Abstract

Increasing the productivity of rice through the approach of Sekolah Lapang Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (SL-PTT) is one of the strategies that is expected to provide a greater contribution to the national rice production. Based on the results of research, the public response to the program of SL-PTT Non Hybrid Rice in Hulu Sungai Selatan was in the high category (85.71%). Factors affecting the public response to the program were the information, the field guides, the assistance component whereas those having no effects to the public response were the education, the practice, and the application of PTT. The environmental impact of the program of SLPTT Non Hybrid Rice was positive in the economic aspect, which could create welfare for farmers implementing the program. The Social aspect giving a positve impact was  through the transmission of technology adoption that could be applied to non-rice farmers who lived around the area of SL-PTT. The negative impact was the social jealousy among the people who could all not get involved in the program of SL-PTT Non Hybrid Rice.

Abstract

Mangrove forests have ecological functions as an absorber of carbon dioxide and store carbon through photosynthesis. How much carbon stored in mangrove forest can be estimated by biomass contained as an individual constituent mangrove forest vegetation. This research aims to develop allometric model to estimate content of biomass on Rhizophora apiculata which is one of the compilers specific of the mangrove forest. Research methods through logging (destruction) with a total sample of 35 trees that represents the distribution diameter of 11-78 cm. The results showed content of the biomass species Rhizophora apiculata as much as 77% on the trunk, 14% on the branch, 6% on the twigs and 3% on the leaves. Allometric are obtained to estimate the biomass content on Rhizophora apiculata types are as follows: Y = 0,1488D2,4310; branch section Y = 0.0229D2,4521; twigs part Y = 0.0375D2,0389; leaf   Y = 0.1898D1,2809; total tree Y = 0.2300D2,3766. Through determination test concluded that the allometric chosen is Y = 0.2300D2,3766 with the value of the determinant coefficient of 0.9479

Abstract

Tanah Laut is a regency in South Kalimantan Province which has potential mackerel (Rastrelliger spp) resources. The objectives of the research were toestimate level utilization of in the mackerels at Tanah Laut District. Research activities which had been done included fishing gear analysis, stock analysis. The utilization level of mackerel resources had achieved 77%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know (1) the description of the commonly used lalangit, (2) the amount of the catch (catch) are obtained from the difference insome brands of nylon that is used, (3) brands of nylon materials as the best lalangit (horizontal gillnet). The research method used was Random Design Group (RAK) with 6 treatments IE 6 types of different brands of nylon. Of research results obtained the most number of catches a lot on Lalangit using the brand damyl earn 50 catches the tail with a total weight of 1.728 gram, because in terms of construction or its material soft materials that cause the catch is not easy to escape from nets due to elastisitasan and the blue color of nylon can resemble aquatic conditions so that thegullible fish State of the waters and the obtained results the optimal catch.

Abstract

This research aims (1) to find out the difference of the amount of the catch (catch) obtained from the modification of plastics with bamboo Kabam. 2) to find out the effectiveness of both kabam better for use in catching fish seluang (Rasbora sp.). The methods used are Random Design Group with 2 treatments, namely treatments A: 10 units Kabam plastic and treatment B: 10 units Kabam bamboo. Of research results obtained in (1) the modification of the Kabam (Trap) that can distinguish the amount of the catch (catch) are obtained, (2) capture tool kabam bamboo can generate the average number offish and bigger fish weight compared with capture tool kabam plastic, so that it is more effective for the bamboos kabam catch fish seluang (Rasbora sp).

Abstract

Catching up with capture tool Gillnet Milinium is the most widely used of thebfishermen in the village of Tabanio. The arrest has a great business rivalries, wherebbusiness is not good management can affect the ability of the production units of thesebarrests and the impact on the income of fishermen. Abstract

This study aims to find out the comparison of constant use of lights and flashing lights in fishing activities by means of fishing gear done in Martapura swamp waters, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. From the results obtained in the results obtained that the fish like a constant light more in the likes of fish in comparison to thetype of flashing lights.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi ilmiah terkait penilaian stok (stock assessment) sumberdaya ikan ikan Gabus (Channa Striata, Bloch 1793) Di Kalimantan Selatan dengan Pendekatan Model Holistik (Equilibrium - Non Equilibrium State). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah data sekunder berupa data time series produksi dan upaya penangkapan ikan Channa Striata yang bersumber dari Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Estimasi hasil tangkapan lestari (MSY) ikan Channa striata dilakukan dengan menggunakan model produksi surplus melalui pendekatan equilibrium state model dari Schaefer (1954) dan Fox (1970) dan pendekatan non equilibrium state model dari model walter-hilborn (1976). Hasil penelitian model Schaefer (1954) menunjukkan bahwa status pemanfaatan tahun 2016 tergolong moderate exploited dengan Tingkat Pemanfaatan (TP) sebesar 74%. Status pemanfaatan berdasarkan model Fox (1970) pada tahun 2016 tergolong fully exploited dengan Tingkat Pemanfaatan (TP) sebesar 90%. Sedangkan status pemanfaatan berdasarkan model Walter-Hilborn (1976) pada tahun 2016 tergolong moderate exploited dengan Tingkat Pemanfaatan (TP) sebesar 62%. Potensi stok cadangan lestari sumberdaya ikan Channa Striata saat ini (Standing Stock) ialah 10.838 ton/tahun.

