Abstract

A mobile robot is a type of robot that uses a wheel or leg-based propulsion system to move efficiently. This robot is highly beneficial in various industries, particularly in improving operational efficiency through autonomous movement. This research aims to examine the performance of the PID control on an encoder-based robot and evaluate its effectiveness compared to a system without PID. The research method includes designing a robot powered by a 18650 battery as the main power source, with an L298N motor driver and a DC N20 motor with an encoder connected to an Arduino microcontroller as the primary controller. An SD card module and a buck converter are also used to store operational data and regulate voltage to ensure stability. In this study, the robot's performance is tested at various distances, both with and without PID control. The test results show that without PID, the robot deviates more from the target, especially at longer distances, such as 220 cm. In contrast, with PID control, the robot is able to reach the target with higher accuracy and more controlled deviation. The use of PID also reduces variation in time and distance traveled, as well as enhances system stability.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages teachers and educational practitioners to make adjustments to the ways and methods of student learning. Students who are social creatures, of course, also feel the impact of these technological developments. One of them is gadget. It is not uncommon for students to neglect their duties as a student due to the preoccupation with playing gadgets. Therefore, it is necessary if students are facilitated so that they can learn in a fun way as if they are playing gadgets. This android-based contextual math learning application is designed using the waterfall method, which consists of several math materials including: multiplication, division, fractions, square, rectangle and comparison. The activities in the application are designed to guide students to discover (guided discovery) math concepts. The goal is to provide meaningful learning experiences and experience in solving non-routine (contextual) problems. This application has been tested on 43 users including students and teachers. From the interview results, it is known that the application can be an alternative that can be used by students to learn math concepts. An attractive and contextual display provides a positive response by users regarding the application that has been developed.

Abstract

The Digital Population Identity Application (IKD) is a government digital solution designed to facilitate public access to population data via mobile devices. This study aims to analyze the sentiment of user reviews for the Digital Population Identity (IKD) application available on the Google Play Store, employing the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm. The methodology encompasses data collection, preprocessing, division of data into training and testing sets, and the application of KNN with varying values of k. The findings reveal that the model utilizing k=17 with a 70:30 ratio attained an accuracy of 82%, alongside precision of 79%, recall of 82%, F1 Score of 79%, and a micro AUC value of 0.91. This model demonstrates effective identification of positive and negative sentiments; however, it encounters challenges in classifying neutral reviews. The study concludes that the Digital Population Identity (IKD) application is still regarded as relatively ineffective, given the significant percentage of negative sentiment, which accounts for 71.86% of the reviews. While the KNN algorithm proves effective for classification, enhancements in performance concerning the neutral class remain essential. Furthermore, variations in the value of k impact classification accuracy, and adjustments to the k parameter can enhance the model's overall performance.

Abstract

The broiler farming business in Indonesia continues to grow in order to meet animal protein needs and increase farmers' income. One of the challenges in this negative is determining efficient distribution routes to optimize travel distance and operational costs. Ayam Berkah Sejahtera, a broiler chicken distribution business in North Sumatra, does not yet have optimal routes, so the distribution process is often hampered by travel time and high costs. This research aims to determine the distribution route for broiler chickens using the Fuzzy TOPSIS method. Fuzzy TOPSIS is a multi-criteria decision making method that helps identify the best solution based on the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and the longest distance from the negative ideal solution. The implementation of this method considers distance, delivery time, vehicle capacity and distribution costs to reach an optimal solution. The analysis results show that Fuzzy TOPSIS has succeeded in increasing the distribution efficiency of Ayam Berkah Sejahtera, speeding up delivery times, and reducing operational costs. This method also provides adjustments in dynamic distribution adjustments, making it suitable for application in multi-criteria distributions. With more optimized distribution routes, companies can achieve better performance and increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has very diverse orchid genetic resources. Orchid species are found in several islands in Indonesia such as Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Nusa Tenggara, Bali, Maluku and Papua and have types of orchids with varying flower characters. Orchids are one of the most popular ornamental plants and have a beautiful charm. The beauty and value of orchids are in their flowers. However, some orchids have the same color and appearance even though they belong to different species. In fact, many people think that one orchid species with other species that have similar shapes are the same species. Therefore, a system is needed that can make it easier to recognize orchid species. The method used is the Convolutional Neural Network with VGG 16 Architecture to classify orchid flower types, where the dataset used is divided into 3 scenarios, namely scenario 1 using orchid petal images, scenario 2 using orchid leaf tree images, and scenario 3 using combined images of orchid flower petals and leaves. From the three scenarios, the results of the model with high accuracy in scenario 3 were 99.47%. This shows that the model built is able to predict well.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology impacts various fields, including healthcare services. The Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI), as a professional organization for midwives in Indonesia, plays a role in enhancing the professionalism of its members to ensure quality healthcare services. This study aims to develop an Android-based application to disseminate information about IBI activities in the Sumbawa region, facilitating public access to midwifery services. The application development process includes system analysis, design, implementation, and testing using the blackbox testing method. The application features five main functions: activity news, event agendas, information about midwives, organizational profiles, and links to IBI-related websites. Test results indicate that each feature operates as intended. This application is expected to serve as an effective information medium, improving public access to healthcare services, particularly in the midwifery field, and supporting IBI activities in providing more transparent and integrated services.

