Abstract

This data article aims to quantify the extent of scholarly literature addressing the nexus of Online Business and Tax Compliance. Leveraging the Lens.org platform, we conducted a keyword search for "Online Business AND Tax Compliance," resulting in a total of 10,180 documents. Employing filters for Document Types (Journal Article and Conference Proceedings) and Subject Matter (Law), we refined the dataset to 509 documents. This dataset facilitates comprehensive research on the intersection of online business operations and tax compliance, offering valuable insights and resources for scholars and researchers in the field.Highlights: Extensive Dataset: This data article provides access to a substantial dataset of 509 journal articles and conference proceedings, offering researchers a comprehensive resource for in-depth exploration of the relationship between online business and tax compliance. This study examines a decade of digital forensic research using data from lens.org, focusing on "Digital Forensic" and "Methods." The dataset, rigorously filtered for Scholarly Works, reveals key trends: the University of Worcester as a prolific contributor (2 articles), a publication peak between 2010-2011 (15 articles), and Computer Science dominating with 65 articles. Concordia University Wisconsin emerges as active, publishing 2 articles, with Ameir Hossein Taherinia as a standout author (3 publications). Notably, the seminal work "An Automated Timeline Reconstruction Approach for Digital Forensic Investigations" garnered 100 citations. The United States leads in activity (18 articles), with Inderscience Publishers notably featuring in the "International Journal of Electronic Security and Digital Forensics" (24 articles). Noteworthy findings reveal prolific contributions from institutions like the University of Lausanne and University College Dublin, showcasing 2019 as a peak year with 42 publications. Computer Science dominates, encompassing 223 articles, with Graeme Horsman emerging as a prominent author with 13 publications. The UK leads in scholarly activity, generating 74 articles, while Elsevier stands out as the primary publisher with 145 articles. Abstract

This comprehensive dataset sourced from Lens.org focuses on digital forensics and neural networks, spanning scholarly articles from 2002 to 2012. With 476 curated journal articles, our study refined to 16 pertinent law-related articles using advanced search filters. The goal was to illuminate key trends in this dynamic realm, highlighting institutions like University of Westminster and University of Texas at San Antonio, active years in 2007 and 2012, and the prevalence of computer science as the primary field of study. Notable works, like "An automated timeline reconstruction approach for digital forensic investigations" by N Lang Beebe and J Guynes Clark in 2016, were identified. Our findings provide nuanced insights, shaping future discourse on the interdisciplinary nexus between digital forensics and neural networks. Leveraging specific filters, 9 law-focused articles were meticulously selected. The primary goal was to provide a comprehensive view of Cyberlaw's global landscape concerning student populations. This dataset, compiled from 1523 documents retrieved via lens.org using "E-Commerce" and "Tax Evasion" keywords, focuses on the legal aspects of online business. After refining document types to "Journal Article" and "Conference Proceeding," 771 relevant documents were obtained. The goal was to create a resource aiding research into the intersection of E-Commerce and Tax Evasion. Employing document type filters ensured a refined dataset for scholars and researchers.
