Abstract

Healthy plants will provide good results for farmers. As in humans, plants can also be affected by diseases that can result in death or crop failure. This study uses the object recognition method, namely YOLO (You Only Look Once) version 4 to determine whether a plant is categorized as sick or healthy. The data used in this research is secondary data. The results obtained were in line with expectations, namely being able to distinguish between healthy and diseased leaves.

Abstract

Typhoid fever is an acute febrile illness caused by an infection caused by the bacterium Salmonella enterica, especially the Salmonella typhi variant. However, other types can also cause this disease, such as Salmonella paratyphi A, Salmonella typhi B, and Salmonella paratyphi C. Typhus is an acute infectious disease of the small intestine accompanied by fever for at least a week without bladder disturbances, indigestion and loss of consciousness. The spread of this disease is almost always through food and drink contaminated by sick people. Beating typhoid requires a deeper understanding of health. Abstract

Floods have been of great concern in the Niger Delta in the recent years, precipitating this study. The research was conducted to investigate diversity of fish species in the October 2022 extreme flood in the Niger Delta. Samples were collected randomly from landings of artisanal fishers in five sample locations, sorted and identified to species level. Diversity was estimated using Shannon-Wiener's diversity H' and Simpson's diversity D indices. Richness R, Evenness E and Similarity between stations were analyzed accordingly. From the results, R was from 4.255-4.535, E was 0.789 to 0.899 and H’ 1.734-1.974. Simpson’s index D was between 0.162 and 0.226, while Simpson’s index of diversity 1-D was from 0.774 to 0.838. Highest similarity value between stations was 0.286. Results from the study indicate the creek experienced a stable system during the October 2022 flood.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving acupressure therapy on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Working Area of the Muntok Health Center in 2022. This research method used a Pre-Experimental with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample used in this study were 14 people. The results of this study revealed that there was an effect of acupressure therapy on reducing blood pressure using non-parametric statistical methods and using the Wilcoxon test obtained a value of p = 0.001 (p <0.05) in systolic and diastolic blood pressure, before and after acupressure therapy with an average systolic pretest blood pressure 150.71 and 127.14, while posttest diastolic 90.36 and 80.71. The conclusion of this study is that acupressure therapy is an alternative therapy that can treat patients with hypertension.

Abstract

Adolescence is the age most vulnerable to reproductive health problems such as early pregnancy, unsafe abortion, sexually transmitted infections, sexual harassment and rape. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counseling using video media and lecture methods on the level of knowledge of adolescent reproductive health at SMAN 4 Sendawar. This type of quantitative research uses a quasi-experimental research design with a pretest-posttest design with a control group design. The population in this study were all 67 students of SMAN 4 Sendawar, the total sample was 60 respondents: 30 video groups and 30 lecture groups. The sampling method used is total sampling with 7 people from the total population used as reserves. The data analysis technique used univariate analysis, paired sample t-test and also the frequency distribution, while the bivariate analysis used an independent sample t test. The results of hypothesis testing using the independent sample t test obtained tcount > ttable (2.763 > 2.001) and the significance value was less than 0.05 (p=0.008 <0.05). Then H0 is rejected while Ha is accepted, so there is an effect of giving counseling using video media and the lecture method on the level of knowledge of adolescent reproductive health at SMA Negeri 4 Sendawar. Counseling with video media has a greater effect on the level of knowledge of adolescent reproductive health compared to the lecture method.

Abstract

Documentation of nursing care is a means of communication between health workers in the context of restoring patient health. In this study, the type of quantitative researcher with an analytic study and with a cross-sectional design where they wanted to know the relationship between the workload of nurses and the quality of nursing care in class III inpatient rooms at RSUD dr. Abdul Rivai Berau district. The population in this study were nurses in class III inpatient rooms, namely flamboyant, dahlia and bougenvile totaling 69 people with a total sample of 40 people. In this study the sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique with certain considerations. Spearman's statistical test results for the ranking of the SPSS program obtained p value = 0.001 which is less than the p value, meaning that there is a relationship between nurse workload and quality of nursing care in class III inpatient rooms at RSUD dr. Abdul Rivai Berau district. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the workload of nurses and the quality of nursing care in class III inpatient rooms at RSUD dr. Abdul Rivai Berau district in 2022.

Abstract

Bronchopneumonia is a disease that affects many children, it is even the main killer of toddlers in the world. This study aims to determine the effect of education using cartoon media about children's food on increasing mother's knowledge and nutritional status of children with bronchopneumonia aged 1-5 years in the orchid room at RSUD dr. Abdul Rivai Berau. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test. A sample of 32 people using Consecutive sampling. The results showed that there was an effect of education using cartoon media on mothers' knowledge about children's food with a p value of 0.000, and there was no effect of education using cartoon media on the nutritional status of children in the Orchid Room of Dr. Abdul Rivai Hospital Berau with a p value of 0.157. So it can be interpreted that there is an effect of education using cartoon media on mother's knowledge about children's food in the Orchid Room of Dr. Abdul Rivai Hospital Berau and there is no effect of education using cartoon media on the nutritional status of children in the Orchid Room of Dr. Abdul Rivai Hospital Berau.

Abstract

Revised Trauma Score (RTS) is an assessment of the human physiological system as a whole. The use of the RTS method in the IGD Harapan Insan Sendawar Hospital has not been optimally implemented. This study aims to determine the relationship between RTS and head injury mortality. The type of research used is quantitative research, using a correlation analytic design with a cross sectional approach to 30 respondents. Sampling by nonprobability sampling with total sampling technique. Data collection using the RTS observation sheet. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately by using the chi square test and followed by an alternative fisher's exact test. Obtained variable value ρ value = 0.000 which is smaller than the value of α = 0.05 Then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so there is a relationship between Revised Trauma Score and head injury mortality. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between Revised Trauma Score (RTS) and head injury mortality. It is suggested that the Hospital is able to improve the application of the Revised Trauma Score (RTS) assessment.
