Abstract

Asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are a major public health problem and a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Asthma and COPD are the most common chronic respiratory diseases, each with a specific pathophysiology. Usually, asthma is characterized by chronic inflammation of the airways with reversible symptoms, while COPD is characterized by persistent respiratory changes in the bronchopulmonary system. The importance of the need for its further study is beyond doubt, since this pathology significantly reduces the quality of life of patients, being a serious medical and social problem.

Abstract

Due to the significant prevalence of chronic nonspecific lung diseases and the high level of disability, one of the most important tasks of healthcare is the prevention and effective diagnosis, as well as the treatment of patients withchronic diseases of the lower respiratory tract. However, patients can sometimes have clinical features of both diseases, and this condition is called asthma-COPD overlap (ACO). recommended by the joint guidelines of GINA (Global Strategy for the Management and Prevention of Asthma) and GOLD (Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). According to this guide, ACOis characterized by "permanent airflow limitation with some features of asthma and COPD."

Abstract

It should be noted that the sharp development of the urbanization process as well as the increase in the population significantly exceeds the demand for housing construction in the country. The optimal solution to this issue is the construction of multi-storey houses. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the housing reforms carried out today are evidence of this. Multi-storey houses are used not only to provide housing for the population , but also to radically change the appearance of cities and bring them to the level to which they can meet the modern demand. For this reason, the construction of multi-storey residences in our country is also gaining momentum.

Abstract

Currently, Fuel Cell technology is widely used as a supporting technology for energy storage systems in the electrical system. With the widespread use of renewable energy as an energy source today, several schemes have been tried for the installation of Fuel Cells after the converter, but the performance of the Fuel Cells is not very helpful because the response time is not significant enough to raise power requirements when input intermittent occurs (on a time scale of seconds). . In this study, a simulation of the installation of a fuel cell was carried out in an isolated electrical system (off-grid) containing solar panels. To increase the performance of the Fuel Cell, the installation will be carried out by Direct-Coupling before the converter. The results of this study indicate that the installation of Direct-Coupling can help improve the performance of Fuel Cells in off-grid renewable energy electrical systems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of service at the intersection of Jl. Jend. Sudirman-Jl. A.P. Pettarani Maros City often experiences a slowdown in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The research uses survey methods and the data processing method uses quantitative methods based on statistical data. The data required for data collection and collection includes the following data: the vehicle population is taken for 6 (six) working days. The location of this research will be carried out on the Jl. Jend.. Sudirman-Jl. A.P. Pettarani Maros City. Data analysis includes vehicle characteristics. Based on observations at the intersection of Jl. Gen. Sudirman-Jl. A.P. Pettarani Maros City often experiences a slowdown in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The volume of the vehicle is quite large. In addition, it causes traffic slowdown at intersections. In addition to the distance from other alternative roads that can be crossed, the level of deceleration on Jl. Jend.. Sudirman-Jl. A.P. Pettarani Maros City used to be often jammed so that there was a slowdown when approaching the Horse Statue Monument. Traffic regulation at this intersection is assisted by traffic lights, but there are still long queues, especially during peak hours. Meanwhile, the development of road facilities is not matched by the growth of traffic volume, so that the intersection does not serve the traffic volume.

Abstract

The development of the industry towards the 5.0 era and triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic made the use of online media rampant. Many parents are aware of the dangers of online media for children, but the lack of mastery of technology is an obstacle for parents in protecting their children. This activity aimed to increase the knowledge of mothers in protecting their children from the risk of sexual violence both by contact and online through the mobile-based application “Hi Dia”. The method used was the community education method through counseling. The educational materials provided were the socialization of the underwear rules, parenting materials on Online Gender-Based abuse, and technology lecture materials for mothers. Twenty-five mothers participated offline in this activity. Mothers' knowledge about protecting children from the dangers of online sexual abuse was measured before and after the paired t-test was carried out. The results obtained p-value 0.005 concluded that there was an increase in the knowledge of mothers in protecting their children from the dangers of sexual abuse. This activity should be made a routine agenda considering the rapid development of technology triggers the need for technology-savvy mothers to protect their children from the dangers of online media.

Abstract

In the management of services during the COVID-19 pandemic, there are various kinds of assessments from service users about the Masagung Auto Body Repair workshop. The problem of service that does not satisfy customers is a separate lesson for Masagung's workshop in making considerations to evaluate the company's performance, in order to avoid a decrease in consumer interest in the future. This study aims to determine how far the level of service quality that has been provided by Masagung to customers when viewed from the dimensions of service quality by using a quantitative approach to the associative method. The results of this study are based on partial tests and simple linear regression, in data processing using a Likert scale and also using a scatterplot. The data studied are the results of the answers of respondents who make vehicle repairs at Masagung Workshop. The sample used is the consumers who come to visit Masagung Workshop to do car repairs. The conclusion in this study is that service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, this can be seen in the t test where t count is 3.452 > t table value is 1.987 with a significant 0.001 and a coefficient value of 0.131. This shows that the quality of service provided by the Masagung workshop is a factor that greatly influences the satisfaction of customers who come to the Masagung workshop.
