Abstract

women to reduce maternal and infant mortality. The high rate of maternal and infant mortality is partly due to the low level of maternal knowledge and the irregular frequency of ANC examinations. The regularity of ANC can be shown through the frequency of visits, this turns out to be a problem because not all pregnant women check their pregnancy regularly so that abnormalities that arise in pregnancy cannot be detected as early as possible (Sarwono, 2015). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal age and parity on the regularity of antenatal examinations. This study uses an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were 315 pregnant women. The number of samples in this study were 176 respondents. In the univariate analysis, it was found that from 176 respondents, there were 114 respondents (64.8%) of mothers with high risk age and 62 respondents (35.2%) of mothers with high risk parity. respondents (63.1%) and maternal parity with low risk as many as 65 respondents (36.9%). Bivariate analysis showed that age had a significant relationship with the regularity of the ANC examination (p value 0.002) and parity had a significant relationship with the regularity of the ANC examination (p value 0.001). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between maternal age and parity on the regularity of antenatal care examinations. Keywords : age, parity, antenatal care

Abstract

Cancer is a disease of cell growth, resulting from damage to genes that regulate cell growth and differentiation. One of the causes of such damage is gene mutation. Sometimes it grows uncontrollably and forms a lump, when the abnormal lump continues to grow and become malignant. One of the most common cancers affecting women is breast cancer. Breast cancer can actually attack men, but this is rare. Women are a hundred times more likely to get breast cancer than men. This research is a quantitative research with an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers with cancer, totaling 273 people. The sample of this research used systematic random sampling method. The sample of this study amounted to 73 respondents. Data analysis was carried out in two stages, namely univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with Chi-square statistical test. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between early menarche (p value = 0.03) and there was a relationship between early breast cancer (p value = 0.03) and early menopause. The advice given is input to further improve facilities, especially the midwifery department in providing standardized care for mothers with breast cancer and health monitoring, especially for mothers who have risk factors. Abstract

Tetanus Toxoid (TT) immunization is a process to build immunity as an effort to prevent tetanus infection (Indanati, 2015). The tetanus vaccine is a toxin from the tetanus germ that has been weakened and then purified. The immunity that is transmitted from mother to baby can be a protection for babies against stressors (unsterile delivery and unclean umbilical cord care) that can cause TN. This research is a quantitative research with an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women who visited totaling 36 pregnant women. The sample of this research used systematic random sampling method. The sample of this study amounted to 36 respondents. Data analysis was carried out in two stages, namely univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with Chi-square statistical test. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between the role of health workers (p value = 0.022) and there was a relationship between motivation (p value = 0.040) and the completeness of tetanus toxoid (TT) immunization for pregnant women. The advice given is expected to be a source of information, input and improve the quality of services, especially regarding TT immunization for pregnant women. Abstract

Breast milk is the best nutrition for babies because the composition of nutrients in it is optimally able to ensure the growth of the baby's body, the quality of the nutrients is also the best because it is easily absorbed and digested by the baby's intestines, so the use of breast milk in Indonesia needs to be increased. Basically there are various kinds of breast milk, one of which is colostrum. This research is a quantitative research with an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies, totaling 40 pregnant women. The sample of this research used systematic random sampling method. The sample of this study amounted to 40 respondents. Data analysis was carried out in two stages, namely univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with Chi-square statistical test. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship of knowledge (p value = 0.002) and there was a relationship of information (p value = 0.001) with giving colostrum to newborns. Suggestions are expected for health workers to provide complete communication, information and education to the community in the work area about giving colostrum to newborns.
