Abstract

The waste problem in Sukabumi Regency, especially in Undrusbinangun Village, Kadudampit District, Sukabumi Regency has not been completely resolved, as there is still a lack of knowledge about how to process household waste. The handling of waste problems in Undrusbinangun Village must start from the source, namely the household by involving the active participation of the community. Awareness and concern for handling waste by the village community is still lacking. This is marked by the habit of burning waste that is still inherent in the community in managing waste. The purpose of this activity is for the community to have self-awareness not to throw garbage indiscriminately, let alone throw it into rivers and into ravines, and for the community to be able to sort household waste according to the types of waste, how dangerous it is to dispose of waste carelessly, how to implement it. waste management with the 3R concept and so on. Descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach. This research technique was carried out by means of field surveys, focus group discussions (FGD) involving participants, open interviews, and literature studies

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a decline in the Indonesian economy, including the tourism sector. As the condition has been improving in 2021, several strategies have been initiated to restore consumer interest in visiting tourist attractions. One of the ways is by collaborating with travel vloggers or travel influencers to promote tourist attractions. However, in-depth consideration is needed in the selection of the representative travel vlogger. The chosen figure must be credible so that the results of the review or recommendation can be trusted by consumers. This study aims to examine whether attitude homophily, physical attractiveness and social attractiveness can affect the credibility of a travel vlogger or travel influence. Based on the results of the multiple regression analysis, it is evident that the three proposed factors have a significant effect on the credibility of travel vloggers or travel influencers

Abstract

In class learning, the discussion method and the experimental method are needed so that students do not feel bored in carrying out learning activities. The success of the teaching and learning process can be seen from the achievement of KKM scores. In Class X Physics learning, only 64% of students achieved the KKM. Because of that, a class action research (PTK) was conducted, which included two cycles, and each cycle consisted of the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This research was conducted at class X MAN 4 Pandeglang Pandeglang in August - September 2022, with the aim of increasing student learning outcomes and student activity in the material Heat. Cycle I used discussion and experiment methods. In cycle II, classroom management techniques were added, organizing student study groups heterogeneously based on gender and student knowledge level. The results showed that the achievement of KKM for theory and practice increased, from 64% and 44.44% in pre-cycle, to 88% and 83.33% in cycle I, and 97% and 94.44 in cycle II. Research conclusions: The discussion method can improve student learning outcomes and the experimental method can increase student activity on heat material in class X

Abstract

This study contains three products made from palm shells, namely charcoal briquettes, activated charcoal, and liquid smoke. Aims to know and analyze the characteristics of the three products. Charcoal briquettes are made by printing palm shell charcoal powder and then testing for density, moisture content, compressive toughness, volatile matter, ash content, bound carbon content, and heating value. Activated charcoal uses shell charcoal powder which is activated by soaking for 5 hours in 5% hydrochloric acid (HCl) then tested for its adsorption on spills of used lubricant. Liquid smoke from oil palm shells is obtained by pyrolysis process and multilevel purification and then the yield, pH value, specific gravity, and color are measured. Palm shell charcoal briquettes had the following values: density 0.691 g/cm3, moisture content 4.935%, compressive strength 13.444 kg/cm2, volatile matter content 42.700%, ash content 3.000%, bonded carbon content 62.200% and heating value 6070.667 cal/ g. Palm shell activated charcoal has the ability to adsorb used lubricants up to 1.505 times stronger than activated charcoal with a bonded carbon content of 90.667%. Grade 3 palm shell liquid smoke produces a yield of 12.61%, a pH of 3.58, a specific gravity of 1.004, and a dark brown color. Grade 2 produces 8.91% yield, pH 3.24, specific gravity 1.004, and yellow color. Grade 1 produces 6.30% yield, pH 2.99, specific gravity 1.001, and pale yellow color

Abstract

The situation in urban areas that is experiencing the phenomenon of uncontrolled urbanization will result in many new problems such as increased deviance due to poverty, massive unemployment, an increase in slum areas, and so on. From this, urbanization can be seen as an indicator in determining the level of urban development both in the economic and social context. That way, it is possible to better see the form or understanding of urbanization and its impact on life in the city. Qualitative literature review is used by researchers as a type of research in this study. The data used is secondary data obtained indirectly from certain parties and media, meaning that there are certain parties who become intermediaries where they are the ones who obtained and recorded the data beforehand. Developmental life and developmental backwardness are “a series which are interrelated and cannot be separated from one another. Underdevelopment in rural areas arises because there is no balanced development carried out in urban areas. Distributed contributors to the failure of development in rural areas are the wrong views of influential actors in making views on rural conditions, both the physical and social conditions of the people. Urban bias is a concept that still influences development goals in rural areas and is considered relevant
