Abstract

This data article offers a comprehensive scholarly overview of the digital forensics and crime research landscape from 2002 to 2012, as captured from Lens.org. Employing the search terms "Digital Forensic" and "Crime," we identified a corpus of 2,078 documents. The research's primary objectives were to provide insights into the abundance of research articles in this intersection and to facilitate future explorations in digital forensics and crime. Data filtering encompassed document type, date range, and subject matter (Law), yielding a final dataset of 41 journal articles. The results revealed trends in institutional contributions, active authors, leading fields of study, prominent publications, and the most prolific publishers. This dataset will empower researchers, students, and practitioners embarking on digital forensic investigations and studies of cybercrimes. Highlight: Comprehensive Dataset: A robust dataset comprising 2,078 scholarly publications related to digital forensics and crime was assembled from 2002 to 2012. Research Insights: The data analysis sheds light on active institutions, prolific authors, dominant research fields, significant publications, and prominent publishers in this domain. Abstract

This data article presents a meticulously curated dataset aimed at simplifying digital forensic research in the domain of online business and social media. The study commences with a keyword-based search on Lens.org, yielding a total of 107,879 records, which are then exported in both CSV and BIBTEX formats. Subsequently, the dataset is refined by applying filters for "Journal Article" and "Conference Proceedings Article," resulting in 86,266 data entries. Finally, a filter for "Law" as the subject matter narrows the dataset down to 3,075 records. This comprehensive dataset serves as a valuable resource for researchers, facilitating literature reviews and enabling experimentation in the dynamic intersection of online business and social media, particularly in the context of legal aspects.Highlights : Comprehensive dataset creation for digital forensic research. Abstract

This study involved a multi-step data retrieval process from Lens.org, aimed at analyzing the landscape of cyber law and drone research. The primary objective was to conduct a literature review on the intersection of cyber law and drone technology, and it was undertaken as part of a coursework requirement on Cyber Law. The data collection process involved searching for articles related to "Cyber Law" or "Cyberlaw" and "Drone," resulting in a dataset of 6,563 records. Subsequent filtering narrowed it down to 3,899 journal articles, and a further filter focusing on the subject matter "Law" yielded 455 articles. The final stage involved analyzing various aspects of the dataset, including top institutions, trends over time, active authors, fields of study, countries/regions, and publishers. This data offers valuable insights into the legal aspects of drone technology in the context of cyber law and can serve as a comprehensive resource for researchers, journalists, and students seeking information on this subject. This data article presents a systematic data retrieval process on lens.org, where a search for "Online Business" and "Human Rights" keywords yielded 63,504 documents. Filtering by document type, we focused on "Journal Article" and "Conference Proceeding," resulting in 49,616 relevant documents. In the final step, further refinement by the subject matter "Law" identified 2,639 documents. The data collection involved filtering for "Journal Articles" and "Conference Proceedings" with the "Law" subject matter. The primary objective was to quantify the volume of research on Online Business and Grocery using the keyword "online business AND grocery" on Lens.org. The dataset contains 3,522 relevant documents. Notably, the University of Technology Sydney, University of Melbourne, University of Bath, Northumbria University, and London School of Economics and Political Science are the top institutions contributing to this research domain, collectively generating 2 journal articles. The dataset spans a wide range of years, with 2016 and 2017 being the most prolific years, each yielding 8 journal articles. Sociology emerges as the dominant field, contributing 16 journal articles. This dataset was acquired through a systematic search on the lens.org website, utilizing keywords "Digital forensic" and "tomography." The goal of this data collection is to facilitate future research in digital forensics with a specific focus on the intersection of digital forensic analysis and tomographic techniques.
