Abstract

Humans are faced with various life choices. Choosing, wanting and living these choices is a common thing to do. However, whether human choices, wills and actions are sourced from themselves or are they all determined by the destiny of God, the creator of everything. This phrase will get different answers from some theological groups. Each has strong arguments and refutation of arguments that contradict each other. Of these groups, one of the most phenomenal is the rationalist Mu'tazilah group. Al-Zamakhsyari was one of the great figures of the Mu'tazilah. Tafsir Al-Kasysyaf is the work of al-Zamakhsyari who has contributed greatly to the understandings of the Mu'tazilah, including their understanding of the concept of human action. This area will be discussed in this article. The author takes several crucial verses about the concept of human action, then analyzes al-Zamakhsyari's interpretation of these verses followed by comments or opinions of the interpreters after al-Zamakhsyari's life. Al-Zamakhsyari's efforts in defending his ideology through the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an become an interesting study that will be discussed in this paper. Al-Zamakhsyari does this by making additions or interpretations that can attract the editor of the verse to agree with his ideology.

Abstract

This paper proves that the ideological construction of an interpretation will determine the tendency of a product of interpretation and has the potential to reduce the meaning of a text and even reject other interpretations. The product of such interpretation is only more concerned with the process of elaborating verses for certain interests by designing themes and sub-themes as well as tendentious conclusions and even blaming "infidel" Muslims who are not in line, intolerant of differences of opinion, partial and fanatical which are full of radical ideologies. The findings in this article prove that the construction of Rokhmat S. Labib's interpretation is more of a process of elaborating verses for certain interests by designing themes and sub-themes with tendentious conclusions and even blaming "infidels" Muslims who are impartial, intolerant of differences, partial and fanatical. . The interpretation is often separated from the context of the verse, which causes this work to be inconsistent in taking references even though it does not ignore the historical context of the verse. This article also proves that the author's background determines ideological tendencies and interests in an interpretation.

Abstract

This study is aimed at exposing the conception of the verses of the Qur'an vis a vis the Verses of Satan. Salman Rushdie with his work The Satanic Verses (Satanic Verses) once shocked the Islamic world, by trying to counter the belief of Muslims in the sacredness of the verses of the Qur'an. Uniquely, Rushdie's view is actually contained in the treasures of Islam itself, namely the Qissat al-ghar?n?q (Story of the Crane). Although its validity is doubtful, narrations about Satan's verses have been included in various commentaries, including: Tafsr al-Thabari, Tafsr al-Kasyaf, Tafs Jar Jalalayn and others. They raised the devil's whispering verse (ghar?n?q) when interpreting verse 52 of surah al-Hajj.

Abstract

This article describes about hell in various suras in the Qur'an, one of which is Surah Maryam verses 71 and 72. Unlike other verses, this verse states that everyone will come to hell whether he is a disobedient person or a believer. Regarding this verse, there are differences of opinion on the meaning of the word ?????????? which means to come to him. Some interpret it with the meaning of entering. While some others interpret it with the meaning of passing. Imam al-Tabari is one of the commentators who provides a fairly detailed interpretation of the verse. The author uses a qualitative method of literature (library research) with the theory of tahlili. The author conducts a search and collects various data related to the variables studied, then analyzes interpretively and descriptively on the data that has been collected. The meaning of the word ?????????? in this verse according to al-Tabari is al-Mururu or passing, that is, all believers or unbelievers will pass through hell, namely through sirat that lies above hell.

Abstract

This study concludes that science needs ethical backing in the area of praxis. The development of science in the 20th century as a continuation of the passion of the Copernican revolution must refer to universal values, not just for the sake of science itself. So that in turn, science will benefit humanity. On the other hand, the real ethical foundation has been in the tradition from the beginning by the Qur'an through the holistic-universal messages it contains. In particular, the Qur'an asserts itself as a guide to life, a giver of good news and a warning to mankind. This shows that the qur'anic narrative is a narrative of instructions on how to live a better life by making science an instrument of civilization

Abstract

This study proves that to improve intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence of early childhood, is the isomorphic model in the perspective of the Qur'an, which includes three main educational matters, namely: aqidah (tawhid), morals, worship. This research is a qualitative research to reveal the social situation that occurred in PAUD. The data collection is done by collecting sources and from primary and secondary data. In analyzing the data that has been collected the author uses data analysis (content analysis). A concept used by commentators in explaining the content of the verses of the Qur'an from various aspects by paying attention to the verses of the Qur'an as stated in the manuscripts. It starts by mentioning the verses to be interpreted, explaining the meaning of the lafadz contained therein. Then the interpreted verses are described and analyzed clearly, so that conclusions can be drawn.

