Abstract

This article aims to elaborate on the occurrence of cultural and ideological transfers from the translation of the interpretation of the Qur’an written by the Lahore Ahmadiyya figure, Maulana Mohammad Ali. The translation of the work of Tafsir Al-Qur’an is very much done from both Arabic and English Tafsir. The translation of The Holy Qur’an is the first translation of the Qur’anic interpretation carried out in Indonesia. HOS Tjokroaminoto as the translator of the work and part of the translation was published in 1928 with a preface from Haji Agus Salim. However, the translation project had to be stopped due to opposition from Muhammadiyah during the Sarekat Islam Congress in 1927. This translation was continued by A. Aziz and completed in 1939 but was not allowed to be published. Then in 1959 the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia gave permission to publish a Javanese edition translated by R. Ng. H. Minhadjurrahman Djayasugita and Mufti Sharif. As for the Indonesian edition, it has just been published in its entirety from the translation of H.M Bachrun in 1978 from a revised edition which has been published several times until now.

Abstract

Islamic Philosophy is a complex and multifaceted discipline that has undergone significant evolution over the centuries. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the study of Contemporary Islamic Philosophy, reflecting the need to engage with the challenges facing Muslim communities in the modern world. This paper aims to provide a critical overview of the current trends in Contemporary Islamic Philosophy, focusing on key debates, developments, and applications of the discipline. The paper is based on a review of the literature in the field, and will provide insights into the ways in which contemporary scholars are reinterpreting classical Islamic thought and adapting it to the present-day context. The paper will also explore the relationship between Contemporary Islamic Philosophy and other related fields, such as Islamic studies, philosophy, religious studies, and social sciences.

Abstract

Hermeneutics functions as a theory of interpretation, closely related to language. One that cannot be separated from language is text, which requires a series of reading tools to understand it, one of which is the theory of hermeneutics. This article aims to find out the thoughts of Schleiermacher and Dilthey as the originators of romantic hermeneutics and their application in hadith. This article is qualitative in nature with literature data related to Schleiermacher and Dilthey's hermeneutical thinking and hadith about women's leadership. Through a philosophy of science approach, this article finds that Schleiermacher is the father of modern hermeneutics whose ideas about the mental world were developed by Dilthey who explained about the socio-historical world. Abstract

The physical structure will not be able to form an outward behavior, and vice versa the spirit will not function if there is no body as a vessel for the spirit. These two things reflect that humans are the noblest and most beautiful creatures compared to other creatures created by Allah SWT. Health includes physical and spiritual. The aim of the research is to find out the Physical Education of sport and health in the Al-Qur'an. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive study of the verses of the Koran which have the intention of physical education, sports and health. The data source of this research uses secondary and primary data. Methods of data collection using the method of content analysis and manuscript review. Data analysis techniques used content analysis and literature review. The results of the research are exercise and rest in the Qur'an namely Al-Furqan: 47, Al-Qashahs: 73, An-Naba': 9, Ar-Rum: 23). Furthermore, regulate diet and health (Al-A'raf: 31, Al-Mukmin: 43, Al-Maidah: 5). The verses of the Qur'an in Sports Physical Education and Health in the World of Education are understood in the context of events and to give attention in the context of self-effort to worship Allah

Abstract

Education is an important component in efforts to penetrate and transform human consciousness, attitudes and behavior. This paper aims to examine the nature of tarbiyah and taklim in the verses of the Koran. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a library study approach. In addition to examining the nature of tarbiyah and taklim in the Koran, this paper is also accompanied by a study of hadiths regarding tarbiyah and taklim. With various terminological studies, the research results show the difference between the nature of tarbiyah and taklim that the scope of the term al-ta'lim is more universal than the scope of the term al-tarbiyah

Abstract

The background of this research problem originates from the Al-Qur'an tadarus activity carried out by teenagers in Kapalo Koto Kanagarian Balai Gurah, IV Angkek District, Agam Regency, including teenagers who are in a mosque youth organization, namely Taqwa Mosque Youth (REMESTA). Al-Qur'an tadarus activities are carried out not only in the month of Ramadan, but are also carried out on ordinary days after prayer and at night related to Al-Qur'an tahsin. The research in this thesis aims to find out how Al-Qur'an recitation is carried out in Al-Qur'an tadarus activities among young people at the Taqwa Mosque in Kapalo Koto Kanagarian Balai Gurah District IV Angkek, Agam Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using data collection techniques, interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the tahsin of the Qur'an which is carried out in Al-Qur'an tadarus activities among adolescents uses the talaqqi method which can make teenagers better understand the makharijul of letters, the characteristics of letters, and the law of tajwid in the Qur'an, as well as being able to fluent, refine, improve in reading the Qur'an.

Abstract

This paper is the result of research that aims to re-examine the understanding of the concept of asbāb al-nuzūl contained in various ‘ulūm al-Qur`an literature. This research is a library research by examining a number of written documents such as journals, books, articles, and other writings related to asbāb al-nuzūl. After that, descriptive-analytic techniques were used to analyze the data sources. The results of this study found that classical and contemporary scholars have different understanding of the text of the Qur'an which has implications for differences in formulating the method of ‘ulūm al-Qur`an, one of which is asbāb al-nuzūl. For classical scholars, asbāb al-nuzūl is only understood as an explanation of the verses that were revealed or even only used to interpret certain verses. Meanwhile, contemporary scholars understand asbāb al-nuzūl not only to assist commentator in interpreting verses, but also as a method for finding the deepest meaning of the verses revealed so that they remain relevant at all times in any situation and condition

Abstract

This article to explain with the aim of how to understand the utterance of nash, in such a way according to its importance in capturing the divine messages, especially the nash of the Qur'an, and it should be underlined that the rules of tafsir include many parts, one of which is the theory in the realm of Usul Fiqh science which is part of the Islamic branch of Science which broadly discusses how to explore and bring up the Shari'ah law from the nash in the Qur'an. The method used by researchers is a qualitative research method, which relies on the study of literature sourced from several books and journals. The result of this discussion is that learning the Arabic language is an urgency or an absolute requirement to draw meaning from the message of the Qur'an, because in studying the science of Usul Fiqh, in fact, it will never be separated from the Arabic language, in understanding the utterance in terms of its meaning, both clear and unclear. Pronouncements that can not be interpreted clearly or mubham, that's what causes a lot of differences in interpretation of the statement and it is important to be studied more deeply

Abstract

The article also explores the concept of pillars in the Quran and their differences from the Western view. In the Quran, pillars are often used as a symbol of stability and strength, representing the steadfastness of believers in their faith. This concept is different from the Western view, where pillars are often seen as mere structural elements that provide support. The philosophical implications of a pillar-less sky in the Quran are also discussed in the article. The symbolism of a pillar-less sky represents the idea of unity and impartiality in Islam, which emphasizes the importance of a unified and impartial approach to life. This concept has practical implications in everyday life, as it encourages individuals to adopt an open-minded and inclusive attitude towards others. Overall, this article aims to provide a deeper understanding of the Quranic concept of a pillar-less sky and its philosophical implications in everyday life. By exploring the symbolism and significance of this concept, readers can gain a greater appreciation of the wisdom and guidance offered by the Quran in understanding the universe and living a fulfilling life
