Abstract

The development of communication technology has resulted in a new style of communication. Communication between educators and students is no longer done face-to-face in schools. The role of interpersonal communication between educators and students shifts to Smartphones. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by analyzing the data in the form of a brief description and using a triangulation technique to check the validity of the data. In this study, the ethics possessed by students are influenced by their surroundings and themselves. Using social media and communication patterns, students can acquire new language styles. But few students also pay less attention to ethics when talking to teachers. Face-to-face learning is considered very effective compared to online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of habit on the learning value of ManageBac usage in a Singapore School Kelapa Gading located in North Jakarta, Indonesia. ManageBac is one of the Learning Management System used by international schools using IB curriculum. The study will apply the UTAUT2 model, which is a theoretical framework used to understand the factors that influence the adoption and use of technology in various contexts. The study will extend the UTAUT2 framework by integrating the habit construct and provide fresh insight into predictors of students' intentions toward ManageBac usage. The study will collect data through a survey questionnaire consisting of 11 questions using Likert scale. The data will be analyzed using Variance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (VB-SEM) using GSCA Pro application. The population of the study will be a total of 112 high school students at Singapore School Kelapa Gading using the saturation sampling technique which includes the population as the sample. The result shows that HT has a significant influence on LV, and the more habitual a user is in using ManageBac, the higher their perceived value of the system. This research will provide insights to teachers that it is important to form a habit for students to use ManageBac and recommendations for future research to use LV instead of PV variable to better understand the context of m-learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the application of the Siskeudes application in Bungah Village. The descriptive case study methodology is used in qualitative investigations. Data was collected through private practice, record keeping, and written interviews. Both primary and secondary data were collected. Including written interviews with selected informants and primary research data collected using the SISKEUDES application. Regarding secondary data, researchers found documents in Bungah Village containing information about the population, leadership structure, and past financial reports. Village financial management must be genuine, orderly, effective, and efficient before cash can be allocated. The Village Financial System application helps the community in its obligation to prepare financial reports (Siskeudes). Village officials had difficulty using the siskeudes application when it was implemented in Bungah Village. This study tries to identify the application of the SISKEUDES application in financial management considering the real limitations that occur in the field. Assistance and observation are used to carry out the implementation method which is then described qualitatively. As a result, the Siskeudes program facilitates villages for processing system-based financial reports, but their dissemination is limited by the competence of human resources and substandard village infrastructure. With proper use, this application can be an effective tool in supporting efforts to achieve sustainable development goals at the village level.
