Abstract

Many people still do not know the risks, prevention, and treatment solutions related to liver disease. Therefore, many Indonesian people are affected by liver diseases such as hepatitis and other liver diseases because they are not aware of the symptoms they are experiencing. Therefore, this expert system is designed to help diagnose the symptoms experienced by people or patients who have liver disease. With this expert system, it can help overcome delays in handling so that it is not severe later. This expert system is created using the Bayes theorem method where in each symptom there is a probability or possibility which then gets the final result in the form of how big the event occurred. This expert system diagnoses the symptoms selected by the patient. After that, get the value of the possibility of a disease suffered by the patient. The results of this study are to produce an expert system for diagnosing liver disease using the website-based Bayes theorem method. This system can help diagnose a patient’s symptoms quickly and is used anywhere.

Abstract

PT Sakari Sumber Abadi is a manufacturing company that is engaged in producing plywood products as its main product. This company has waste in the production line, namely in the 4.6 mm Birch product, including shrinkage putty, press mark, tip delemination, bubbles, ripping. Whereas for 18 mm Birch products, among others, press marks, putty shrinkage, concave, overlap, putty face too wide, ripping, waste in the face and delamination of the ends. What you want to achieve in this research is to eliminate the waste of 4.6 mm Birch Products and 18 mm Birch Products found in the Hot Press section in order to fulfill customer demand with the Lean Manufacturing approach. Lean Manufacturing is a systematic approach that eliminates waste and transforms processes. The results of the inspection using the Quality Filter Mapping (QFM) method obtained the largest waste in the Birch 4.6 mm Face 0.5 mm product, namely Failure to Riject by 0.82% and on Birch 18 mm Face 0.28 mm product, namely Failure to Riject by 7.1%. Recommendations for improvement include standard parameters of temperature, press time and pressure.

Abstract

Tiga Hati Mutiara is a food industry located in Sukoharjao, Central Java. One of the activities in the production process is packaging. The posture of the workers in the packing process is to stand and bend over. The position of the worker is very dangerous if it is done repeatedly and continuously. This study aims to identify the posture and ergonomic risks of workers and provide suggestions for improving worker posture. The methods used in this research are the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method and the Ovako Work Posture Analysis System (OWAS) method. The results of the research on the packaging process using the REBA method obtained a score of 8, which means that the level of risk is high and needs immediate improvement, while the OWAS method has a score of 4, which means that this attitude is very dangerous for the musculoskeletal system and needs immediate improvement. Improvements made are to improve the position of workers and dimensions of the table. After the improvement, the REBA score was 2 and OWAS was 1, which means that the proposed posture condition is good.

Abstract

Indonesia currently has a growing need for energy, this will experience an energy crisis, dependence on fossil fuels will at least have a serious threat, therefore there must be alternative energy as a substitute and reserve such as wind energy, water energy, solar energy, and other. This study aims to develop a wind power plant as an alternative source to produce electrical energy, namely a wind turbine. This tool is used to meet energy needs and also as an alternative energy so that fossil fuels will not run out. Because Indonesia is an archipelagic country and is located on the equator, Indonesia is a country that has abundant resources, one of which is wind. Wind turbine is a tool that functions to convert wind power into mechanical power in the form of a shaft rotation, this shaft rotation is then used for power generation or for water pumps. Therefore I tried to develop my ideas to utilize abundant natural resources to be used as a source of electrical energy by means of a wind turbine using a Naca 0018 blade. This study aims to determine the effect of the number of blades, the effect of profiles, the effect of the wing tip of the rotor blades. , naca 0018, and the resulting energy efficiency. This study uses the type of experimental research.

Abstract

Uterine disease is a disease that generally attacks female reproduction. Most women know a disease that is in their womb when the disease is declared severe or so-called advanced stage. With this expert system, it is hoped that human uterine diseases can be detected early and can minimize the occurrence of more dangerous diseases. The method used in this expert system is the Dempster Shafer calculation method. This expert system works by entering the symptoms experienced by the patient after which the system will work according to the calculations determined by the expert who entered the knowledge base. The result of this research is to build an expert system for diagnosis of gynecology using a website-based dempster shafer. This website can be used as the use of technology so that it can be used to diagnose uterine diseases precisely and accurately, so that people with gynecological diseases are handled more quickly from an early age.

Abstract

Every day visitors to the UMSIDA electrical engineering laboratory have different goals. The main function of the laboratory is as a practicum for electrical engineering students and is also used to work on coursework. This study aims to control the use of laboratory PCs using Internet of Things-based RFID card verification. The application of RFID connected to the Wemos D1 Mini is expected to be able to reduce unexpected actions such as theft and hacking of data on the PC. The PC will be installed with an RFID reader to verify the RFID card as the initial stage of PC use. The results of the research trials showed that by bringing the RFID card from 0 cm to 2.5 cm closer to the RFID reader, the RFID card was successfully verified effectively. When the RFID card is successfully verified by the RFID reader, the PC will automatically turn on, the verification results will be displayed on the 16 x 2 LCD and android smartphone so that they can monitor every time and get an android notification that sends information that the verification process was successful and the PC is on. Laboratory PCs are safer from unwanted use by using RFID technology that is connected to the Wemos D1 Mini for monitoring and controlling via a smartphone remotely in real-time because before using a PC, it must go through a verification process.

Abstract

Feeding fish is a process that affects fish yields. Undisciplined feeding of fish resulted in decreased quality and quantity of fish. The potential for this problem can be reduced by implementing an IoT-based technology. That technology needs to have a monitoring system for remaining feed and the success of feeding. This study using a proximity sensor and infrared distance sensor for the monitoring system for the fish feeder. The results obtained are that the infrared distance sensor can provide information about the remaining fish feed more accurately after being calibrated, the average percentage error of the total test is 5,1%. While the proximity infrared sensor can provide information on the success of throwing feed, from the total testing of the proximity sensor, the success rate of detecting throw feed is 100%. Both information can be monitored via the Blynk platform on the user’s smartphone.
