Abstract

Seiring dengan berkembangnya ekonomi global yang begitu cepat, hal ini juga diiringi dengan kemajuan teknologi, informasi dan teknologi komunikasi. maka tingkat interaksi antar individu dari berbagai belahan dunia juga meningkat secara drastis. Dengan adanya kemajuan dalam bidang tersebut, komunikasi interpersonal menuntut kita sekarang ini untuk menguasai lebih dari satu bahasa Bahasa adalah sebuah sistem tanda yang kita gunakan untuk herkomunikasi dengan orang lain Faktanya adalah bahwa kemampuan berbicara dengan lebih satu bahasa bukan hanya menimbulkan bilingualism akan tetapi juga membuat orang cenderung untuk mencampur (mix) atau mengubah (switch) bahasa kapanpun mereka berbicara. Dalam penelitian ini penulis fokus pada tiga permasalahan yaitu 1) Jenis atau Tipe alih kode yang terjadi atau dilakukan oleh kru kapal dalam percakapan mereka, 2) Faktor atau alasan yang mendorong para kru untuk melakukan alih kode, dan 3) Adakah dampak atau masalah yang timbul dari praktek alih kode ini dalam kegiatan kerja di kapal Beberapa teori diambil sebagai landasan dalam penelitian ini, antara lain teori tentang sosiolinguistik, kedwibahasaan, alih kode, faktor yang mempengaruhi alih kode dan fungsi alih kode digunakan untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang diajukan dalam penelitian Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan catatan. Data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel sehingga mempermudah dalam menganalisa masalah dalam penelitian ini. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini. adalah 1) ada tiga jenis alih kode yang dilakukan oleh kru dalam interaksi mereka yaitu inter-sentential switching, intra-sentential switching dan tag switching 2) beberapa faktor ata alasan melatarbelakangi atau mendorong kru untuk melakukan alih kode antara lain membuat percakapan lebih mudah dimengerti oleh lawan tutur.mengarahkan topic pembicaraan dari formal ke informal dan sebaliknya, menciptakan interaksi yang lebih dekat dan santai. Kesulitan menemukan makna atau arti kata dalam bahasa yang anda gunakan, untuk menunjukkan solidaritas dengan orang lain. Untuk membuat lebih mudah memahami opini. Maksud mengklarifikasi menjelaskan isi pembicaraan kepada lawan bicara, dan pengulangan yang dilakukan sebagai klarifikasi berbicara mengenai topic tertentu. 3) Praktek alih kode tidak menimbulkan dampak dalam proses kerja di kapal, karena justru dengan alih kode, pesan atau informasi akan lebih mudah untuk dipahami atau dimengerti oleh lawan bicara.

Abstract

The research entitled Efektivitas Mata Kuliah Bahasa Indonesia Dalam Rangka Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa (Effectiveness of Bahasa Indonesia Courses in Order to Improve the Writing Ability of Student's Final Project) is a qualitative study with the object of research of students with a total of 50 people. This study aims to understand the role of the Indonesian language in improving the ability to write final assignments. For data collection techniques in this study using observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques. The types of data sources are primary and secondary. Then for data processing techniques by collecting data, editing data and interpreting data. The conclusion of this study is based on the standard size that is in accordance with the reference. Research and Development of DEPDAGRI now KEMENDAGRI (Ministry of Internal Affairs) applied with the results obtained from existing research data, the number of positive values that show the number 80.31%, which means the expected level of achievement is very effective because it gets 80%. Based on questionnaire data obtained by students learning about difficulties and they need help to be able to learn Indonesian Language courses for the sake of carrying out the final assignment they have to do after internship. 35.3% of them requested that the lecturers explain. 8.9% of them requested assignments and training and requested additional assistance. In addition, they requested that the lecturers explain briefly, because finally 5% answered the lecturers explained too quickly. As many as 4% of students answer Indonesian difficult because there is too much material and as many as 1% answer between lecturers and each other explain it differently.

Abstract

The International Convention on Training. Certification and Watchkeeping Standards for Seafarers 1978 (STCW1978), as amended in 1995 and last amended in 2010 the Manila Amendment 2010was intended to implement all changes agreed upon at STCW-95 by incorporating new technology. The time given by IMO to implement the 2010 STCW amendment convention to all its members in implementing changes is 5 years ending on January 1, 2017. This affects the institutions that provide education and training are required to be able to fulfill all changes and requirements. Shipping schools in Indonesia are required to apply the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number PM 70 of 2013 concerning Education and Training, Certification and the Guarding Service of Seafarers. The research method used is Indepth Interview or in-depth interviews with the population and samples are schools and shipping academies in the city of Semarang. Interviews were used to explore data related to the implementation of the 2010 STCWamendment rules in the schools concerned. The research data obtained are in the form of interviews written. The results of the interviews were then analyzed by understanding the relationship between the questions with each other by comparing the technical rules for the implementation of education and training for seafarers. The results of the study on the evaluation of the implementation of the 2010 amendment STCWas outlined in reference to the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number PM 70of 2013 obtained several conclusions. Shipping schools have difficulty meeting facilities including simulators. The biggest difficulty faced is funding because the price of simulators is quite expensive and the instructors are competent with seafarers. The role of the government is still very lacking in providing support and assistance in meeting the requirements that must exist for the smooth process of education.

Abstract

Awareness of sailing safety ls vital and must be prioritized. Various incidents of ship accidents, starting from burning ships and sinking became a separate evaluation material for Indonesia which declared it to be the world's maritime axis. The problem of the lack of safety equipment available on ships are found in cases of passenger ship accidents in Indonesia. This is also found in fishing vessels belonging to groups and individuals. The main reason stated by the ship owner is that the procurement of safety equipments requires no small amount of funds, and priority needs of each of the different safety equipments so that not all equipment need to be fulfilled, In addition, the low level of education and skills also affects safety awareness. The type of research used is Explanatory Research which aims to analyze whether or not the influence of the amount of fishermen's income on sailing safety awareness is mediated by education level. The number of research samples is 59 respondents who are fishermen on the North Coast of Java (Semarang, Demak, and Kendal). The research data was obtained through filling out questionnaires using a Likert scale with a range of 5. In addition, it was also strengthened by follow-up interviews to support the results of research data processing. From the results of the research data obtained results: (1) the amount of income did not affect the level of education, (2) the amount of income did not affect sailing safety awareness. (3) the level of education had a positive effect on sailing safety awareness and (4) the level of education was not mediates the effect of the amount of income on sailing safety awareness.