Abstract

This study demonstrates Quran-based Interfaith Conflict Resolution as a conflict management model that introduces and promotes the theory of nonviolence and peace-building and the principle of coexistence among religious believers. Although some verses in Quran may mention and justifies the use of limited force as in Quranic verses QS. al-Baqarah/2:190 and QS. al-Hajj/9:39, some others also present a lot of principles and the implementation of nonviolence including patience, forgiveness, tolerance, dispute prevention and management, the prohibition of seeking revenge, clarification (tabayun), dialogue, negotiation, mediation, mutual curse (mubahalah), acceptance of agreement, persuasive preaching, reconciliation, and amnesty. This study introduces the Ethical-Technical Conflict Resolution or Management model as it contains ethical and technical foundation formulas. The ethical foundation formula as the basic principles, for example, includes justice, maslahah (public interest), tolerance, and nonviolence. In the meantime, the technical foundation which is operational in nature includes dialogue, social interaction and cooperation, negotiation, mediation, peace agreement, law enforcement, reconciliation and amnesty

Abstract

This study aims to determine the educational approach in analyzing gender. The research method uses qualitative research with a library approach. For the approach to the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an using thematic interpretations or maudu'i interpretations. Gender analysis is a tool for analyzing data and information in uncovering the positions, roles, functions and responsibilities of women and men, identifying influencing factors and impacts that occur as a result of acculturation in life and society. In the Qur'an to be able to analyze gender, you can use an approach by knowing sex and gender. Sex is the sexes of men and women, while gender is a concept used to interpret men and women in terms of roles and functions in the order of life. The framework used in gender analysis is using the Harvard framework (role dan economic approach), Moser Analysis (Development and Gender Approach), SWOT analysis (Strengthen, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat), Longwe Framework Analysis (Empowerment Framework), and Social Relations analysis (Social welfare)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and understand the meaning of the spirit in general in the Qur'an and specifically according to Zezen's Thoughts Zainal Abidin Bazul Asyhab. He is one of the Archipelago Figures, Charismatic Ulama from West Java and he is one of the Sufi figures whose thoughts in his study, especially on the study of interpretation, are considered productive and have significant and substantive contributions. The researcher describes Zezen's findings that reveal the meaning of spirit in the Qur'an by taking verses from the Qur'an, namely QS: al-Isra' verse 85 which is the basis of the polemic of the discussion about the spirit whose findings are that the discussion about the spirit is very broad. and not only half understood. The findings of the discussion of the spirit in the Qur'an are very broad and there are various meanings of the pronunciation of the spirit in the Qur'an and its relation is very important for humans to know and understand the divinity dimension that exists within themselves, especially as God's perfect creation.

Abstract

When the mufasir interprets Bismill?h al-Ra?m?n al-Ra??m into a work of interpretation, the understanding and meaning produced is generally based on prayer and the relation of f?‘idah isti’?nah (asking for help like a servant to His Lord) usually other interpretations. This output is caused by the fact that basmalah is interpreted in its entirety, without specifying the interpretation of the sentences in it, or it may be detailed but not upproached with grammatical-arabic discourse. Slightly different from the interpretation carried out by Kyai Asmuni, it does not only focus on this but raises at least three scientific domains such as theology (al-’aq?dah), fiqh (al-h}ukm), and sufism (al-akhl?q). Even at the same time, this realm can also became an icon of its interpretation style and at the same time demarcate it from other interpretaions. Understanding and meaning of this religious trilogy was originally explored by the author through his meditation on the basics and bases such as writing lafal (kit?bah), reading (qira‘at), language (lughah), syintax (nahwu), literature (bal?ghah), and logic (mantiq) in the context of reading “ba”, “ism”, jalalah “Allah” and “al-Rahman al-Rahim”.
