Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand equity, price, and distribution on purchasing trends, especially e-cigarettes among students, which was then reviewed from the perspective of Islamic economics. This research uses quantitative research. The population is students who use e-cigarettes with a sample of 233 respondents. The analysis technique used is normality test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test, product moment test, determinant coefficient (r2), simultaneous significant test (F test), partial significant test (T test). The analysis of this study uses the SPSS 16.0 application and also uses a contextual approach to Islamic economics and phenomenology. The results of this study indicate that what is obtained from the F test has a significant effect, which is 107.056. Partial t-test results on purchasing decisions have a significant effect, namely brand equity of 7,971, price of 5,304, distribution of 2,302. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, the brand equity variable has a more dominant influence on purchasing decisions because the regression equation is 0.402. Islamic economics views the trend of purchasing decisions among students as there needs to be awareness of consumption that is oriented towards maslahah. The content of mashlahah consists of 2 things, namely the benefits and blessings that should exist in brand equity, price, and distribution.

Abstract

Escalation of commitment is the tendency of the decision maker to maintain his commitment to decisions they made in the past. Decision makers become irrational by maintaining their commitment to continue using their resources on a failed action. In financing an investment project, the escalation of commitments can harm the company and eliminate opportunities for the company to grow in the future. This study examines the effect of gender and risks on the escalation of commitment behavior. The research subjects used were 98 students of the Department of Management. This study used a 2x2 factorial experimental design between subjects. The results showed that based on gender, women tend to escalate commitments compared to men. The results of this study also concluded that individuals with risk seekers tend to increase their commitment to an incorrect decision.

Abstract

In a research work has a purpose, where this study aims to determine. To determine the effect of compensation and leadership style on the performance of the employees of the Department of Trade and Industry in Jombang, this research was carried out at the Department of Trade and Industry of Jombang Regency, with a population and sample of 65 employees of the Department of Trade and Industry. industry in Jombang Regency, the research instrument is a questionnaire/questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The requirements test is carried out by testing the validity and reliability tests as well as the classical assumption test. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis technique at a significance level of = 0.05. In partial hypothesis testing, it has been proven that there is an influence between leadership style on employee performance with a significant value level of 0.025 <0.05, thus Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted, then in partial hypothesis testing has proven that there is an influence between compensation on employee performance with a significant value level. of 0.001 < 0.05, thus Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted, then the F test proves that the two independent variables have a simultaneous effect on the dependent variable with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 which is declared to have a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

The research was conducted at the Department of Trade and Industry of Jombang Regency from May to August. The purpose of this final project is to determine the effect of discipline and work motivation on employee performance. The sample used in this study is as many as 65 respondents who have been determined using the saturated sampling technique. Measurement of employee performance using a questionnaire containing indicators of discipline and work motivation. Methods of extracting data by interview and observation, the data were analyzed descriptively to determine employee performance based on the variables of discipline and work motivation. Meanwhile, to find out the effect of the discipline variable and work motivation on employee performance using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the performance of employees is included in the category of strongly agree. The results of multiple linear regression analysis can be seen that discipline and work motivation simultaneously (together), have a significant effect (Sig≤0.05) on employee performance. Partially, work discipline has a significant effect (Sig≤0.05) on employee performance, while work motivation has no significant effect (Sig>0.05) on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the influence of household consumption, government spending and per capita income on economic growth in Jambi province, after doing research using the multiple linear regression formula, the answer was found that partially only household consumption expenditure variables have a significant effect on increasing economic growth of Jambi Province. While the rest have no significant effect. However, together the variables of household consumption expenditure, government expenditure and per capita income have a significant effect on the economic growth of Jambi Province with an R-square value of 99.50 percent during the 2010-2020 period.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test and determine the effect of total cash flow and sales growth on stock prices. The object of this research is the food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. This type of research is quantitative, namely research that emphasizes theory testing through measuring research variables with numbers and analyzing data using statistical procedures. In this study, sampling using purposive sampling based on predetermined characteristics of 13 companies. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the financial statements of each company with a total of 65 data observations. Data analysis using SPSS version 25 program. The results based on the results of hypothesis testing indicate that the total cash flow variable partially has a significant effect on stock prices which has a t value of 2.862 and a significant value of 0.006 < 0.05. Sales growth partially has no significant effect. to the stock price which has a t value of 0.328 and a significant value of 0.744> 0.05. For simultaneous testing, the result is that total cash flow and sales growth have a significant effect on stock prices which have a significant value of 0.020 <0.05. From the discussion, it can be concluded that as the amount of cash flow increases, the price also causes an increase. This proves that the explanation of cash flow information can actually generate added value for users of financial statement information.

Abstract

This study aims to examine working capital turnover, cash turnover, inventory turnover on the profitability of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2020 period. The type of research used in this research is associative and descriptive research. The method used is purposive sampling with a sample of 9 companies during an observation period of 6 years so as to produce a total of 54 samples. The data collection technique used in this study is documentation. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 16 software. Judging from the results of the profitability T test, the value was 0.260> 0.05. This shows the results of the study that working capital turnover, cash turnover, inventory turnover have a simultaneous effect on profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the importance of communication knowledge in its application in accounting science. The data of this study were obtained from interviews with 3 respondents who have worked in the accounting-related divisions. Samples were obtained using simple random sampling. The results of this study indicate that accounting and communication science are closely related. Because in order to obtain reliable financial statements and communicate the state of the financial position, matters relating to its preparation are expected to be communicated properly. Therefore, accounting science and communication science have a great relationship, both verbally and non-verbally.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Implementation of the LAN Regulation Policy Number 1 year 2021 regarding the Basic Training of Civil Servants by the PPSDM Kemendagri Regional Bukittinggi and provide recommendations for the best method of implementing the Basic Training of Civil Servants by the PPSDM Kemendagri Regional Bukittinggi. The research was conducted by direct observation in the field, in-depth interviews with respondents selected by purposive sampling technique as many as 8 (eight) people. The analysis technique used is the Componential Analysis Technique with the theory used is the theory of implementation of the Gogin model and the theory of implementation of George C. Edwards III. The results of the study indicate that organizational resources and capabilities have a significant influence on institutions in determining the method of implementing basic training for Civil Servant Candidates that are suitable for implementation by the institution. So far, the method used by the institution is Full Distance Learning and Blended Learning, there is no full classical application yet. Abstract

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic that emerged in Indonesia caused various changes in the order of social life. This phenomenon has a very bad impact on the economic sector, especially MSMEs. As a result of the quite severe impact felt by MSMEs is the difficulty in making payments or through credit/credit. This study discusses how to implement a relaxation policy for MSME customer financing at the UPTD of Financing Facilities during the covid-19 pandemic. The approach applied in this research is a qualitative approach using George III Edward's policy theory. Data was collected by means of interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and document studies. The results of the study: The implementation of the MSME financing relaxation policy in UPTD-FP which has not run as expected. Although the implementation is in accordance with the existing policies, in its implementation there are unsatisfactory achievements. Although internal communication between policy makers and policy implementers is good enough, communication to customers is considered not optimal. The socialization program to customers is uneven, resulting in not all customers getting information about the relaxation program. results, not many customers benefit from the program.
