Indonesia is a country with abundant natural resources, especially minerals. Mineral processing in Indonesia is mandatory in accordance with government regulations, carried out using metallurgical process consisting of pyrometallurgy (extraction at high temperature), hydrometallurgical (low-temperature extraction through leaching) and electrometalurgi (extraction by utilizing electrochemical principle). For physics, to follow a comprehensive manner is through a thermodynamic wherein the variables (measurable) is involved in the chemical processes. These physical variables need to be controlled in order to obtain optimum mineral output. Thermodynamic equilibrium of a chemical reaction (Gibbs potential) is required to view the thermodynamic variables are interrelated. From this connection, the control is carried out intstrumen gauges, installed in the reactor (smelter) and connected to other equipment (mechanical) which then performs the state change according to what is required so that the process is stable. The processing of the feed mill wastewater has been done through the filtration media by varying the zeolite mass to know the influnce of zeolite mass variation on several parameters, namely of clarity, the value of TDS and pH of the wastewater feed mill filtrate. The filtration process was done by using a variation of the zeolite mass of 200g, 300g, 400g, 500g and 600g. Other materials were used as a filtration media was the active carbon, silica sand, and gravel with a mass of 200g has been controlled. The results showed that the processing of the feed mill wastewater by varying the mass of zeolite through filtration media could improved water quality of processing results. In this study the sample was using a zeolite mass of 600g has the highest level of clarity, with a value of TDS 844ppm and pH 7.8. Keywords: zeolite, filtration, wastewater, animal feed.

Water is major requirement for living process in the earth, there is not human existence if there is not water in the earth. But, water can be a disaster if it is not in the right condition, both the quality and the quantity. The aim of this research is to describe the water consumption quality of sufferers with skin diseases in pondok pesantren Al Hikmah Benda Sirampog Brebes. The kind of this research is descriptive survey research. The population of this research is all the water in the baths that are used by people with skin diseases in pondok pesantren Al Hikmah, and the samples are 10 baths itself, or using total sampling. And the data analysis of this research uses univariat analysis. The result of this research shows that water quality based on physic parameters such as color,and turbidity 40% eligible, while bacteriologist parameter for total coliform 100% ineligible. For that case, it is important for the comunity and goverment to make qualified clean water facilities, especially for the baths so both of quality and quantity of the water are qualified/eligible for the health of all the students in Al Hikmah Boarding School. Chicken eggshell is a waste of underutilized when high calcium. Calcium content is also available in wall paint in this research will be tested against the adhesiveness with the addition of chicken eggshell. The independent variables in this research is a mixture of chicken egg shells and wall paint. The dependent variable is observed paint adhesiveness was observed with how big the tear paint when hung load. The control variables in the research was the temperature. Two sheets of paper HVS each coated with original paint and wall paint with a mixture of chicken egg shells. The second layer of HVS hung rope and load varied mass. The research was conducted by comparing how big the pieces of paper HVS coated mixture of chicken egg shells and wall paint with paper coated with original paint when suspended freely within 5 seconds. The results showed that the paper coated with a mixture of chicken egg shells and paint experiencing tear smaller than the paper original wall paint coated only with a load mass and the same time. The addition of chicken egg shells containing high calcium with wall paint produce adhesiveness paint better to make the paint into a durable and long lasting. This paper discussed the simulation integration from several renewable energy sources, software HOMER were used to simulate hybrid (PV-Biogas) on grid electicity generation. The parameters observed in this simulation are the cost of energy (COE), where the optimal plant is the one that has the lowest COE. This reserch was conducted at Ponpes Baiturrahman Ciparay, Bandung which is the location of the field laboratory of hybrid power generation from renewable energy sources. Homer will be simulatied using combination of hybrid power plant on the optimum grid to supply electricity at the designated location. The simulation result using this software shows that a combination of on grid hybrid power plants can increase COE at $ 0,113 / kWh (PLN) to $ 0,186 / kWh (hybrid on grid). This indicates that the electrical energy generation from renewable energy sources is still expensive, so government must create regulation to provide subsides for rewnable energy sourced electricity. Fuel usage in households commonly used in all levels of society. Has become a daily needs of households in the use of fuels, especially for cooking. Limited supply of fuel gas causes the transition to