninety-five) in the daily assessment of these basic competencies .

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research is the application of the cooperative learning model (group-based) applied in the classroom which is motivated by the difficulties of students in the process of grazing in West Irian. The purpose of this learning improvement action is to improve the ability of students in the process of returning the West Irian to class IX.1 students with Competency Standards (SK) Understanding Efforts to Defend the Republic of Indonesia. The results , the implementation of cycle 1 in the classroom shows that by applying/using. Group-based learning model obtained an average score of 73.68 students. In cycle 2 the average score of students rose to 77.39. With the scientific learning model based on groups, it turns out that it can increase students' abilities in the material for the return process of West Irian. This competence can be seen from the first indicator , students are happy and active in learning activities. Second , the increasing ability of students in the process of returning west Irian. Thus in the learning process students are able to build their own concepts about learning materials from the results of group learning activities, not the results of the presentation from the teacher. The teacher's role is only as a guide . This learning model is recommended to MTsN teachers as an alternative to improve students' abilities in the process of shepherding West Irian. So, it can be concluded that from the implementation of the activities in cycle 1 and cycle 2, there was an increase in the grades of class IX.1 MTsN Bo 4 Pasaman on the subject of Returning West Irian

Abstract

In the era of globalization, it has had quite a broad impact on various aspects of life, including demands on the implementation of education. So that education has a very important role in producing human resources who have complete competencies, known as 21st century competencies. The progress of science and technology is recognized as an implication of the results of educational development as well, has become a challenge in the implementation of education itself which produces competent human resources. Various efforts have been made in the field of education in transforming education that is capable of giving birth to human resources with character in the 21st century. Improving the quality and quality of guidance and counseling services in the 21st century is very important to be broken in order to produce quality counseling teacher professionalism as a service provider. So that it can realize good quality guidance and counseling services in the process of transforming education in the 21st century.
