Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the change in mangrove use to aquaculture. The research was conducted in the village of Sebamban Baru, Sungai Loban District, Tanah Bumbu Regency of South Kalimantan Province. processing of Landsat ETM imagery for mapping mangrove and ponds land use change from 2001and 2010 using ER Mapper software version 7.0.The results showed that the change of mangrove land in the village of Sebamban Baru from 2001 to 2010. 2001 based on the interpretation of the image of vast mangrove 482,321 ha and 254,731 ha of ponds wide, whereas in 2010 there isa change widespread utilization of mangroves into fishponds 346,814 ha and368,542 ha. cause land area of 135 507 ha of mangrove decline and an increase inponds 135,507 hectares wide. From the ecological aspect is emphasized that the formation of spatial coastal areas in Tanah Bumbu district must consider the mangrove forests, and keep doing aquaculture activities and still maintain mangrove conservation by setting the ratio of mangrove land available if the location was built fishpond.

Abstract

Have happened damage of environmental habitat of mangrove and abrasi of akresi causing its excelsior of face irrigate alongside DAS River of Barito (DAS Martapura, DAS Alalak and of DAS Kuin), because the happening of process of abrasi and of akresi that happened alongside coastline, especially DAS Martapura, DAS Alalak and DAS Kuin. Classification exploiting of farm and its conversion and also change of coastal area in the form of and akresi of abrasi alongside research area coast in analysis by exploiting information of satellite image data of Landsat temporal multi which in obtaining on 29 June year 1985, and 03 September 2006. Domination exploiting of farm in the form of HPH, settlement and mining with farm conversion at forest for other exploiting give big enough erosion impact with regional and natural coastal area that make-up of akresi especially part of river estuary (delta). Seen Change Trend at coastal area in research area during 21 year was abrasi equal to 294,55 m2 in Estuary area S. Martapura, 75,53 m2 around estuary S. Alalak. And change of Abrasi equal to 177,42 m2 , and akresi equal to 610,86 m2 around Estuary S. Barito / kuin).

Abstract

Fish skin was a raw material for gelatin extracted. Fish skin drying was effectto physico-chemical of gelatin. Fresh fish skin and dry fish skin was compare tostudied gelatin extracted. Swamp ell skin and catfish skin was compare too. Swampell skin doesn’t have scales, with much mucus and a few fat for catfish, it’s different from another fish skin that gelatin extracted usually The first stage of the research was raw material preparation (fresh and dryfish skin) soaked in aquadest for 4 hours. Fish skin extracted using 0,05 M aceticacid for 10 hours, washed in water and then extracted using aquadest at 80oC for 2 hours to get gelatin liquid, the liquid was filtrated. Filtrat was dried in cabinet dryer at 55oC for 48 hours to get gelatin layers, and then blended to get gelatin granule. The results were showing viscosity of gelatin from dry fish skin as same asfrom fresh fish skin, gel strength and melting point of gelatin from dry fish skin washigher than from fresh fish skin. Influence of fish skin drying was increase turbidity and color of gelatin. The best gelatin was ekstracted from dry skin swamp ell withviscosity 6,65 cps, gel strength 206,30 Bloom, melting point 22,33oC. Gelatin fromfresh skin swamp ell was the best turbidity 1,65 ntu and color (L = 41,87, a = 8,90, b= 27,27).

Treatment B (ayunan modifications bamboo flooring), gained as much as 29 prawns, with a total weight of 180 grams. Total catch of prawns using swing modifications and add bamboo flooring for 16 days of observation was 81prawns with a total weight of 2,390 grams. Main types of catches fresh water prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii de Man) with a side of the catch is Lundu (Mystus Gulio) and Sapu-sapu (Hypostomusplecostomus).

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effectiveness of injection of sGnRH-a + ad andheight of water on fish spawning snakehead, Channa striata in the concreat tank. The research was conducted at the Wet Laboratory Aguaculture Departement Faculty of Fisheries University of Lambung Mangkurat. There are two main factors as treatment namely: Factor A = dose of sGnRH-a + ad with three levels (A1 = 0.2 ml /kg; A2 = 0.4 ml / kg; A3 = 0.6 ml / kg) and factor B = height of water with three levels(B1 = 15 cm; B2 = 20 cm; B3 = 25 cm) made repeated 4 times to obtain 36 units of the experiment. Observations made on the parameters: body weight, gonad weight, liver weight, estradiol-17β, egg diameter, IGS, IHS, fecundity, fertilization andhatching degrees. The strongest relationship obtained from the treatment of observational parameter is IGS and IHS. Of treatment given the latent time of theobtained range between 12 hours to 25 hours, fecundity between 5047 to 5072grains, the degree of fertilization between 60 to 60.3 percent and 76.6 degrees fertilization between 83.9 per cent up. Developments after hatching body length of3.5 mm and 45.5 mm on day 20.
