Abstract

Technology development effect included in education field especially physics. In learning process, technology presented as teaching materials based on computer assisted instruction. This learning materials included many media as picture, graphic, animation, text, video, and physics theory especially simple harmonic motion in one product. This article was the result of development research of physics teaching materials based on computer assisted instruction on topic simple harmonic motion. Computer assisted instruction based teaching materials in this research used tutorial type. The purpose of this research were to describe validity of CAI based teaching materials, student’s response, and student’s learning result. The techniques of data collection were test, observation, interviews and documentation. The Result of this research were CAI based teaching materials on topic simple harmonic motion was valid with point 4.23, this learning materials had positive response in learning process for topic simple harmonic motion with percentage of agreement 79% and students’learning result is high with score 77. Abstract

This study focus examined the implementation model discovery learning with worksheets student to physic instruction at SMA. The purposes of this research was to examine the effect model discovery learning process science skills, learning motivation, and learning achievement to physics at SMA. The population in this study was X class and the sample are X MIA-5 and X MIA-6 were of SMAN 1 Kencong. This research was a experimental with post-test only control group design. The data are collected by test, observation, interview, question form and documentation. Data analysis techniques T-test using SPSS 22. The results of study: (1) the average value of science process skills 66.8 (2) the average value of motivation 77.4 (3) the average value of learning achievement 62.6. This research can be concluded: (1) there is the effect significant of the use a model discovery learning accompanied by Worksheets Students towards science process skills students, (2) there is the effect significant of the use a model discovery learning accompanied by Worksheets Students towards the learning motivation students, (3) there is the effect significant of the use a model discovery learning accompanied by Worksheets Students toward student learning outcomes. Abstract

This research purpose was to create a new product in the form of multi-representation based module that can be used in learning activities. Multi-representation based module was an interesting module that made students understand the material easily. The purpose of this research was to produce a valid multi-representation based modules, to describe the students’ multi-representation ability and to know the students' response to the use of multi-representation based modules. The research design used the 4-D model that was reduced to be 3-D. The results of the research showed that the multi-representation based module was categorized quite valid with the value of expert validation was 3.89. Multi-representation capability on high criteria with N-gain value is 0.75. Meanwhile, the student's response was in the positive response category with the value of 79.4%. Multi-representation based module contained verbal representation, mathematical, pictures and graphs that were useful to help students to understand the material. Based on the results of this research, it could be concluded that the multi-representation based module was suitable to use as an interesting learning module. Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study the effect of the GI-GI (Group Investigation-Guided Inquiry) model to students' knowledge competence of momentum and impulse and to describe the students learning activities. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Jember Academic Year 2016 - 2017. The type of this research was experimental by Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population of the research were students of XI MIA in MAN 2 Jember. The sample was XI MIA 4 as an experimental class and XI MIA 2 as the control class. The researchs’ data which was collected by using documentation, observation, interview, and test. The techniques of data analysis used independent samples t-test and percentage (quantitative description). The results of this analysis were obtained significant value of 0.005 and the average activity of students was 71.39%. It can be concluded that GI-GI model had a significantly effect on students' knowledge competence of momentum and impulse and learning activities of students were in active category. Abstract

This study focused on influence of Problem Based Instruction Model in science learning at SMP. The purposes of this research were: (1) to describe student’s science process skills in physics during learning process, (2) there was a significant difference on the learning outcomes of students who were given a Problem Based Instruction Model and were not given the Problem Based Instruction Model. This research was experimental study with posttest only control group design. The population in this study was VIII class and the sample were 8.1 and 8.2 class of SMP 1 Probolinggo. The data were collected by interview, observation, documentation, portfolio, and test. Data analysis techniques were descriptive, percentage, and T-Test using SPSS 22. The results of this research were the average of student’s science process skills was 3,44 (good criteria) and the significant difference on the learning outcomes of student was 0,000 using T-Test SPSS 22. This research can be concluded: first, the average of student’s science process skills is in good criteria. Secondly, there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students who use Problem Based Instruction Model and who do not use Problem Based Instruction Model.
