Abstract

The rise of cyber gambling in Indonesia has posed a serious threat to various aspects of people's lives, especially affecting the country's sustainable development goals or commonly referred to as SDG's. The proliferation of online gambling platforms has led to a significant increase in financial transactions, with a sharp increase in the total value of online gambling transactions. The negative impacts of cyber gambling not only cause financial losses, but also affect productivity, social costs, health problems, and even the risk of money laundering. In addition, the prevalence of gambling among adolescents and vulnerable populations highlights the urgent need for comprehensive solutions to combat this growing threat. Digital citizenship plays a vital role in preventing cyber gambling by encouraging ethical behavior and responsible use of technology. Increasing digital literacy through formal education and public awareness campaigns is essential in raising awareness of the risks associated with online gambling. By integrating digital citizenship principles into curriculum development and media regulation, individuals can better protect themselves from exposure to online gambling activities. Leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence can help early detection and blocking of gambling-related content, while coordination with government agencies and international cooperation can strengthen law enforcement efforts against online gambling syndicates. By taking a proactive stance towards digital citizenship and implementing comprehensive policy measures, Indonesia can effectively address the challenges posed by cyber gambling and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.

This study aims to review empirical research on the implementation of ecological citizenship. Citizen engagement as ecological citizenship is indispensable in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is especially important to prepare the younger generation to face the challenges of global climate change. Ecological citizenship is an awareness of caring for nature and the environment based on the rights and obligations of a good citizen. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review using the Prisma protocol. Data were sourced from articles published in the last 10 years and then categorized based on the year of research, type of research, and research instruments used. Data analysis was conducted by extracting meaningful information from the selected literature, identifying findings, and presenting them. The findings of this research show that there are several examples of ecological citizenship implementation strategies implemented in several countries. This study is expected to provide important information to the government and non-government in the implementation strategy of ecological citizenship. Abstract

This article discusses the role of pesantren in realizing the values of multicultural citizenship that live and develop within Indonesian society through multicultural education. Pesantren, as one of the educational institutions and centers of Islamic religious teaching, has a very urgent role in maintaining and creating the unity and integrity of the nation. Religious, ethnic, linguistic, and cultural diversity is an undeniable reality in Indonesian society. Multicultural-oriented religious education brings a dialogical approach as a means of instilling awareness of living together in diversity and difference. Multiculturalism is not merely the recognition of diversity, but rather an idea or political policy to address and manage cultural diversity and moral, legal, and political claims made in the name of loyalty to ethnicity, religion, language, or nationality. Using a qualitative approach, the author attempts to reveal the role of pesantren in realizing multicultural citizenship within Indonesian society.

Abstract

Globalization and the advancement of information technology have significantly transformed the lives of Indonesian people. This transformation not only broadens access to the outside world but also changes social values and identities, potentially weakening the sense of nationalism. The younger generation is now largely exposed to global cultures that tend to shift national and local values. This study aims to analyze the role of nonformal education in strengthening nationalism amid identity fragmentation caused by globalization. The research method employs a literature study approach involving scientific articles, government policies, and recent studies since 2020. The results show that nonformal education has great potential to rebuild the spirit of nationalism through community-based, culturally rooted, and socially participatory activities. Institutions such as Community Learning Centers, art studios, and youth organizations have proven to be spaces for strengthening national identity through contextual and reflective learning. Nonformal education also serves as a vehicle for character formation that aligns with contemporary dynamics. This study recommends that the government reinforce policies that integrate national values into every nonformal education program in Indonesia.

Abstract

Truancy, or truancy, is a serious problem in education because it significantly impacts students' academic achievement and character development. This study aims to analyze the extent to which learning motivation and school stress contribute to the emergence of truancy in vocational high school students. This study used a quantitative correlational method involving 60 students of SMKN 1 GERIH, selected through accidental sampling with a 10% margin of error. The data collection instrument was a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale that had previously undergone validity and reliability testing. Data analysis used multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25. The results showed that learning motivation had a significant negative effect on truancy, while school stress had a significant positive effect. Simultaneous testing proved that both predictors contributed 61.5% to the variance in truancy. The implications of this study emphasize the urgency of developing counseling-based intervention programs to optimize academic motivation and stress management in vocational schools.