Abstract

The development of technology has advanced various aspects of life, including the culinary business. Food buying and selling applications are trending, offering convenience and efficiency in getting the desired food. This application comprises four main components, buyers, sellers, couriers, and admins. The main features include online registration, sellers uploading menus, and buyers ordering food. The culinary business continues to grow, especially fast food restaurants in urban areas, which meet the needs of a modern lifestyle. Catering is a solution for various events, offering a variety of menu choices according to client desires. The use of technology, especially Android-based applications, makes it easier to manage a culinary business, from order management to delivery coordination. The catering industry faces challenges in order management, scheduling, and inventory. However, with this application, the process becomes more efficient and effective. The food business is in great demand because of its basic human needs and high- profit potential. Catering provides food and beverage services for various purposes, meeting customer demand with menu flexibility.

Abstract

Choosing a residential property is a complex decision involving multiple criteria such as price, location, facilities, and risks. To assist potential buyers in making more objective decisions, this research developed a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. TOPSIS is employed to process various criteria and rank housing alternatives based on their proximity to the ideal solution. The results demonstrate that this system effectively provides recommendations that align with user preferences, with location and price being the dominant factors. The implementation of TOPSIS is expected to improve user satisfaction and reduce dissatisfaction risks in residential property selection.

Abstract

Javarco Tanjung Badas Sumbawa merupakan perusahaan di bidang transportasi migas, memiliki dua anak perusahaan yaitu PT. Mita Biru Madyan (MBM) dan PT. Surya Mita Indah(SMI). PT. Mita Biru Madyan (MBM) memiliki 137 agen sedangkan PT. Surya Mita Indah (SMI) 114 agen, melayani pengiriman dan distribusi tabung gas elpiji 3 kg, di wilayah Kabupaten Sumbawa dan Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat kepada para agen di kecamatan. Pencatatan data pemesanan tabung elpiji langsung oleh agen yang di tulis di buku admin, selanjutnya disampaikan ke bagian pemasaran dan bagian gudang. Data akhir pemesanan yang diterima oleh bagian gudang selanjutnya sebagai informasi pengantaran oleh driver sering tidak dilakukan update secara berkala. Penelitian ini membuat dan merancang strategi distribusi agen gas elpiji dengan penerapan sistem informasi electronic customer relationship management (E-CRM) berbasis web pada PT. Javarco Sumbawa. Untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada agen, memudahkan transaksi melalui web tanpa harus datang secara langsung ke PT. Javarco. Hasil identifikasi pengguna terdiri dari user Admin dengan hak akses sebanyak 12, serta user Agen dengan hak akses 5. Menggunakan metode pengembangan Prototype dan pemodelan unified modelling language (UML) dengan use case, activity diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram. Menggunakan bahasa pemprograman PHP dengan framework bootstrap dan basis data MariaDB.

Abstract

Desa Sukadamai terletak di Kecamatan Manggelewa, Kabupaten Dompu, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Desa Sukadamai merupakan daerah terpencil yang jauh dari pusat kota, sehingga layanan administratif menjadi aspek yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat. Namun, terdapat beberapa masalah yang terkait dengan pengelolaan data kependudukan, khususnya dalam proses administratif. Pengelolaan data dilakukan sepenuhnya secara manual, menggunakan buku catatan fisik dan media cetak kantor. Selain itu, warga desa harus mengunjungi kantor desa secara langsung untuk meminta informasi dan menyelesaikan tugas administratif. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, penulis mengembangkan sistem informasi desa berbasis web yang mendukung konsep desa pintar. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk membantu pemerintah setempat dan masyarakat sekitar dalam memperlancar tugas administratif dan memastikan penyebaran informasi yang konsisten. Berdasarkan uji coba, sistem ini memperoleh indeks persetujuan sebesar 89%, dengan 30 responden menyatakan "SANGAT SETUJU" terhadap implementasi sistem informasi desa berbasis Android. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi guna meningkatkan efisiensi administratif. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini efektif dan dapat diterapkan dalam skenario dunia nyata.
