Abstract

Efforts to optimize the health status of the elderly in the community through the elderly posyandu program have been designed and applied but still found lack of utilization of these services. This type of research is quantitative and The population is the elderly in Liu Mulang Village, Long Pahangai District, totaling 52 people. The research was conducted at the elderly Posyandu in Liu Mulang Village, Long Pahangai District in March 2023. Characteristics of respondents mostly from respondents aged between 60-65 years (73.1%), male sex (55.8%), high school graduation education (61.5%), and not working/retirement (34, 6%).Family support to visit the elderly posyandu in the elderly lacks (53.8%) and the elderly visit to the elderly posyandu is not routine (55.8%).There is a relationship between family support and elderly visit (p value 0.030). it means there is a relationship between family support and elderly visits to the elderly Posyandu.

Abstract

Length of Stay (LOS) in the emergency room is used to see the level of density and clinical workload of nurses. This type of research is quantitative and the population is patients who receive health services in the Emergency Room of Pratama Nawacita Datah Dave Hospital with an average visit in 1 month is 37 people. The characteristics of the respondents were seen from the age of the majority of respondents> 60 years (51.4%), female sex totaling 19 people (51.4%), the diagnosis of disease most of the respondents with hypertension amounted to 17 people (45.9%). The level of Length of Stay (LOS) is mostly from less respondents (59.5%) and service quality is mostly from less respondents (56.8%) There is a relationship between Length of Stay (LOS) and service quality (p value 0.042 < α : 0.05). That means there is a relationship between Length of Stay (LOS) and service quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of education on the dangers of smoking on knowledge and attitudes of adolescents. This type of research is quasy experimental. The population is young men at SMPN 1 Long Pahangai, totaling 63 people. The sampling technique is total sampling, so the sample is 63 people. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The level of knowledge before being given education was mostly poor criteria (76.2%) and after being given education the criteria were good (100%). Attitudes about the dangers of smoking before being given education were mostly negative criteria (61.9%) and after being given education about the dangers of smoking all positive criteria (100%). There is an effect of education on the dangers of smoking on adolescent knowledge (p value 0.000 <α : 0.05) and there is an effect of education on the dangers of smoking on adolescent attitudes (p value 0.000 <α : 0.05). That means there is an influence of education on the dangers of smoking on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Spiritual Support and Quality of Life in the Elderly in Rukun Damai Village, Mahakam Ulu District. The research design is a descriptive correlation with a cross-sectional approach carried out in Rukun Damai Village, Mahakam Ulu Regency on 77 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The instruments used in the study were questionnaires for spiritual support, for the quality of life questionnaire from the WHOQOL BREF questionnaire. The results showed that the results of the Chi Square test yielded 0.001 (<0.05, H0 was rejected), meaning that there was a relationship between spiritual support and quality of life in the elderly in Kampung Rukun Damai, Mahakam Ulu District. There is a relationship between spiritual support and quality of life for the elderly in Rukun Damai Village, Mahakam Ulu Regency.

Abstract

The nurse coordinator is a manager who is directly related to nursing care activities and nursing management. Purpose This research was conducted to determine the relationship between the role of the nurse coordinator and the performance of nurses at the puskesmas. This type of quantitative research with a descriptive correlation research design using a cross sectional approach. The results of the research on the role of nurse coordinator based on this study showed a good planning role of 93.5%, an organizing role of 51.6%, a directing role good by 87.1%, and a good supervisory role by 77.4%. The results of the analysis of the relationship between the role of the nurse coordinator and the performance of nurses obtained a p value of 0.015 (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study is that the role of a good nurse coordinator can improve the performance of nurses at the puskesmas.

Abstract

Health effort is any activity to maintain and improve health, aiming to achieve optimal health status for the community. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach using the non-probability sampling method, which is taking samples that are not based on calculated probabilities. The sampling technique in this study was the respondent's purposive sampling technique. This research instrument uses a questionnaire that has been used in previous research. The time of the research was conducted in February-March 2023 at the Pintu Sehat Mahulu Hospital. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the chi square test. Service quality significantly affects patient satisfaction undergoing outpatient care at the Gateway Sehat Mahulu Primary Hospital. There is a relationship between service quality variables and satisfaction of outpatients at the Gateway Sehat Mahulu Hospital.

Abstract

Hypertension is referred to as The Silent Killer because it is often without complaints so that sufferers know after complications occur.Aims to determine the relationship between a healthy lifestyle and the level of risk of developing hypertension in patients at the Gateway Sehat Mahulu Hospital.This study used a cross-sectional approach with a non-probability sampling method that was carried out by purposive sampling. obtained 50 respondents who are patients at the Gateway Sehat Mahulu Hospital. This study used a questionnaire about healthy lifestyles and the risk of suffering from hypertension on 21-25 February 2023. Data was analyzed using the chi square test. Using the chi square test, it is known that there is a relationship between a healthy lifestyle and the risk of developing hypertension with a p value of 0.02 (p <0.05).

Abstract

Human resources or employees in an organization are an important concern in order to achieve organizational success. But not all employees have the skills and skills and work spirit in accordance with the expectations of the organization. This type of research is quantitative with 92 population from Ujoh Biku Puskesmas employees. The study used questionnaires. The time of the study was conducted on February 21 - 25, 2023. The results of this research analysis motivated the improvement of high employee work performance by 82.8% and increase in low employee performance by 17.2%. Meanwhile, low work motivation was to increase high employee work performance by 32.1% and increase in low work performance by 67.9%. Based on the results of the study using the chi square test, a p value of 0.03 (p<0.05) with an OR value of 3.951.

Abstract

This study explores the intricate relationship between unemployment, inflation, and poverty in North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. In the second quarter of 2022, inflation surged, surpassing national and regional rates. Ali Hardana's research emphasizes inflation's impact on poverty, affecting purchasing power and wealth distribution. Methodologically, a quantitative approach using secondary data from 2010 to 2022 is employed. Panel data regression reveals economic growth's substantial influence on poverty, aligned with prior research. The study underscores Islamic economics' role in alleviating poverty, stressing justice, equitable wealth distribution, and governmental interventions. The Productive Economic Endeavors (UEP) and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) programs emerge as avenues for marginalized community upliftment, guided by social equity and economic progress. The study advocates sustained robust economic growth, equitable income distribution, and fortified social assistance programs as essential strategies to combat poverty. In essence, this study enriches comprehension of the complex ties between economic factors and poverty in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Inventory of raw materials is an important factor in the company so that the supply of raw materials in CV. Metassa Collection must be sufficient to guarantee the needs for the smooth running of production activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the supply of raw materials with the Material Requirements Planning method. The method used is Material Requirement Planning (MRP). In calculating the MRP, the methods used are Lot For Lot and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). The results of the research on the smallest forecasting calculation using the Linear Regression method with MAD values ​​of 274.52, MSE 114.536, and MADE Based on MRP calculations with the Lot Sizing EOQ method produce a total cost of Rp. 2,811,032,000. The minimum ordering of raw materials using the EOQ method for controlling raw material inventory at CV. Metassa Collection.