alternative fuels such as rice husk furnace. Rice husk furnace is a medium that uses materials rice husk and in this study applied in thermodynamics experiment in the Department of Physics, IPB semester 3. In optimizing analysis and the efficiency of thermal energy using rice husk furnace as an alternative fuel of households conducted in three treatments (1 kg , 1.5 kg and 2 kg) of water boiling on the rice husk furnace. Rice husk furnace produces average value of thermal energy efficiency of 4.64% when the boiled water for 1 kg, 4.16% for 1.5 kg in the boiled water and 6.57% when water boil for 2 kg. Based on these results when applied in the community, will greatly assist the government in the national energy endurance. One of biogas conversion machine which started being used in Indonesia is a micro gas turbine. This study discusses the micro gas turbines fueled by biogas produced from the anaerobic process cow manure. Micro gas turbines are designed to drive electric generators with a capacity of 2.5 kW. The turbine is designed using some supporting components, namely compressor, combustor and turbine. Compressors are used axial compressor then other parameters are designed to meet the needs of the generation of 2.5 kW. Designing the thermal power station is assumed to be 100% methane. Based on the calculation and analysis of further gain the actual compressor 370.80 kJ / kg, combustion chamber heat supply 675.80 kJ / kg, the actual turbine work 612.19 kJ / kg and cycle efficiency of 35.81%. Generating this kind of micro gas turbine has the advantage that, are mobile and have the maintenance and operating costs are cheap. Indonesia as a country has various types of energy resources a sufficient number of abundance. Location of Indonesia is in the Khatulistiwa region, those regions Indonesia would always be sunlit for 10 until 12 hour a day. Indonesia as a tropic country has development potential and energy utilization as one of many solar energy conversion systems, this solar energy conversion systems can be applied to resolve the depletion fuel reserves existing conventional. Data Directorate General of Electricity and Energy Development in 1997. Electricity installed capacity solar power in Indonesia reached 0,88 MW of the available potential 1.2 x 109 MW. Types of Monocristalline solar cell is the most efficient panels, generate electric power per unit area of the highest. Have efficiences up to 15%. The downside of this type of panel is will not work either in the light of the sun is less (shady), efficiency will drop dramatically in cloudy weather. Photovoltaic cell always covered by a cover which is derived from a glass. Like other glass items, then the optical output from photovoltaic cell also heavily influenced by the orientation to the sun due to variations in the angle of reflection glass. Universitas Padjadjaran as one of the academic institrusi has a vision to participate development potential of renewable energy. In the development of renewable energies in particular solar energy, data about the potential of the sector in the region is very compulsory. One of the potential energy that its data has not owned a solar thermal energy. One way of measuring system of temperature remote environment is to use the sensor in the terminal stored a few hundred meters from the computer of the recipient. As the process of sending and receiving data can be done by using a Modem FM. In this case the processing and data conversion transformation is the environmental temperature (T), follow by transformed of T to Voltage, then converted to frequency (V/F) and finally it is modulated. Existence of environmental temperature visualization on the computer screen as results of demodulasi, conversion of frequency to Voltage (F/V) and the conversion of Analog to Digital. In this study addressed the analysis of transformation and environmental temperature conversion to digital data with the design using a conditioned LM25 Tranducer to the Voltage (0 to 5) Volts comparable to (0 to 50) oC. Converter (V/F) and (F/V) vice versa is (0 to 5) Volts comparable to (0 to5000) Hz. And the conversion of analog to digital (0 to 65535) is proportional to the temperature. Based on its transformasion and the conversion state information designed normal temperature at between 24-27oC, state of heat above 27oC is hot and under 24 is cool Keywords: Temperature sensors, Converter (V/F), (F/V) FM, Modem, ADC.

Soaking bamboo in swamp water serves to prolong the use of materials in the building structure. Soaking bamboo in swamp water was conducted for 60 days with an interval of 5 days. The longer soaking the bamboo then the stronger termite pest resistance. After bamboo was soaking for 15 days, termites did not want to eat bamboo. This situation is caused by methyl (CH3) which occurs due to the reaction between cellulose with methane in the swamp water. Bending test of bamboo which soaked in swamp water obtained the increase in modulus elasticity of before it soaked such as bamboo petung which increase from 411MPa to 513 MPa, bamboo hitam from 411 to 494 MPa and bamboo apus from 411 to 621MPa after. However Tensile strength of those three bamboo was decreased through increasing time of soaking. For instance Bamboo petung’s tensile strength was descerase from 95.3 MPa to 26.7 Mpa, bamboo hitam from 104.2 MPa to 52.6 Mpa and bamboo apus from 93.7 MPa to 43.2 Mpa.
