Abstract

This study aims to find the optimal concentration of egg whites to increase efflorescence swamp eel crackers with treatment A without giving egg white, egg white treatment B adding 25 ml, treatment C the addition of 50 ml of egg white and egg white treatment D adding 75 ml. All treatments are performed replications with three replications completely randomized design. Parameters measured were protein content, moisture content, carbohydrate content, crispness test, efflorescence and sensory test. Based on the results of this study concluded giving egg whites to increase the protein content and efflorescence and crispy swamp eel crackers and meet industry standards of Indonesia.

Abstract

Skin of swam ell and catfish were potential to gelatin extracted. Swamp ell skin doesn’t have scales, with much mucus and a few fat for catfish, it’s different from another fish skin that gelatin extracted usually. This research was studied yield and proximate gelatin extracted from skin of swam ell and catfish. Influence of drying was observed too.The first stage of the research was raw material preparation (fresh and dryfish skin) soaked in aquadest for 4 hours. Fish skin extracted using 0,05 M aceticacid for 10 hours, washed in water and then extracted using aquadest at 80oC for 2 hours to get gelatin liquid, the liquid was filtrated. Filtrat was dried in cabinet dryerat 55oC for 48 hours to get gelatin layers, and then blended to get gelatin granule. The results were gelatin yield from dry fish skin lower than fresh fish skin. Gelatin protein from dry fish skin more higher than fresh skin. Influence of fish skin drying was decrease gelatin ash and fat, but gelatin moisture wasn’t influenced. Gelatin from fresh skin swamp ell was the best gelatin with moisture 9,91%, ash 3,07%,protein 91,61%, lipid 0,82%.

Abstract

The aim of research is to know the efective level of chicken feces dosage for tubificidian culture. The simple random sampling on three levels dosage of chichenfeces (ratio of chicken feces and soil) with three replication each was used in theresearch. The level dosage C (30 g/2500 g) has give the faster growth of tubificidian compared with level dosage A (10 g/2500 g) and level dosage B (20 g/2500 g).

Abstract

Base on qualities category, a fish production from Danau Bangkau swamp waters in some years later was reducing, especially in commercialize fish, and one of causing this problem was a high fishing intensity. The evaluasion of fishing gears impact to fish population have been required to made a concept of sustainable fishing strategy. The measurement of standard length and gonad maturity of fish specimens showed all kind of fishing gears that operated in Danau Bangkau swamp waters included a selectiveness fishing geard category (excepted horizontal gill net) and could be broken to repopulation. A regulation of fishing ground, fishing season and fishing zone have a best solution in order to optimize of fishing activity.

Abstract

Fisheries development programs in an effort to improve the well-being should also reflect an effort to preserve its resources . This study aims to determine the status of fishing gear base on category Responsibility Fisheries. The study was conducted in Tanah Laut district. Research carried out by the method of observation and interview based. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the fishing gears base on responsible category are longline and set gillnet; less responsible category are encircling gillnet, drift gillnet, trammel net, purse seine and beach siene. While the not responsible categories are Skimming net and Mini Trawl. Policy commendations can be done by controlling the amount of fishing gear, fishing area closures and strengthening stakeholder awareness. Thus the management of fishery resources in the context of sustainable development can be implemented.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know (1) the description of the commonly used lalangit, (2) the amount of the catch (catch) are obtained from the difference insome brands of nylon that is used, (3) brands of nylon materials as the best lalangit (horizontal gillnet). The research method used was Random Design Group (RAK) with 6 treatments IE 6 types of different brands of nylon. Of research results obtained the most number of catches a lot on Lalangit using the brand damyl earn 50 catches the tail with a total weight of 1.728 gram, because in terms of construction or its material soft materials that cause the catch is not easy to escape from nets due to elastisitasan and the blue color of nylon can resemble aquatic conditions so that thegullible fish State of the waters and the obtained results the optimal catch.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was obtained method of controlling diseases caused by Aeromonas hydrophila in fish farming is environmentally friendly. In this study the sensitivity of the test A. hydrophila, a minimum test konsentari inhibiting A.hydrophila (MIC test) and toxicity test on tilapia. The design used for toxicity tests iscompletely randomized design with 4 treatments it A = Fish injected with extracts bangkal concentration of 20 %, B = Fish injected with extracts bangkal concentration of 40 %, C = Fish injected with extracts of 80 % concentration bangkal, and D =Control ( fish not injected ), repeated 3 times. This treatment was obtained from theresults of the sensitivity test antibacterial bangkal inhibition and has the power to killmost of the bacteria against A. hydrophila is bangkal leaf extract with distilled watersolvent. MIC testing showed that the extract bangkal - distilled water has a minimum of 20 % inhibition of the bacterial activity A. hydrophila. Results of toxicity tests conducted on tilapia with a concentration of 20 %, 40 % and 80 % mortality of tilapia under 50 %. Haematological observation that eretrosit, leokosit, blood plasm, hematocrit and leokokrit in each treatment is still in the normal range. The water quality parameters, dissolved oxygen, pH, ammonia, CO2 and temperature can still support the normal life of tilapia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of probiotics incommercial feed on feed quality, enhance increase bactery number in gut mucose and digestibility of nile tilapia (Oreocromis niloticus) through the provision of environmental friendly probiotic feed, determine the effective doses of probiotics in feed that can support the growth fish. The research was conducted for 6 (six)months, from September 2012 until February 2013. The design used in this study was completely randomized design with 4 (four) treatments and 3 (three) replicates, were treatment A (control), B (Probiotics 3%), C (Probiotics 5%) and D (Probiotic7%).The results showed that the addition of probiotic containing Lactobacillus sp.feeding with doses of 3%, 5% and 7% were able to improve the nutritional content, protein values between 32,48%-34,19% and lower crude fiber with values between 5,04-5,70% compared with no probiotics. The addition of probiotics in feed with a percentage of 3%, 5%, and 7% can increase digestibility of nile tilapia and effectiveto increase the nile weight and length growth of nile tilapia.

Abstract

The study is intended as an attempt domestication through climbing perch spawning in the container cultivation. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Wetlands Program University Faculty of Fisheries Aquaculture Lambung Mangkurat.Three main points in support of the spawning success of fish, namely: gonadaldevelopment, ovulation and spawning. Naturally development climbing perch fishgonads occurred in the early dry season to peak season and at the beginning of the rainy season or during the rainy season, spawning occurred. This natural state is trying to be adopted in the cultivation of container, with fashting for 1, 2 and 3 days with water levels, 10, 15 and 20 cm. The result is a latent time of 11.7 hours to 39 hours, fecundity between 5310 to 7376 grains, egg diameter 0.5 to 0.8 mm, the degree of fertilization between 88.2 to 93.2 percent and the degree of hatching between 87, 0 to 91.6 percent.
