The problem of poverty is a problem that is so complex and always exists in social life that involves aspects of human life, even though its presence is often not realized by the person concerned. This study aims to analyze the effect of Education, Population, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and Labor Force on the level of Poverty in Central Java in 2018-2020. The data obtained is from the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Central Java Province. Data were taken from 29 districts and 6 cities in Central Java Province. The analysis tool uses panel data regression. The results of this study indicate that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the selected panel data regression model. Based on the test results, it was found that the level of significance of Education, Population and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) had an effect on the level of Poverty in Central Java in 2018-2020.

Abstract

Multi-group conflict occurs when community groups with different interests from other groups have a variety of priorities for each resource and the development of management policies. Likewise in the dynamics of conflict between industry players and the community in defending their every interest. Conflict complexity basically includes various combinations of power, value and economic resources. Related to complexity which is often beyond the authority of institutions in general and there are standard procedures that have been carried out so far, to build consensus from various stakeholders, it is necessary to have a resolution by conducting a collaborative approach involving various other constituents. This collaborative approach in groups needs to be carried out dialogically in order to get an understanding between the conflicting groups. Then, among others, they reach consensus to achieve the desired resolution between the interests of stakeholders.

Abstract

The still high cases of tax avoidance in Indonesia, prompting the need to identify the factors that affect tax avoidance. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of profitability, leverage, sales growth, independent commissioners, and institutional ownership on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. This research was designed using quantitative methods. The data used in this study were obtained from the website www.idx.co.id and the company's financial statements. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained as many as 49 companies for each year. The total sample used is 245 and the data outlier is 41 so that the total sample is 204 during the 5-year observation period. The collected sample data was then tested for hypotheses using the method of multiple linear regression analysis, and statistical test analysis. The test results show that the profitability variable has a significant effect on tax avoidance. While the variables of leverage, sales growth, independent commissioners, and institutional ownership have no significant effect on tax avoidance.

Abstract

Indonesia has a very large area of oil palm plantations, one of which is the island of Sumatra. However, in processing and handling palm oil product waste in the form of palm shells, it has not been maximized. Therefore, the chemical decomposition process can play an important role in supporting waste management and sustainable energy use in Indonesia which is not yet optimal. In this research, the proper use of power will be tested with the help of microwaves as a reactor for the co-pyrolysis process of oil palm shells and polystyrene plastic. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriate power to produce maximum co-pyrolysis products and to investigate the physical characteristics of the oil-pyrolytic products. The test uses a microwave oven which has a power variation of 300 W, 450 W, 600 W, and 800 W with the addition of a catalyst. The ratio of the composition of oil palm shells to polystyrene plastic is 1:1 with a total mass of 105 gr and using coconut shell charcoal as an activated carbon absorber. The pyrolysis temperature is 500 ℃, the nitrogen gas flow rate is 1.5 LPM, and the pyrolysis time is 60 minutes. Furthermore, testing the physical properties of the pyrolysis oil product in the form of density, acidity, and viscosity testing. The results showed that the optimal power to obtain oil-pyrolytic was 600 W with a product oil of 17.6%, and from the physical properties it had a low viscosity value of 2.55 mPa.s with a pH level of 6.6.