Abstract

Dalam Pengelolaan perikanan tangkap sering dihadapi terancamnya kelestarian sumberdaya ikan akibat kesetidakseimbangan tingkat trofik di ekosistem perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Mengidentifikasi secara teknis alat tangkap gillnet millenium; (2) Mengetahui Jenis ikan hasil tangkapan berdasarkan ukuran panjang ikan dan trofik level; (3) Menentukan status perikanan tangkap dengan menggunakan alat tangkap gillnet millenium. Metode yang digunakan pada saat penelitian adalah metode penelitian survei dan Deskriptif analistik. Bahan dan alat yang akan digunakan pada saat penelitian diantaranya adalah kuesioner, alat tulis, meteran, Software Microsoft Excel, kamera serta peralatan lainnya yang diperlukan. Analisis data diolah berdasarkan Komposisi hasil tangkapan utama dan sampingan, dikelompokkan berdasarkan spesiesnya, kemudian diukur panjang ikan. Komposisi hasil tangkapan dianalisis dengan menggunakan Software Microsoft Excel untuk melihat perbandingan jumlah dan bobot antar spesies. Spesies hasil tangkapan diklasifikasikan nilai trofik level dari Fish Base Online yang menyediakan informasi trofik level dari jenis dan komposisi makanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Gillnet millenium adalah jaring yang berbentuk persegi panjang, terdiri dari tali ris atas, tali pelampung, badan jaring, tali ris bawah, tali salambar, pemberat dan tali pemberat. Mesh size 4 -5 inchi, panjang 30 – 1000 meter, lebar 5 meter. (2) Jenis ikan hasil tangkapan yaitu Ikan Kakap (Lates calcarifer), Ikan Bawal (Pampus argenteus), Ikan Senangin (Eleutheronema tetradactylum), Ikan Tenggiri Papan (Scomberomorus guttatus), Ikan Manyung (Arius thalassinus), Ikan Hiu (Carcharhinus sp), dan Ikan Pari (Dasyatis sp). (3) Trofik level hasil tangkapan yaitu Ikan Bawal, Ikan Pari dan Ikan Manyung (TL3), Ikan Kakap (TL 4), Ikan Senangin, Ikan Hiu dan Ikan Tenggiri papan (TL5).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi Tempirai Kawat (Wire Stage Trap) di Perairan Desa Manarap Kabupaten Banjar yang meliputi keragaan tempirai kawat, komposisi dan proporsi, sebaran ukuran, dan produktivitas tempirai kawat. Metode yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling yaitu turun langsung kelapangan dengan menentukan kriteria-kriteria tertentu yang berkaitan dengan dinamika perikanan tempirai kawat. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Tempirai yang digunakan di perairan Desa Manarap berbahan kawat, memiliki prinsip seperti perangkap (trap) yaitu mempermudah ikan masuk dan mempersulit ikan untuk keluar. Pengoperasian tempirai dilakukan di daerah rawa atau daerah sawah yang digenangi air dan terdapat vegetasi rawa contohnya seperti purun, kayu duri, eceng gondok dan teratai, dengan hasil tangkapan yang didominasi oleh ikan Sepat rawa (Trichopodus trichopterus), Sepat Siam (Trichogaster pectoralis) dan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) This study identified the Wire Stage Trap in the waters of Manarap Village, Banjar Regency, which included the performance of the wire stages, the composition and proportions, size distribution, and the productivity of the wire stages. The method used is Purposive Sampling, which is a direct measurement of the field by determining certain criteria related to the dynamics of the wire tempirai fishery. Data analysis used is descriptive. Tempirai used in the waters of Manarap Village is made of wire, has a principle like a trap, which makes it easier for fish to enter and makes it difficult for fish to get out. Tempirai operations are carried out in swamp areas or paddy fields which are flooded with water and there are swamp vegetation, for example purun, thorn wood, water hyacinth and lotus, with catches dominated by swamp Sepat (Trichopodus trichopterus), Siamese Sepat (Trichogaster pectoralis) and Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)
